I'll be recommending Memberpress to all my clients who require a membership section of their site. Pros What I liked most was that it includes a robust and powerful payment gateway integration with Stripe and Paypal. Also, setting up the criteria and parameters of memberships is easy and intuitive. Cons When the Stripe integration wasn't working, it was frustrating, but after some discussions with support, we worked out the issue. It is also a bit tricky to show content to Non-members only. You need to use a shortcode before and after the text which was challenging when it came to images etc. Review Source KP Keagan P. They didn't want to spend a lot, being that it was a free model, so this was perfect for their members. Pros It's very easy to set up and install for small businesses that are looking for a membership option and a reasonable price. Pros After trying a lot of different platforms over the years, the ease of moving courses, customizing and making sales is what drove me to purchase. I need robust but simple and MemberPress does exactly what I need. Loved I didn't need to buy anything else to make the transition flawless (where other platforms I've needed to use a different this, or a different that). One and done! Cons Integration cumbersome initially, but my IT guy quickly transitioned and helped. I would have loved a QUICK SET-UP guide or a SET-UP and make a sale within 2 hours. Review Source JW James W. January 6, 2022 4.0 Generally ok, at times it was slow to manage it and the HTML emails it sends are sometimes a little bit hard to set up. The issue we also had was password restart as we wanted to add people to the platform and then send user details but we were unable to do it so we needed to ask them to restart the password. Pros It's easy to install and make the initial setup and it's great if you use it in one language. Cons The multilingual option is available with one plugin so if you don't use it, you are out of luck and need to adjust it to compatibility. Review Source YB Yanique B. Pros I love that I can customize my site myself and have full control. I also like that I don't have to send customers to other sites and pay those fees for hosting my course. Cons There have been little weird kinks like with processing discount codes, but when I contacted MemberPress they were aware of this issue and gave me an easy way around it. Pros There is no better solution for power users when setting up membership sites. Has everything you need for subscriptions and ties into PayPal and Stripe seamlessly. I use it with Learndash to create membership learning areas and it is brilliant. Ties into BuddyPress as well. I enjoyed the slick features too. Pros It integrates seamlessly with wordpress, a lot of cool features, recurring payments etc. The fact that it helps you set up a membership platform while developing content is pretty cool. Cons It has some "buggy" interface. Then I came back and since then I discover and use memberpress with pleasure. I went from the basic version to the basic version to the more version .... and today I use the pro version. all in 6 months !! I created several member areas on several sub-domains I created online courses and challenges Pros what has served me the most so far is the content dripping, the autoresponder and of course the ease of creating member access Cons I need to develop the online course part of my activity. I think that if you develop this aspect, you would be really very very complete in terms of your offer. Pros It is intuitive to set up and so far I didn't run into any Compatability issues, or any issues. It always works. Cons Can't really think of one right now. I think the first time I did set-up, I had a few "where-is it" or "why does it do that" moments, but that is probably partially due to me not wanting to read the documentation.
