Pros: Good customer service to help you set it up initially. After that, it basically runs itself.

Before we selected SwipedOn, we looked at several different sign in apps. SwipedOn was the clear winner for us:

- Simplicity

- All the features we need, none that we don't need

- Inexpensive

- Intuitive for users

- All you need is the name of the person you are visiting, very easy

- web interface available for admins to see the past history of all the sign ins (including names, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. - very useful for marketing follow up).

1. Tap "Sign In"

2. Tap person you are going to visit

3. Read through the health & safety and other wording (customisable message specific to the company).

4. Sign on the ipad that you agree.

5. Ipad will take your picture and send an email to the person you are visiting to notify them of your arrival.

6. A name tag automatically prints out from a small Brother label printer next to the ipad.

7. Done!

Cons: SwipedOn is only for companies that want a "no frills" experience. If you require thousands of features, look elsewhere (for instance, there is no integration with Active Directory).

Currently only works on an ipad. However, this is not a big deal. We bought an ipad lock stand to keep the ipad secure. We also can lock down the ipad into Guided Access Mode. This prevents visitors from accessing anything besides SwipedOn on the ipad.

Overall: We wanted to get rid of our paper sign in book and replace it with a simple digital experience.

SwipedOn provided great assistance getting it all set up, and also answering our initial questions when comparing solutions.

Pros: It looks good and very professional. Very easy to customize the software to the corporate look of the organization. Support is very good if there are any problems or questions and are very proactive. They are also proactive in regards to EU GDPR, which is good for a company based in New Zealand. It show that they value EU customers. I would say that the product is good value at a decent price point. Vistors comment at how easy the system is to use and how good it looks. Employees find it easy to sign in and out of the office as required.

Cons: I really don't have any issues with the software, so would find it hard to have any faults. The only thing I would say is that with us being a school, we prefer not to use full names for our staff on the system. So a little bit more customization on the employee fields and the order in which they appear would be handy, but again this is not a major problem. Please remember that in order to use the software you will need a spare iPad and some form of secure enclosure.

Overall: It helped us meet our legal safeguarding and vistor management requirements.

Comments: Dear Reader(s):

I was tasked to deploy a visitor management system for a medium sized company. I sampled many different products and decided that SwipedOn was the best product for our needs. I needed a specific set of options, so I went with the Enterprise edition and made contact with the SwipedOn team.

From start to finish and beyond, SwipedOn's support team has been on top of everything!

Pros:

The install and activation process went very smooth without any issues. They take care of everything behind the scenes. I was given the opportunity to use the software and have access to the dashboard (remote administrator tool) before actually deploying the product. This was amazing! I love the dashboard. So many great features and allows me to control what is being presented.

New feature are always in development: Not quite a Cons list

There were a couple tasks that I was trying to accomplish, i.e., keeping track of visitors that haven't signed out. I contacted my support person and asked about this feature. I got a reply the next morning, informing me of a new feature (at the time of the e-mail, it would be deployed in 3 days) to automatically sign-out visitors at the end of the day. Perfect.

I wanted to create a set of options to separate contractors from visitors, so I simply asked my support team the best approach to this. They informed me that I can create a category that the visitor can select, instead of creating two separate lists when most of the information would be the same any ways. Great!

Much like anything in life, communication is key to understand the needs of others for the betterment of everyone. If you have a question, comment, concern or an idea, I recommend reaching out to SwipedOn and simply communicate with them. They are very professional and helpful. TL;DR - Medium sized manufacturing company uses sleek user friendly technology to sign in/out visitors and contractors. you can even setup a wireless printer and allow the program to access the camera to print out badges! Pros: We wanted to move away from the old style pen and paper in our organization, the system is easy to setup and easy to use, the system is very customisable.

having the ability to pre-register visitors is really helpful.

SwipedOn support team are really friendly and easy to talk / live chat with, always happy to help and generally resolve most issues within the initial conversation.

Generally the system has had a lot of positive feedback from our users and visitors within the group .

Cons: software updates can be quite frequent, but they generally fix most bugs quite quickly after iOS updates.

