Once you set it up, you can let it run and can import employees via sheet which can reduce/eliminate individual manual input. Pros email notifications to the host, this has been so helpful since sometimes you are unavailable to be there to notify the host of their guests arrival. June 16, 2016 5.0 I've been with SwipedOn since they first started getting things up and running. I have watched them evolve very quickly into the best sign-in app I have ever used, and that says a lot considering having tried nearly all of them out there for our 300+ employee company. I do not think it's possible for someone to create a better one seeing as SwipedOn is \*the\* best! Pros The design and navigation of both the user interface and dashboard, all of the options for it, and the customer service. Cons That the status on the visitor list does not show "today" for visitors that are signed in on the same day. Very minor, but it used to be like that and I liked it. Review Source BO Brittany O. The software is great for marketing, branding and customization. Badges print automatically. And because the software notifies the host of their guest, the receptionist is free'd up to engage the guest - relationships are very important and it starts with the first person they see. Cons I wish we could have different settings for different iPads in the same location. Aside from that, which I hope is getting worked on, I have ZERO complaints. July 16, 2020 4.0 Like any process change in a company, new systems take a bit of time of getting used to. Some find it interesting, some tech-challenged people find it annoying. But for our purpose, they understand and receptive of what we do. We are digitising as much of our work flow to stay ahead in the industry and keep our efficiencies up. Pros It makes the front desk easier to manage with people visiting and going. With covid-19 contact tracing this is necessary for us to keep our personnel and visitors safe. We can keep tack and generate reports easily. Cons Sometimes it sends notifications twice on email. Reason for choosing SwipedOn Our I.T. Team did their homework in finding out different products but I think Customer Support was a huge factor in choosing SwipedOn. Consumer Goods Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Excellent Visitor Management Solution for Small Workgroups" August 24, 2016 4.0 We've been looking to ditch the old fashioned sign in book and paper NDAs and Security Briefings for a while but most of the visitor management apps out there have a steep price-point that puts them out of the range of small-businesses. SwipedOn has a rich feature set without putting a hole in the budget. It allows is to track visitors and comply with regulatory requirements and also gives clients and suppliers that visit our facility a professional check-in process that gets them in quickly and effortlessly. The email notification is great as I'm not always at my desk. Their customer service and tech support response is excellent. Pros \- eMail notification to user and central. - Customizable colour scheme for interface so you can match logo. - pre-check of visitors makes checking in important visitors quick and easy. - Ability to display NDA/visitor notice lets us comply with regulatory requirements without extra paperwork. - Portal is easy to use. Cons \- So far only Con is a bug with employee picture uploads requires switching to a specific browser (Chrome). Otherwise it has worked perfectly. Pros \- It allows us to efficiently serve our customers when someone is away from the reception desk. - Our clients can easily and quickly check in and let us know that they're here. - You can customise the dashboard and add your own branding. - We needed help to log into our admin account after a previous employee left the business, and the team at SwipedOn had it all sorted for us within 10 minutes. November 13, 2019 4.0 We use it as one of our Visitor management tool. As of now it works in one office, we are planning to expand. Pros Biggest advantage of the tool will be during the evacuation process. I would say this is a "must" tool for every organization. One of the biggest advantages of the tool apart from its features is its affordable pricing. With this price, I believe this tool is a real gem. Customer Support is excellent. Cons As of now, I don't see any disadvantages or challenges with the tool. It does what it promises. Amazing tool. Pros For me being at the front desk SwipedOn is an asset. No more use of tags that are usually taken home by the visitor as they get a printed adhesive name tag now. No more trying to find the staff member they are visiting as the text/email goes direct to them. Ease for management to view who has visited. The ability to pre register a group of visitors before they arrive. From the employee side I can easily view which staff members are on site and who is absent. The ability to run an evacuation list remotely. Cons The fact that you have to pay extra for the delivery feature. I would highly recommend it. Cons It would be great to be able to have notifications on when staff come in and leave (email or sms). Or even better if you can set their working times (08:30 - 17:00) and you put an allowance of say 5 minutes (variable) each way and it pings you a message if they arrive outside this time. Controls the entrance from solicitation - As a side affect, it holds the staff accountable and reminds them to be punctual (time stamp shown). Pros As a general accountability tool I think its great. Simple interface and is developed with the end user in mind. Cons Admin log-in. We are a business incubator and get a lot of visitors for our tenants. We entered every tenant and their employees as an employee as well as our own staff, so we can easily track who is in the building and who they are there to see. Makes it perfect for contact tracing. Pros We love how easy and how little time this takes to use once set up. Cons We haven't found any cons yet but we wish it had a text blast feature for emergency communications. Reason for choosing SwipedOn SwipedOn's capabilities for it's price are definitely the best value. Also, it's ease of use was key in our decision making. It is expandable\* for multiple sites and is super easy to use and management. Cons My slight disappoint is that this application does not have any type of AD integration for easy user management. Therefore we are expected to export our active staff list every month to ensure that the employee list is up to date. It's made a big impact on our reception area as not only are we completely GDPR compliant with out sign in system but having a digital screen rather than a well used visitor book looks much more professional. Pros It's so easy to use for all of our visitors, and because the customisation is so easy from the desktop it's always up to date. Cons It's a shame that you can't make the second field optional for clients signing in - not all of the visitors to our business centre are representing a particular company (i.e. interview candidates, counselling clients etc) so to make this optional would speed up their sign in process.
