Pros MemberPress helped us solve the issue of having multiple clients on one platform working alongside our LMS. With Individual's and corporations using our platform, it was very was to segment each into their own group with specific courses and groups. Cons Real life video examples. May 13, 2021 4.0 Solved the problem of runaway subscription costs because of difficult member management in other membership solutions. Also solved a problem of having multiple memberships for the same account that was not possible in other solution. Pros There are several things I like best but mainly the simplicity of integration with existing Wordpress websites and the flexibility in terms of functionality. The cost is very reasonable compared to other solutions I've tried. Cons Nothing I dislike yet - hoping for continued development of features and continued support! Cons For the conditional display of elements in a page I had to switch the page constructor (WP Bakery) to shortcode view, which is sometimes a pain given the low readibility of the shortcode syntax. I appreciate that MemberPress developers are trying to build a single product to please many people in divergent fields. Cons Not able to add Prefix and Suffix in the Registration page, in proper order with First Name Last Name. This is a big deal, esp to professionals who have worked hard for, and take professional pride in, their title and degree. No Membership Directory -- a really big gap here. I have needed to explain to the (very patient) client that these features are missing. These missing features require me to add a big caveat before I can recommend to other developers. It's easy to implement, simple to maintain, and gets the job done. No regrets. Pros Everything from access rules to coupons to customizing the login form is slick and easy with MemberPress. From a technical standpoint, the integration with Stripe is solid; unlike some membership plugins, MemberPress stores the right information in Stripe instead of using it solely as the payment processor. That's a big advantage when it comes to integrating with other products in conjunction with MemberPress. Cons The cost was the only thing that made me hesitate in going with MemberPress. It's notably easier to set up, to my mind, than the competition. Pros Unlike some of the competition, Memberpress offers most of the basic integrations in the standard configuration. Drip Content is available in the cheapest plan (which isn't all that cheap however, although there always seem to be discounts). LearnDash integration is excellent. Levels and memberships can be set up simultaneously, a much better process than Restrict Content Pro. The setting tabs make setting up memberships easy, better than the competition. Cons Pricey. Very. No lifetime license option, as in Restrict Content Pro.
