Pros: It's easy to use and most understanding product very simple instructions it's great for new business

Pros: Easy to get up and running. Was willing to give up the revenue to ensure it was easy for customers. I really dont need to write any more but this is requiring 100 characters.

Cons: Cludgy interface for making changes and having to rely on technical support for some standard changes

As compared to 2017, 2018 was almost a disaster. Very slow response, duplicate credit card charges

Pros: I loved the customizability of the registration form. It is very straight forward and easy to use. I found 123SignUp on an internet search. My initial contact was very help and made it very easy.

Cons: Our registration opens at 5 PM EST on January 1. For 2017 the system was brilliant. I had 104 people registration in 23 minutes and the end user thought it was great. For 2018 the system was slow, people were stuck on random pages, Lots of frustration and unhappiness. Many people were closed out. I contacted customer support and they were very helpful but could not find out why this occurred.

It is useful for my need. I (AR) do not use all of its functions. I don't know the cost.

Pros: I like the reports downloading into excel.
Every time I have called for help it was received quickly and professionally.

Cons: Many report names are not the same as the report title. I only run reports in regard to payments and refunds once a month. I often have to run a few reports to remember which one I ran based upon looking at the output of the prior months reports. I, of course, could write better notes for myself too.

Pros: We use it for event registrations and we pay a reasonable price per registration instead of a huge flat fee. 123Signup is fairly easy to learn and use. Tech support people are good.

Cons: The tech support is not open enough hours. On the other hand, when you do get hold of them they are all native English speakers without distracting, confusing, indecipherable singsong accents.

Overall: I have answered a bunch of questions already and do not see why I should answer any more.

123signup has made it easy track conference attendees and allow credit card use. Big thumbs up!

Pros: Easy to create your event and select the functions needed to track specifics and tailor to your audience.

Cons: Not big complaints with the software. Perhaps the reporting tool could be a bit more concise or easy to use.

Pros: it provides me the information necessary to produce reports that assist me in assembling information presented to others.

Cons: Very inflexible and cumbersome on some report generating functions. the data export functions could be simplified and modified.

Overall: I wouldn't say benefits, just the information necessary to generate information I am required to use in my reports.

Have used this product for 5+ years for our professional association.

Cons: Customer support, they failed to solve a problem I had so I gave up and did a manual work around. If my answer is too short I will add words.

Pros: One place to find the information about the number of attendees for each course. Calendar and history available.

Cons: Too difficult to find the info about the attendees. You have to create few Reports to find out all information you require. Too often the software kick you out and you have to sign in again. Too many pages to fill when create a new session. Lack of ability to bold letter or change a font when creating new series of training. Too difficult to recognize which one belongs to me. Difficult to go from session to session to copy paste the same information when creating the new series of training sessions.

My experience has been wonderful! I coordinate many conferences and 123Signup is the best I've used

Pros: Very easy to use, will let you shape your event whatever way you wish, does everything from certificates to e-mails, the staff is always there to help if you have any questions, and the price is right!

Overall: The benefits are that it saves me a lot of time and lets me work on other conference related things.

Pros: The simplicity of the sign up page without a lot of clutter! Many signup forms have so much on the page it confuses the customer.

Cons: Sometimes it would be good to have more features and ability to add more content and options to explain in more detail.

I enjoyed using 123Signup, Once I Learned how 123Signup works and which reports to request.

Pros: 123SignUp has reports that will detail the results of our monthly event in regards to the members and non-members that register for our monthly events. The related reports makes the retaining of support information an easier paper trail to follow and makes the annual review run smoother.

Cons: The timing of the distribution of funds from a monthly event. The members complain about the fees charged and the time it takes for 123Signup to fund the proceeds from our monthy envents and out periodic hosted events.

I've used 123Signup for my annual conference for 15 years and couldn't do without it.

Pros: I need something between me and my merchant account and this is the solution. I find it very easy to use, setting up the registration function just how I like it.

Cons: Since I only use it once a year, sometimes I forget certain functionality and have to walk through it again. The help feature could be more user-friendly.

Pros: There are a lot of options in how to set up the survey. We used the feature that allowed for multiple tracks which other companies don't always offer at a reasonable price.

Cons: The back end can be a little confusing. When setting up the multiple tracks, it starts to look overwhelming.

Easy to use to collect registration fees and the customer service is excellent.