We have a lot of agile users who move from site to site, being able to add their email address to each account would be a great help, there is a workaround but means using a fictitious email and adding the main email as a cc'd address.

future developments would be good for adding a department in the user field which could enable a quicker roll call for evacuation mode, it is quite slow running through a site with 100 users, but no slower than the traditional paper based sheets.

not sure if it would ever happen, but having the ability to use an android device for the system would be a good option, given the costs of iPads compared to Samsung devices.

Overall: easier to manage and gives a wow factor to visitors.

Pros: Once the initial configuration is setup for the appearance and data collection it just works. No intervention is required to keep it running smoothly.

Cons: Email notifications for guest arrival sometimes take a few minutes to be received. Not sure if this is an issue on our end with the threat prevention software that we employ to scan incoming emails.

Overall: We launched SwipedOn to replace our paper books for tracking employees and visitors when they enter and leave our facility. We have around 70 employees using it and have been averaging around 8 visitors per day. The app is incredibly easy to use and offers plenty of opportunities to customize the information that you want to collect. Our EH&S team loves the "Evacuation Mode", which helps quickly identify everyone that is in the building and allows them to be checked in as "Safe" once they have safely evacuated the building in the event of an emergency. Customers and vendors that visit often comment on how easy it is to register as a visitor and get their badge.

Cons: Just being a bit picky but it would be nice to be able to redesign the label that is printed. Although, in fairness, it contains everything that we need on it so it's not really an issue.

Overall: We were looking for a low cost visitor management system for our reception area. With us only having one reception and a relatively low visitor count, a VMS wasn't really a necessity, it was more of a 'nice touch' kind of thing so we had to keep to quite a strict budget.

Having had free trials with around a dozen different visitor management systems of similar cost, we were getting frustrated that there always seemed to be at least one thing missing on them. Some were missing certain elements, some required the visitor to enter irrelevant information in order to sign out and some were just clunky & difficult to use.

We trialled SwipedOn and we finally found one that ticked all of the boxes. It is hugely customisable and allows us to set it up exactly as we'd like it. More importantly it allows US to set the rules on the data that we collect so we can keep it relevant, yet simple. Both the iPad and web interfaces are easy to navigate and are self explanatory.

We had a problem with email notifications not coming through from the software. Between the swipedon team and our IT support providers, we managed to solve the problem & it's now working perfectly.

Despite them being based at the opposite end of the globe, their support has been excellent throughout, an email response never more than a few hours away regardless of the time (I've had emails from their founders at 8pm their time).

Overall I'm very impressed with this software and will be signing up for the paid version shortly.

Pros: The aesthetic appearance which adds a professional look to a basic, but important task. It allows the company to collect relevant and vital data in a user friendly format. It does away with the old style books and entry passes and replaces it with a system that can be searched at a glance from your computer screen. It professionalises a moribund, out of date process and enhances the initial reaction of visitors. It's an old cliché but first impressions count and with the help of Swipedon visitors to our company have a positive image from the start.

Cons: The lack of site specific functionality. The ability to log in and out between sites where we have multiple iPads. It would be useful to know at which access point visitors/staff entered the site and equally as important to know where they exited. I haven't yet found out how to have a plain background on the welcome screen with just our company logo showing rather than the stock images loaded on to the system.

Overall: We did away with a system that was at best used sparingly. We can now make it a condition of entry on to our site and the tardiness people have shown to the old system will no longer be a reason to avoid the new. The ease with which both visitors and employees can enter and exit the site while informing the company of their presence is a strength of the software.

Pros: This software has an easy to use format, easy implementation and faultless back up support when and if required. Although the core team are in New Zealand, the response times on queries are better than most companies that are in the same postcode as us. Is saying this, we have had very little issues that pertain to the software as mostly it has been our own internal operator issues. The costs per month are reasonably priced and relevant to our business. There have been no hidden costs, loop holes or add ons required. The development team are open to suggestions and are keen to keep the product evolving to ensure it delivers in line with our daily work requirements. It feels almost like it has been tailored specifically for us.

Cons: We have not yet come across any negative items for this software since installation in December 2015.

Overall: After reviewing and trialing several bigger 'named' apps we found that they offered far more options than we actually needed and all were set up with pricing options that would of seen us having to pay for items that would not be utilised.

