Win win! Pros This software streamlines the process of managing donations to non-profits. It takes it out of your inbox and goes to one place where you can quickly approve or decline requests, and you can also search to be matched. Cons I've had almost all positive experiences. On occasion, there are unexpected defaults in the tool. ex: when you reply to a message, the subject line disappears. Not that big of a deal, but a programming tweak would further improve. Renee has been so helpful and accommodated all of our needs. Pros DonationMatch.com has revolutionized the way Navy Pier handles donation requests. We no longer need 12+ hours each month to review and respond to the hundreds of requests we receive. Instead, we’ve been able to streamline the entire process into a once-monthly, 1-hour request review meeting. The option to filter applicants by mission-area and location enables us to direct our giving to organizations whose priorities align with our own. We’re able to courteously direct all requests that come to us by phone or mail to DonationMatch.com. The option to automatically and immediately deliver our donated tickets online saves time and resources for our sales department too. The only thing we regret about our partnership with DonationMatch.com is how long it took us to commit to it. Cons I only wish there were more categories to sort requests by. I have had great customer service whenever I have needed assistance or questions from Renee Zau and her team. I have had great experiences with all of the donors for the 7 times we've used the software. Each time we've used it, we've had an increase in donations provided to our organization so I feel that the businesses who see the work we do and our presence within DonationMatch, may be earning our trust more as well, which is a reflection of this platform. Without this platform, I would not have been able to provide these items most of which are gifts to military and veterans for the holidays. Pros I really love DonationMatch because it is easy to use and it brings hundreds of donors to this one platform. I can find donors for multiple types of events throughout the year with great ease. My fundraising efforts have become streamlined and the time to solicit donations has been reduced greatly since discovering this software in 2016. I highly recommend DonationMatch. Cons At this time, I don't have anything that I've run into to be problematic for our organization. Pros Donationmatch has been a great experience for our small nonprofit. The free trial convinced our manager to commit. It allows for ample customizations, greater connection with supporters and faster thank you and follow responses to each of our campaigns. Cons The price is reasonable for a small organizations, although the cost is per user. I would think the more we grow it may be a bit more costly.