Pros: I like the ease of use once you get the hang of it. If there is something complicated you are working on, it easy to reach out for support. The customer service people are real people who are eager to resolve any issues and make your life easier.

Cons: The interface seems to ask redundant questions and unless you already know that, you may end up entering conflicting information.

Overall: Quick and easy to use. I like that I can re-use past event templates.

Use to sign up people manually for classes/conference our firm put on. It's a Life Saver for me!

Pros: The ease of setting up a class/conference. And if I need help, I get it immediately when I call. Since I use this maybe 3-4 times a year, I learn something new everytime.

It works reliably and any issues are solved in a short amount of time by support.

Pros: Its easy to use for both myself as the admin and users signing up for our annual conference. It works great for multi-day, multi-session conferences.

Cons: Having to write html. I would like to be able to customize more. I do not like that we are charged for events with $0 registration fees.

The software has met my needs well. If I have questions Customer Support is very quick to solve.

Pros: The event set up is easy to use. The reports provide the information that I need and are easy to produce. Payment is prompt and well documented.

Overall: I have not upgraded to the new version. Once I do upgrade I hope registration by constituents will be easier and more obvious.

Pros: The price structure. As an organization that holds one event per year, tools that require annual fees were way too pricey. Also like the ability to copy an event from history to start a new one.

Cons: Entering activities is quite cumbersome especially when trying to enter multiple activities in sequential order by date and time. Trying to re-sequence or add something in the middle of the sequence after the fact is quite frustrating. Would be great to have the ability to import from a spreadsheet to avoid all of the screen refreshing that is done during this process

Pros: I like the event management features and that you can preview events and mass e-mails before sending them out. A lot of the settings are perfect for our organizations events, such as capping attendance, setting up registration links and accepting credit cards.

Cons: Sometimes I have trouble navigating to the page I need to be at and it takes a little extra time even being a site admin.

Overall: Great events management!

My only complaint is not having access to all my previous events.

Pros: I like the way I can use a previous event to create a new one. I also have the ability to add survey questions.

Cons: My only complaint is not having access to all my previous events and survey responses from all my previous events.

Overall: The event promotion tools, the credit card payment system, and the questionnaire feature.

Pros: once they helped me figure it out, it has been running really smooth with very few problems. I was a little confused because I m using this for dog show entries online instead of meetings or conventions, etc. and there are things that I dont need but I just dont use them!

Cons: it was complicated to set up for my type of needs but they were patient with me and helped me to get exactly what I need. The only thing that is missing is the amount that the customer paid directly on the main sign up... I have to go back and forth between that and reports to confirm what they paid.

Overall: easy for the exhibitor to sign up for a show.

123signup was in use when I began working for my company. It was easy for me to learn and use.

Pros: The system is much easier to manipulate an attendee spreadsheets when you have a smaller event, however, folks can still make changes to their attendee list regardless of the cutoff date.

Pros: The variety of capabilities as well as the expansive reporting options. Our organization treasurer finds the reports very easy and helpful. The Customer Service personnel could not be better! As the administrator, I find this to be a huge plus! I know I can count on them to get back to me when I go to them for help.

Pros: Customer service: Since my organization had changed their type of service, reports were lost, but customer service created a report that provided all the data I needed very quickly.

Cons: The reports tend to be slightly confusing, but I have only begun to use them. Perhaps it's because there are so many reports and, as treasurer, I only need certain ones, while others in my organization need the others.

Really good site for setting up meetings. Customer support is excellent!!

Pros: Pretty easy to use, both for the person setting it up and the end user. I've used the software for two meetings now and am starting to get the hang of it. Whenever, I have a question, the customer support, both by email and telephone, are outstanding.

Cons: Would be nice if the waiting list feature was per activity rather than for the whole event. This makes the feature mostly worthless for events with more than one activity.

Overall: Ability to set up meetings, register attendees, and collect fees.

It does what we need at a price our tiny association can afford, but it's clunky and awkward to use

Pros: It provides the service to set up meetings and track the income and expenses at a cost that makes other similar services seem very expensive.

Cons: The interface is unattractive and the selection of reports is restrictive, slow and very awkward to use.

Pros: It gets the job done with very little effort. It's set up logically and works really well. I get an email notification the minute someone registers and it always works! And I've never had better customer support. They're fantastic!! (I would've given them more than 5 stars.)

Cons: Modifying the list of events is a tad cumbersome, but setting it up from scratch is actually very easy.