Pros: all sights can be managed from each location. Super fast to set up new locations, input new employees etc... basically really easy to set everything up really fast! We are going through a rapid growth period opening lots of new sights, so it is perfect being able to just login and add. Also took 3 minutes for me to teach the Community Coordinator in ChCh how to use the dashboard also...great!

Cons: Ben has let me know that there is heaps being worked on to improve the app which is great!

- separate photos for each sight

- the search feature when signing into see someone more obvious

-our sign in agreements length means that once people have signed they need to scroll down a little to see the sign in button, is easy! but for some reason lots of people walk away and leave it on that screen ...making the sign in button even more obvious would be great.

-is it possible to tap into gmail/email sound settings.. so that when a swipedon notification comes through, people here a specific sound notification? (just an idea, am a big fan of start ups)

-people ask for a pen to do the agreement signing..maybe a reminder to use your finger to sign?

Overall: Ben Scott has been super helpful!! When I am stuck or need a better understanding of anything he responds fast and has clear instructions. Thanks Ben!

Pros: Looks nice and modern

Cons: Expensive for what it is. Also the new version requests user info that should not be required. Why does a sign in app need email addresses of all employees? This was not required in the previous version.

We use employee email addresses as this is a fundamental part of any visitor management system - notifying your staff when the visitor has arrived via email. We also use email as the unique identifier for the employees in the database - hence another reason we need it.

Pros: Easy to use - meets all our requirements.

Cons: We are not advised/forewarned if there are any glitches in the system. We usually find out when we experience them and then contact the support. Admittedly there have been some that they were not aware of until we have brought them to support's attention and they always get addressed in a reasonable time frame.

Overall: With all the new changes in the Health & Safety at Work Act, our company needed to move forward with tracking all movement of staff (including the CEO's faithful 4 legged friend - she has her own profile) , contractors and visitors on the site. We are a paperless company so we had to source a simple but effective and efficient electronic version of a register and SwipedOn was the one most conducive to our application. From a cosmetic side, we have been able to load all three of our companies' Logos - giving extra brand recognition and exposure to visitors. The support we got and the ongoing support we get has been great. We are very happy with the System.

Pros: The best part about this software is the simple user interface in the web-based dashboard. I have used many different applications for this specific purpose and SwipedOn was by far the easiest to get up and running. I would spend hours trying to get the other software offerings set up and looking just how I like it. I was up and running with SwipedOn in 15 minutes. I also feel like the overall look of the application on our iPad looks more professional than any other software offering I have tried. The layout, look, and feel, of the visitor interface is simple, clean, and stylish. I don't ever have to help or explain how to use the application to visitors, it just that easy to use.

Cons: I have not come up on anything that I don't like yet. I haven't had SwipedOn in use very long but I have been using applications like this offered by other companies and it is by far the best one that meets our current needs and price point.

Pros: Ease of configuration, ability to personalise background, visitor functionality and notifications.

We have found the software very easy to use with visitors requiring little prompting to navigate signing in. Web desktop very clear and informative. Visitor arrival notification to staff is quick.

We have found the software to be extremely stable and reliable.

Cons: We require a dedicated staff sign in at an entrance away from reception and there is no ability to have a staff only sign in. The support staff have advised that they will inform us if this becomes an option in future versions.

Overall: Removal of paper based sign in register, visitor confidentiality - no one can browse the sign in register.

Easy visibility of building occupants for Health and Safety purposes.

Pros: The 'administration' center is easy to use and I love the feature of being able to assign different roles to users so the system can be maintained by others (like pre-loading visitors). The front end via the iPad is slick and modern giving a good look and feel to the solution.

Cons: Printing was an issue but this has recently been overhauled and now that area is much better. The big thing it lacks is Active Directory syncronisation (at time of writing at least). So all staff members need to be loaded manually and this becomes a problem across multiple sites when staff members travel.

Great software with clean, simple interface and great support. All for a reasonable price.

Pros: Has certainly improved our reception area and added to our professional image. It does it's job well and we have had numerous comments and complements. Fast ID printing and instant SMS notifications take the workload off our front office staff to streamline visitor entry.

Cons: No real negatives. The few issues we have had were dealt with quickly via the live support team portal.

