February 24, 2026 5.0 Pros What I like about Resource Guru is how simple it makes resource planning and team collaboration without dumbing it down. The drag-and-drop scheduling is fast, the visual calendar makes capacity gaps obvious, and the clash management feature saves you from awkward “double-booked again” moments. It gives you clarity on who’s doing what and when. Cons What i dislike about Resource Guru is that reporting and advanced analytics feel a bit limited compared to more enterprise-heavy platforms. Now I simply go to the “Home” area and see who is due. So I don’t get screamed at by my boss. Helps with our remote team. All of us work in different time zones. I could not possibly manage that on my own. Using the AI agent to summarize yesterdays chaos, saved me from reading 100 comments. There are fewer sticky notes on my desk. Which is nice. Pros Honestly I use it as necessary but the dashboard does tell me what my team is working on and I am surprised that the automation runs on time instead of never. Cons The worst part about Resource Guru is the guest access. I keep accidently providing clients full seats. Way over priced. Clunky. The items marked as “Required” on the Home page are junk. We use it on a daily basis - multiple times a day. We are constantly updating our knowledge base and Guru has made this so easy. Pros Guru is amazing. The amount of knowledge you can pour into it and organize is insane. It is so easy to use. It is also so easy to collaborate on knowledge base cards with team members. We have yet to run into any bugs or issues. The customization is key here, because you can set it up however you want. Very helpful. Cons Support does not always get back to us in a very timely manner, but when they do, they are awesome at it. Pros Resource Guru is super simple to use and has a modern clean look. It makes team collaboration easy, and through user access permissions ensures that only users that should update schedules can. The customer support team are really quick to help when needed and can't ask for more for the price. Cons There is nothing that I dislike about Resource Guru, it provides all the functionality I need in an easy to use interface. December 12, 2024 5.0 I've had a good experience, its helped to provide clarity on projects progress, staff work loads and billable vs non billable hours plus much more. Pros This a great platform for agile planning and programming for my projects and team. Its quick to set up and hit the ground running. I really like the ability to be able to review the utilization stats on the projects and staff, then pull that information over into the timesheets. Many other platforms I've tried get way to bogged down in details, Resource Guru captures all the information you actually need to run your business smoothly. A big positive of this software is its capability to easily integrate with other tools. It helps to easily and remotely track and manage modules, projects and even workflows. Cons It just gets to a point where if the business grows too much, it feels like Resource Guru isn't able to handle it as well as some of the competitors. The Scalability they offer could be better.