Overall: When I get a registration form on paper (which happens occasionally), it takes me much longer to enter that single form than to download the information from multiple registrants who used 123Signup. Plus that, downloading the information totally bypasses the issue of typing errors I might make by entering data manually.

123Signup helps to manage our events and provides the information our organization needs.

Pros: The tracking of our members' attendance and ability to make adjustments. Tracking provides information needed for member benefits and awards.

Cons: Limitations on reports. We need the ability to run multi-event reports and tracking of members. 123Signup does provide some capability, but our needs are specialized.

Pros: I appreciated the ability to PDF or download excel reports. That was terrific! I was a temporary administrator for just one event planning session and really enjoyed the reports.

Cons: a bit cumbersome to use as a first time and temporary user that was only using it for one event. I would like to see the customers email include a copy of their invoice along with the agenda that they can print off in PDF version right when they get a confirmation. Thanks for asking.

Pros: Once I get the registration page set up the software creates the presentation to our users.

123signup has changed many options to make our registration pages and letters to our members more personalized - with logos, banners, etc.

Cons: I do have to call regularly for help - so glad customer support is there. Adding additional information and choices for our registrants requires 123signup manipulating on their side of the equation.

123SignUp is a great way to track our employee participation in Lunch and Learn sessions.

Pros: 123SignUp is incredibly easy to use and our employees have given positive feedback about it as well. Having the ability to track our employees when they sign up for our training programs has allowed us to be more efficient in our roles at the organization.

Cons: The interface that you use to set up the events looks a little bit outdated, but that's a very minor con. There was a little bit of a learning curve when issues would arise with the creation and editing of events, but the customer support staff was great with answering any questions I had.

Pros: I personally loved the communication tool. It was simple to use but greatly improved our communication with every event.

Pros: The features, price & support: it does what we were looking at a reasonable and is very easy to use and copy existing events to make new event. With the 123Signup we can add a link to our training schedule. The customer can sign up and pay "24/7". Since we are a small training center, the price of other event management software that was subscription based was prohibitive. 123Sign up is priced "by use". And that makes a lot of sense for us.
Tech support is also great and reply right back if you have any issues. Don't buy features that you will not use. With this product you get quality and is not going to cost an "arm & a leg" so to say.

Cons: The interface for the configuration is pretty text based. I would like to see it more graphics and easier to jump between options.

Comments: We were looking for a program that would allow customers to sign up for our traditional classroom training and also collect the fees. We did not need a email management software, or full web marketing suite like Constant Contact. We found 123SignUp and were immediately impressed by the eval, the support and pricing. Sarah gave me an my coworker a private training session. We learned the basics and had our events links made in no time. We had they register our PayPal to collect the sign up fee, and we were set. We have used it for 18 months and have had zero issue.
The web interface seems a bit dated, but the functionality is 100% there. I am sure they will catch up with the UI at some point.
I would totally recommend this product.

Comments: We've been using 123Signup since 2009 and are very happy with the product. We present 3 annual pediatric conferences with about 200-300 registrants for each conference. 123Signup provides the flexibility & functionality we need at a very reasonable cost.

In evaluating our product options, we found that many choices were either too simple (didn't have the functionality we needed) or were more robust (and expensive) than we needed and not scalable to our less-complicated needs.

Our conferences have multiple registration types with varying fees and several fee deadlines. In addition, we offer optional "add-on" items which can be purchased during the initial registration process or at a later time. 123Signup has the functionality to handle all of these items and updates, as event items are added or changed, are easy. Our events are quite similar year-to-year. When setting up a new event, we can copy the prior year event and update dates, fees, etc.

Pricing was a significant factor in our initial and on-going decision to use 123Signup. 123Signup's usage-based fee (percentage of registration cost) in combination with the fee cap (maximum per registration) makes this product cost-effective for our medium-sized medical conferences.

We've had quick and effective customer support from 123Signup. We recently requested a customization for our events and it was implemented within 24 hours.

On an overall basis, we've been very satisfied with 123Signup and would highly recommend this product.

Comments: Making ticket sales available on-line through this company has been a great help to our small non-profit organization. It has reduced staff time as well as insured that patrons pay for their reservations at the time they make them. It streamlines the sign-in procedure when they arrive to claim their seats. We don't have to worry about collecting money from them at the gate, figuratively speaking, and if they fail to show up it is their loss, not ours. Most like being able to make on-line reservations 24/7 at their convenience. It took a bit of customer education but it has proved to be a good thing for us and them in the long run.