Overall: Great first impression, reliable and simple to use software. Highly likely to recommend.

Pros: Functions are streamlined and easy to use, with a highly responsive web UI for administration, and a configurable and customisable UI for the sign-in accounts. Any queries that I have had were swiftly resolved by the very friendly support team.

Cons: Difficult to quote any cons about the software. The only thing that springs to mind is possibly extending the app so that the fire register is accessible from phones in the event that the iPad cannot be retrieved.

Overall: Easier to track employee movements for fire registers, and also notifies individuals of visitor arrival by e-mail.

Pros: It is easy to use always available and customers really get a buzz out of the ease of entry and the photo. Many people keep the photos to put on their fridge.

Cons: We have not had any problems with this software the only thing i would say is that if people are not connected to a company you need to enter something or you cannot continue. It would be good if this was not necessary.

Overall: Allowing us to know at all times who is on the premises and who they are visiting

Pros: Easy to use by visitors. Easy to configure and to setup employees and custom fields.

I like how we can easily configure our company logo on the iPad and also on the printout badges.

Cons: The Web Dashboard could be improved. For example, the timeline shows 2 entries for each visitors (in and out). Couldn't this be on 1 row only that would show the current status of the visitor.

Otherwise, this makes a dashboard that fills up quickly.

It would be usefull also to allow the Dashboard the possibility to display active entries for the current workday only. There is way too much old entries showing up. Maybe a switch like: Today / Week / All

Pros: Extremely easy to deploy, sign up, install app and your setup. Everything in the web management console makes sense and its clear to understand what each section is for. Very professional look, customisable backgrounds and much more. Pre book visitors, roll call, quick and easy sign in and out for visitors.

Cons: I would like to see it available on Android so a lower cost tablet could be used.

Overall: Due to GDPR and health & safety we need to move away from out old visitor book. Our old book used to have to be locked away each night to protect the data inside but be available during the day. After testing several solution I found SwipedOn to be the best overall for our requirements. No more having to hide the book, we now have GDPR compliance visitor records with SwipedOn. Since installing SwipedOn every visitor has comments on how professional it is and have all asked about it.

Pros: we simply love our new visitor registration program. SwipedOn is user friendly, easy to manage, font is easy to read for all, personalizing welcome page is easy and attractive. Iit's been just wonderful. It's saved us time, cost, and has provided the added security compliance required by our clients. Awesome product!

Cons: Evacuation list - since our employees do not sign in we do not have an evacuation list, however, I think i have a way to take roll-call using the check-in step, I've not tested this yet. Ideas and suggestions are welcomed.

Pros: We were in search of an application to replace our outdated paper sign in/out form and after much research we came upon SwipedOn. This offered us just about everything we were looking for and over time with their updates has become our primary app for employees and visitor tracking. There are VERY responsive to inquires and have been a great partner for close to a year. For us this has been a added value to the company and highly recommend it to others.

Cons: Ultimately we would like to see some more flexibility with the desktop login to allow employees to notate future out of office like vacation, etc.

Pros: It is easy to use. The software is great for marketing, branding and customization. Badges print automatically. And because the software notifies the host of their guest, the receptionist is free'd up to engage the guest - relationships are very important and it starts with the first person they see.

Cons: I wish we could have different settings for different iPads in the same location. Aside from that, which I hope is getting worked on, I have ZERO complaints.

Pros: easy to use and understand the apps

Cons: just the timer when visitors are looking for an employee, if you do not select who you are visiting the screen will go back to the main screen wiping off what you had enter already. I believe this settings can be extended to a longer period of time at their end

Overall: they have come along way and apps has been improving ever since. i will be installing a 2nd device at our branch office for this purpose. mostly use it for visitors and not employee yet...

Recommendations to other buyers: very affordable compare to some high end products out there and functions are all the same...

Pros: - It allows us to efficiently serve our customers when someone is away from the reception desk.

- Our clients can easily and quickly check in and let us know that they're here.

- You can customise the dashboard and add your own branding.

- We needed help to log into our admin account after a previous employee left the business, and the team at SwipedOn had it all sorted for us within 10 minutes. Their support is so quick and easy!

