Pros

Pardot is great for when you want targeted emails for your prospects and the like. Great Salesforce cloud integration is a bonus (after it's been acquired).

Cons

It is not for everyone. If you want to target retail, this is probably not the best Salesforce product for you. You're probably be better off using Marketing Cloud. It has it's place however so best to try it out and see what works for you best.

just ok, wish the integration was better between SFDC and pardot. the emails send directly to our customers junk mail. So tough to change and their customer service is HORRENDOUS. You can't call them to review your issues... only FAQs. What.

It made my life easier with my job because before I had to use Siebel which is a very complicated software.

Pros

Very intuitive pages, I used it to do gas contracts on the phone so I had to be very quick in filling the forms. It suggested me what to write and I could be successful with the client contract.

Cons

It’s very simple and easy to use so it suits for jobs like customer care.

Pros

What I like best about Pardot is it's easy to login. To say I like something the best is misleading. A better way to put it is what I find least terrible. I guess what I find least terrible was it’s somewhat simple to configure connectors.

Cons

Very confusing to work in. It doesn't deliver on it's promise. Interface seems old. Basic ability to create rules within drip campaigns is cumbersome. The vernacular is strange.

Of all the tools available to an overtaxed marketing department to automate website tracking, online forms, digital campaigns requiring custom landing pages and all with integration to NetSuite, Pardot wins my vote for favorite, hands down. Yeah, it's unfortunate that they were purchased by Salesforce.com, arch-rival to NetSuite, but we have seen no drop off in support or customer focus since that time. Highly recommended for its clean, accessible user interface, intuitive workflow and flexibility, as well as service affordability.

Pardot is a good starting point but the flexibility is lacking in certain areas. Often times there is more flexibility required, for example, when creating email templates that one would need to have HTML knowledge to accomplish. The interface is easy on the eyes, so that's a plus. Functionality is often down, in my experience and requires us reaching out to customer service to troubleshoot.

Pros

To succeed in marketing measuring is crucial. Pardot allows marketing managers to see what campaigns and field activities are performing when integrated with Salesforce.

Cons

Some of the entry/ field naming isn't as easy with some integrations as one might like it to be. Always do due diligence when getting new marketing and sales tools and wanting pardot to work with it.

Pros

Due to the transparency we have in our work culture i could talk the marketing team to give this product a try and so far so good. Finding leads has become a pretty vivid job now and scoring criteria based on opening an email or clicks on it the best leads come our way. Focus has increased. Hopefully i get a huge appreciation due to this.

Cons

I am not sure about how the campaigns are gonna be created hence forth (if need be they will find another software for that). But as compared to others, they liked what they saw until now. Not much in negative as of now.

Pros

Pardot has true integration with Salesforce. I love the ability to dynamically see what people in your database are doing in real time. Additionally, Pardot always communicates when new functionality is made available, ensuring you're getting the most out of the system!

Cons

There isn't too much to complain about. Maybe reporting related to your Google Analytics would be a nice feature?

I use Pardot for marketing purposes, including email marketing, landing page, and webinars. So far I find the Pardot platform not user-friendly. The editor platform on Pardot is hard to use, and often I need to tweak the HTML code in order to get the formatting right.

Pros

Integration with SFDC enables a user to generate mailing lists directly on Pardot.

Cons

Unfriendly user interface, terrible connection with other platforms like WebEx, Facebook, etc.

We have the Pardot integration with Salesforce. Our marketing team uploads marketing material into our client base. I'm able to send out selective collateral to specific personal versus just blasting everyone in a customer account. We have different messages so using the Pardot integration makes it easy to send the document to that person as an email versus as an attachment. Our marketing team also sends out by monthly material as well to a define target of clients.

I have worked with the product since 2009 and brought it into 3 different companies. The connection to Salesforce and ability to automate CRM responses make this an effective tool for personalized marketing.

Cons

The on-boarding and ramping process for clients is one of the best I have seen. The client managers are responsive and effective in understanding client needs.

Pardot after its acquisition has a lot of really good features. Obviously, its Salesforce integration is solid and the UI is fresh and clean unlike Marketo. It is very easy to configure and users get a seamless experience specially they see most of the data within Salesforce.

Pros

The UI is intuitive and user friendly Great things in its roadmap Since acquired by Salesforce, the support received is great

Cons

May not work well with too much lead data. Connect with your rep on its limitations. Internal reporting and dashboards arent that extensive. Integration with internal website.

Overall excellent.

Pros

Way more than just email. Pardot is a full force marketing automation tool. Everything from page tracking to form building to file downloads, It is by far the easiest to use tool I've experienced. In addition to the above, it's an excellent email tool, complete with record assignment, auto responder, integration capabilities.

Cons

Too frequently there is system down time that impacts message sending and performance. To date, this has been simply in convenient and has not crippled any critical operation.
