We are setting up a place where we can share information without a lot of setup time. Allowing us to focus on the content and not the membership portion.

Pros

The setup process is assisted with easy to use video instructions on how to set up.

Cons

I haven't used the software long enough to find a con.

Reason for choosing MemberPress

It seemed to be the best solution for the type of membership site we are setting up.

Little expensive for me, as a very small business owner, it hit the wallet hard

Overall I am satisfied with memberpress and the features available.

Pros

The memberpress platform is the only option that I know of for memberships and courses on WordPress. It was easy to get set up. Can be complicated if you are new to WordPress.

Cons

Can be hard to create accounts and linking payment processors. There are many tutorials online to help you get set up.

Pros

I like that the software was easy to use, and that adding to our WordPress website was just as easy. The instructions on what all the Membership had to offer is why we chose it.

Cons

So far we have not had any problems with the software, but will promise that after use of 3 months any problems we will come back and let you know.

Super simple to set-up, with a lot of features. And they have an informative newsletter to inform you about how to get the most out of it.

Memberpress integrates perfectly with WordPress and offers access to a long list to personalize content, such as pages and automatic emails.

Cons

There is no option to adjust the layout of the forms and the account page.

MemberPress, once I spent some time learning the ropes, was a very enjoyable creation experience.

Pros

I enjoyed how easy it was to setup a nice cascading style of topics growing naturally from a single topic.

Cons

Making things look pretty was difficult and not intuitive for a non-WP power user.

I found it easy to setup. Documentation is easy to use. Just had to wrap my head around the subscriptions in order to give access to pages.