Cons: - Nothing I can really think of! The admin/set up website is really simple to use, so no issues there.

- Customizable colour scheme for interface so you can match logo.

- pre-check of visitors makes checking in important visitors quick and easy.

- Ability to display NDA/visitor notice lets us comply with regulatory requirements without extra paperwork.

- Portal is easy to use.

Cons: - So far only Con is a bug with employee picture uploads requires switching to a specific browser (Chrome). Otherwise it has worked perfectly.

Overall: We've been looking to ditch the old fashioned sign in book and paper NDAs and Security Briefings for a while but most of the visitor management apps out there have a steep price-point that puts them out of the range of small-businesses.

SwipedOn has a rich feature set without putting a hole in the budget. It allows is to track visitors and comply with regulatory requirements and also gives clients and suppliers that visit our facility a professional check-in process that gets them in quickly and effortlessly. The email notification is great as I'm not always at my desk.

Their customer service and tech support response is excellent.

Pros: As a general accountability tool I think its great. Simple interface and is developed with the end user in mind.

Cons: Admin log-in. The triple tap feature is neat but the fact its hidden to access the evac may be cumbersome if the end user is infrequent (ie: weekend supervisor or designee).

Overall: Great for accountability and lessons learned during evac drills when we match up to our staffing log that is typically printed (its also a battery stand alone so it works when the power goes out). Controls the entrance from solicitation - As a side affect, it holds the staff accountable and reminds them to be punctual (time stamp shown).

Pros: It looks good when signing in visitors and allows us to kill 3 birds with one stone by having the system for communication of our confidentiality agreement, communication of our site rule and compliance and also can be used during evacuation during roll calls.

Cons: Sometimes the system goes down but i think this is main due to us losing wi-fi connection internally or is linked to the fact we have an old generation iPad which to be fair to SwipedOn have recommended we upgrade to Air2 or better.

Overall: Quick and easy, visually more appealing then a visitor book. Allows for 3 uses all in one managed place.

Pros: Very easy to use and set up. Once set up there is very little to management required as it is easy enough for visitors to run through the system themselves. It looks great and has visually improved our sign in area where we get lots of positive comments now. We love the emailing / texting of visitor arrivals on site which makes it a lot easier for employees who aren't stuck in 1 location.

Cons: Greater space in text fields to give more scope to the questioning.

Ability to recognise the need for and issue Permits to Work (Contractor Management). We have done some workarounds so it is used for contractors but it isn't quite designed for that.

Overall: Good customer service is excellent with those guys working hard to help me get the system working that suits our site. I can't stress how much value for money you get with this system though, most other systems are 10 x the cost and do not give you 10 x the extra functions, features, usability, looks etc... not even close.

Pros: The design and navigation of both the user interface and dashboard, all of the options for it, and the customer service.

Cons: That the status on the visitor list does not show "today" for visitors that are signed in on the same day. Very minor, but it used to be like that and I liked it.

Overall: I've been with SwipedOn since they first started getting things up and running. I have watched them evolve very quickly into the best sign-in app I have ever used, and that says a lot considering having tried nearly all of them out there for our 300+ employee company. I do not think it's possible for someone to create a better one seeing as SwipedOn is *the* best!

Pros: Easy to implement, looks great and just works!

Cons: It's iPad only as we initially had older Androids available for use. No biggie.

Overall: We've been using SwipedOn for over 6 months and have had a great experience from the time we very first implemented it. We were up and running quickly and the team has been helpful with any questions we had along the way (thanks Megan - superstar!).

Visitors love the ease of use and often comment positively. Is a great step up from our older Visitor Book.

Recommendations to other buyers: We reviewed a lot of products before selecting SwipedOn. It just works and he price stands out amongst other more expensive products too.

Pros: We run weekly reports to check the technicians hours and keep track of the hours they are working on the project.

Cons: You can only log in on one Swipedon app. Would be good if you could use for multiple sites. That is the only issue I have had with this app.

Overall: Good way to keep track of staff and hours they work.

Pros: The way it impresses visitors to our office and the fire evacuation feature.

Overall: We now have a digital reception that not only impresses our visitors, but it enhances safety. Swipedon is a fantastic addition to any business who is looking to impress guests with efficient visitor management.