Overall: Our organization had been using a small independent web service / training registration program for several years. I liked the person contact with the owner and the ability to pickup the phone and get someone to help. The organization expanded our web / training registration needs and unfortunately the owner wasn't able to produce what we needed. We found 123Signup and I have been impressed from day one with the easy and prompt service from customer support. I can't say enough positive things.

Cons: the two things I mentioned.

Overall: The only drawback that I have encountered is that we cannot merge accounts with the same member.
We sometimes have members who register for exams for conferences with a different email address and thus start a non member account when they already have an account.
I usually terminate the non member second account, and can see their transaction history, but it would be nice to merge that info into their member account.

I wish that the Donation section could be categorized to various donation types.

Comments: Although the system lacks some useful features it does deliver a solid and reliable registration service. We use 123Signup for our conference (about 600 attendees) because we can rely on it. We had only one instance where the system went down (in the last five years) and it was fixed within an hour. Customer service is excellent and is very responsive typically answering questions within the hour.

Comments: 123 Signup works for us as a smaller organziation. While I like that we can include links, it would be much easier if we could attach PDFs to our mailings. In addition, it is frustrating to have to enter in code whenever I want to change the font of my emails to make them easier to read. The customer service team is fantastic! They are kind and the communication is wonderful. They work to rectify any problems and are always happy to help.

Cons: wish the donation area had more flexibility and could segregate donation by category.

Overall: I appreciate that I am connected directly to a person and do not have to listen to a computerized menu. I have always had great and correct customer service and all my questions are answered.
123signup always makes updates to our Dues, or any other changes, promptly.
I only wish that the credit card fees were lower; we collect hundreds of thousands in dues and registration fees, and I wish we had some sort of quantity discount.

Recommendations to other buyers: I find it easy to use. Our treasurer and our outsourced staff have had trouble. I think that the registration area hung her up with new registrants vs registering an existing member. She learned a lot her first time around, and so did I.

Overall: Going from educator to business woman was quite a transition. I looked for products and services that were cost effective, easy to use, and provided great tech support. I also looked for services that would support my newly acquired business skills. 123 Contact software addresses 90 % of our "bookkeeping" and organizational needs. Being new to the business world it took me awhile to learn and understand my way around 123 Sign up, however, when I needed support I always received thorough, step by step, detailed instructions from 123 staff. The customer support and the willingness to help meet my business needs, is the reason my company will stay with 123Signup until the day we close up shop.

Recommendations to other buyers: You will like the convenience of keeping all your business' organizational pieces with one company.

Comments: My organization runs 40 events a year ranging from one-day seminars with simple RSVP registrations to week-long conferences with multiple tracks, activities, and constraints. 123Signup is flexible enough to handle all of our events. The best thing about 123Signup is their accessible customer support team. When I call, I don't have to hold for 20 minutes. In two rings, I get someone on the phone who's willing to help me immediately.

Pros: Instant response - if I need something changed or updated, it's generally done within a day or two at the most. If I need some special report, likewise a simple explanation of what I am looking for and I have it. The support team is the best I've ever dealt with. And if you have any questions, an email generally solves it within an hour or two.

Cons: I would describe myself as a "power" user. The system is built for the general user with easy to understand screens, reports, etc. While I get everything I really need, there is sometimes more screens to accomplish a task than I think necessary.

Recommendations to other buyers: This is a member management system. You need to look at all of the tasks managed by the system that you might need, from credit card processing, to member management, online directory, financial reports, etc. I have reviewed other systems and while they might do some of the things just as well, I have yet to find a more comprehensive package.

Comments: We needed an event management system for an annual event of about 200 to 300 people. 123Signup takes our registrations and allows me to view the data in various reports. We can get financial reports and attendee lists of course, but I really like the "Incomplete Registration" report for those who entered the system but did not complete the process. I email them to see if they really wanted to register or not. Some thought they were registered and are grateful to know they needed to complete the process.

"Pending Payments" is another report that I love to run to email people who are overdue on payments. The statistical reports from our questionnaire which asks if they had previously attended and how they will be traveling are greatly helpful in understanding our population.

Getting the word out to our subscriber database is no problem and very quick and efficient. The statistics on the number of delivered messages vs. bounced is helpful.

The best part of 123Signup is the service. They are very responsive and work with you to give your registrants the best experience possible.