Pros: Ease of use and price. It works on older hardware so we could use an old iPad for SwipedOn

Cons: The fact that the price jumped when you get to 50 users (we have 53 people here). Also it would be good to have more control over the visitor signature notification area. For instance it would be good to be able to put the signature area at the top of the page rather than at the bottom.

Pros: it's attractive, and easy to use and has the functionality we require.

Cons: There are a lot of bugs to work out, but I can see the effort and we are happy overall.

Overall: We love this app, for it's potential. As they grow, their features are getting better and more reliable and we look forward to having it perfected soon! Overall, a great system that does everything we need for security, while also looking great as well! Highly recommend.

Pros: Great product, simple to set-up and administer and creates a great first impression for visitors - with a photo of our office on screen.

Overall: Have generally been really happy with the product. It is easy to use and represents good value for money. Was disappointed that we were not able to view an iPad Stand. It makes sense to be able to purchase these through SwipedOn and not an external provider.

Pros: The software is very intuitive with a user interface that makes sense. The best value for our money and customizable for exactly what we need. Training my staff on this took 5 minutes of time. They were able to pick up on it extremely fast.

Cons: The only issue I have had is updating my "employee" list with the CSV template provided. If the email address is already in the system it fails the upload. I would like to see the software just update the data for that employee instead of throwing a failure.

Overall: This software brought us into compliance with FERPA so we could secure the guest sign-in/out information. SwipedOn streamlined our process and makes it accessible to our office online anytime.

Pros: User notifications (mail & SMS), the dashboard to manage several sites, beautiful design & user interface. Nice possibilities to customize the layout of the app on ipad. Customer Service really solution oriented.

Cons: No AD synchronisation yet.

No possibility to sort the employees by family names.

Overall: A trendy reception desk and less waiting time. Also less manual intervention of the receptionnist with the SMS & Mail notification.

Pros: From an admin point of view, I like having the app on my monitor so I can easily monitor the flow of visitors in the building. It's great that I can quickly sign people out as a large majority of them forget to sign out. The notification feature of email and text to the employee works very well. Customer support is very responsive.

Cons: I have used the pre-register function a few times but this could be more efficient by allowing me to import a csv file of attendees for an event.

Overall: Ticks all the boxes for our health & safety requirements as well as allowing us to capture statistics and information relating to visitors to our building.

Pros: We love the functionality of the app it has a screen saver that allows us to showcase what we do,and it is user friendly so we have not has one visitor that could not use the app by themselves.

Cons: There are a couple large cons for us when it comes to the app. We do not like that even though you "save" the visitor they still have to resign the visitor agreement each time. Also we do not like that you cannot reprint a picture if for some reason there is an error with the printer.

Overall: We were able to clean up our reception area by upgrading to this app, and now all our visitors are able to wear a badge that does not require any extra effort on our side. Additionally, we do not have to keep any unnecessary paperwork because we print our visitor agreement when we want and not have to keep on the physical copies as we did before.

Pros: We use SwipedOn across 8 of our sites and its very easy to use. Quick initial set up, easy admin tools and staff & customers find the process seamless.

Cons: You cannot have the same email address across multiple sites so this makes it hard for staff who work out of multiple offices.

Overall: Our overall experience is very positive. All the Swiped On staff are very responsive to any questions. I would definitely recommend this product.

Pros: Ease-of-use. The product is very straightforward and easy to set-up. We no longer need to print out and file what seems like thousands of forms as they are all saved within the software. The option for SMS notification is something our employees have loved. SwipedOn is one of the cheapest options we found for this software, and they have delivered on every expectation we had.

Visitors have had no problems at all with the product, and some even enjoy having their picture taken. We have had nothing but compliments on the new system.

Also, their customer support is fantastic. They are open to suggestions and it is obvious that they want to produce a quality product.

Amazing customer service! SwipedOn has answered all my questions quickly and everyone's been great!

Pros: SwipedOn has made our company look really professional! Clients & visitors appreciate the ease of signing in, and the notification emails are excellent! They allow for more client interaction with the receptionist while the person they are here to see is on their way to join the visitor in the lobby.

Cons: We are looking to another sheet - not an NDA - for signing purposes, which is not yet available. We look forward to being able to use this application for multiple purposes in our studio.

Pros: Super simple to setup. Just enough customization of the look and very fast and reliable Support. The monthly fee is priced well, also.

Cons: Badge customization is lacking. We would like to be able to add information and the option isn't currently there to do it.

Overall: The previous software we used for VMS was not cloud based and very outdated looking. This adds to the look of the office and is very easy to setup and use.

Pros: It was effortless to get it up and running and the few questions I did have were answered in record time by the super helpful support team at SwipedOn. The interface is nice and clean. Just simple, modern design that does the job perfectly. I've had lots of positive comments from my visitors using it, which just reinforces that it was the right decision to get rid of the old paper book and move with the times!

Overall: Took an old paper-based process and modernised it in a digital way that now makes it very automated and easy

Pros: Its really easy to use and it has multiple functions- replaced out in/out board and physical visitor sign in book. No more wasting paper, and people like using it because its modern and easy/fun to use. Great that you can customize the look and use photos/branding from your company.

Cons: Nothing I can think of that I didn't like so far.

Overall: Anytime I had question, even simple ones, it was very quick and easy to get a response from them via their online chat. Best and fastest customer service I have experienced.

Pros: I really like the ability to customize the app. Our visitors love the historic photos that display on the sign-in page.

I can export visitor information into a spreadsheet. This really helps me with my monthly statistics.

The support I've received from the SwipedOn team has been great. They are very responsive and welcome to suggestions.

Cons: Some of the fields are required by the app, like the "Company" field. I would like the ability to choose the fields I need.

Overall: We are a small research center in a public library and use the app to track our patrons and post our visitor agreement. It's great to eliminate paper sign in! One of our patrons commented that this was "the best sign in app she had ever seen."

Overall: We have been looking around for software to be able to deliver an amazing 'front of house' look and feel to our school reception and finally found it with Swiped On. Although there is a lot of competition out there we found this to be best value for money with all the features we required. The support is also extremely good and always respond promptly. New updates and future developments are always in motion and would only increase it's already impressive feature list.

Recommendations to other buyers: Perfect addition to any reception and really useful for staff signing in as well for evacuation purposes

Pros: The price is excellent for all the functionalities that are offered. Simplicity in the configuration and in the user interface. It's possible to deploy this solution in less than 15minutes full operational. The support its another major pro to this product

Pros: Ease of use and great customer support (timely and knowledgeable)

Cons: Only one database, so we can't have people, of identical details, registered on both our sites. A tad frustrating.

Overall: The product does what it claims and does it very well. Great interface, easy to use and the support is always friendly and helpful.

Pros: It allows us to track employee attendance for both performance and health & safety purposes. Previously we didn't have an accurate register of employee attendance so this has streamlined that process for us.

We also love the visitor tracking and the way it emails the employee being visited. Recording the signed disclosure is also very helpful.

Cons: It only works on the iOS platform meant we had to purchase an iPad to enable us to use the app as we only use Windows or Android devices.

Overall: It has streamlined out employee and visitor tracking process giving more transparency and accountability.

Pros: Rather than having to print out a sign in sheet for employees, the ease of being able to sign in each morning and know who is and isn't in is a great help.

The visitor feature has increased out ability to make lasting connections with capture of emails and who is visiting

Cons: Excited to see links with other applications that will come (integration with out CRM software and Slack messages)

Pros: Interface (both internal & external), functionality, features -- Pre-Registration, Visitor Logs, Employee Evacuation

Cons: Cannot tie directly into our employee software feed for automatic csv updates.

Overall: SwipedOn is an easy-to-use system for both our visitors and our admins. It's innovative in its look and design but offers exceptional functionality and security. We have had nothing but positive feedback. SwipedOn always has a prompt response to all our troubleshooting and is constantly progressing with updates and feature additions.

Pros: It's very simple - both from a management and visitor/employee point of view.

The SwipedOn team are very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Largely none!

There are one or two things we'd like the system to do, but the team tell me these will be built into future updates.

Overall: We initially took on SwipedOn as a trial, as we were a little late in starting the actual trial in our organisation, the team were more than helpful in extending our trial and enabling some of the extra functionality not normally included in the trial. As the product is so simple and easy to use, as well as value for money, we are now a subscribed customer.

Recommendations to other buyers: Take the trial - experience it for yourself.

Pros: Easy to use. Have had no instances where the software has failed.

Cons: Honestly, no complaints.

Overall: We have received so many positive comments from visitors about how great SwipedOn's sign-in process is. We love it! Originally had in only one of three offices. Now all three are converting over.

Comments: One of our subsidiaries moved to new premises recently, and part of the project was to find a system to log visitors and employees in. I reviewed a number of products, finally settling on a trial with SwipedOn. Since its introduction into the business as a trial, the feedback has always been positive. Even visitors have remarked about simple to use the system is, and how professional it looks. Compared to other products on the market I have been impressed with the software, and the user-friendly nature of the system.

My dealings with the backend support of the system have also been positive and always received support as and when required. I'd be more than happy to recommend this system to any company looking for a device to record visitor and employee access to the business.

Overall: We needed to replace our old Visitor system as it was unsupported and stand alone. Swiped On has been the perfect replacement. We've been using it now for 4 months and everyone finds it simple and easy to use. We looked around and found Swiped On to be the best value considering there are a lot of options. Swiped On's customer support is also some of the best we've seen - considering they are a small company. Keep up the good work Swiped On.

Pros: Simplicity, speed and lovely design.

Cons: Does not support Android tablets (at least didn't when we signed up)

Overall: We have been using SwipedOn for 5/6 months now and have been suitable impressed. Visitors sign in quickly and the photo ID badges print instantly. It looks great on our reception wall too.

We often get positive comments from Visitors and Contractors utilizing the system. Can't fault it and we feel the pricing is very fair compared to similar products. Customer support has been very responsive and helpful too.

Keep up the good work team!

Recommendations to other buyers: We'd certainly recommend it to anybody out there, looking to purchase. Ticks all the boxes!

Pros: Ease of implementation. Responsiveness of technical staff. Our visitors have been very impressed with the system.

Overall: We researched many options for Visitor tracking. We are a small business with 2 buildings that needed login stations. SwipedOn was by far the most cost efficient and their technical team has been very responsive to our needs and suggestions. The system fit the sweet spot of features that we required at a reasonable cost.

Pros: Very easy to setup and install, and is pretty intuitive in how to use it, both as administrator and user. The customer service is incredibly helpful and quick to respond as well.

Cons: There could be more customisation options, e.g. to do away with the signature function and just tap a button instead.

Pros: Easy to sign in, easy to find the data a need. Quite a simple system to move around and to change things. like the fact that I could put our own pictures on there of our company.

Cons: There is only one thing that I think it needs and that is a clock on the main signing in screen. I have had comments about visitors having to take photos when signing in, unsure if that facility can be removed.

Overall: Accurate time keeping of employees.

An undiscovered jewel. Best way to improve that first impression clients have of your company.

Comments: I used an older version of SwipedOn that was a stand alone device for a couple of years. It served a purpose. Now that I have the latest version with an internet browser based dashboard I have a better admin experience without having to be physically at the ipad location. I did connect a Brother label printer to generate visitor badges for my guests. Works seamlessly with SwipedOn. The evacuation feature is key for my company and I can use my smartphone to do the role call to see at a glance if everyone is accounted for.

Comments: Prior to using the SwipedOn application, we resorted to a paper based sign in/sign out process which was both time consuming and monotonous. After moving over to SwipedOn we have found the sign in/out experience to be much more fluid, engaging, as well as eliminating unnecessary paper costs (which is always a bonus!)

The application is very responsive, well designed, and easy to use. The visitor notification system is also a fantastic feature as it moves the need from our receptionist to notify staff members onto the SwipedOn application itself.

We'd recommend the SwipedOn solution any day!

Pros: It is a great way to enhance security by taking pictures of all visitors who check in. We are also able to keep daily data for future use.

Cons: We need it multilingual if possible. In this area, we have a lot of visitors who are Spanish speaking only. We also have a few who speak Vietnamese.

Overall: Digital sign in and saving all data in the dashboard. Taking pictures of all visitors and see their faces.
