Cons

Pros

I use Pardot in a variety of ways - to send emails, create custom URLs and track lead sources, to view lead info on AdWords performance, to create lead capture forms for our website, etc. In all aspects, the software is easy to use and has the functionality my team needs. Its integration with Salesforce is especially helpful for our lead gen efforts.

Cons

Nothing. I've also used Marketo as a marketing automation software and I think Pardot is more intuitive to use and has better functionality.

Pros

Integration between Salesforce (campaigns, leads and contacts ) and pardot is easily manageable and does not require coding skills. Could be easily learned by administrators.

Cons

There is some weird limitations of pardot. The biggest one being, you can't map formula fields between Salesforce and pardot.

I've helped clients create and implement campaigns onto their websites. When logging into the back-end of Pardot it is jarring at first and hard to navigate. I also have to implement the basic HTML code onto sites for my clients and finding the code is hard to find/navigate.

Pros

That it has the ability to create campaigns.

Cons

Creating campaigns can be a little confusing, and difficult for when you need to implement any web forms digitally.

Great addition to Salesforce, Salesforce can exist without it but it certainly makes it better.

Pros

Salesforce is the powerhouse of all CRMs and Pardot makes it even better. It was clearly developed by someone who knew how its possible to squeeze more value out of your Salesforce connection. It has some way to go in terms of user functionality but its pretty great.

Cons

The features need to be easier to find when you are browsing options. Perhaps its a little easier for people who use this more often, or it can be developed personally similar to how Salesforce can be adapted per business, and that perhaps makes it better.

Not bad. A decent middle ground between Hubspot and Marketo.

Pros

It has a very pretty interface, and can do the marketing automation basics. It's a small step up from Hubspot and the tight integration to Salesforce is nice.

Cons

It doesn't quite have the complex functionality of Marketo in terms of being able to process and manipulate data. Can't quite lead nurture in as complex ways.

Pros

Nothing exciting - basic functionality. I'm not impressed.

Cons

I was sold on the Salesforce integration but in actually there are other products that are not owned by Salesforce that have a better integration. Connector breaks all the time. You reverify, and there is no live support number to call for quick support. The email marketing system is also a bit antiquated doesn't offer easy drag and drop features, CSS buttons, inbox previews or RSS to email - leaves much to be desired. Social media feature is very weak at best, no social monitoring for tracking prospects and customers just a basic scheduling feature. Dynamic lists are not that dynamic; neither is the automation or updates. Their system can handle at best batch updates instead of instant updates like other systems. Forms load in iframes, not javascript, so it doesn't always load cohesively with your web page. There is no easy way to segment visitors to only view companies that fit in your target range.

Pros

The reputation level of Pardot is the highest among any marketing automation software we have tried, so our deliverability rates are excellent. Also, the data and business intelligence Pardot makes available is far and away the best we have seen anywhere. It is extremely helpful and makes it possible to refine our marketing to specifically target segments of our audience.

Cons

Having a background working with salesforce, the upload and attributes search functions are not quite to the capability of salesforce, but that may be something improved within Pardot down the road, to make it function even more like salesforce.

I like that I am able to customize a different layout templates to fit whatever needs we have. I can make a landing page look however we want!

Cons

This platform requires coding knowledge in order to make it fully customizable. This is not a problem for me personally, but it limits those who can use it.

I love how Pardot syncs directly with SalesForce and allows for any organization you can imagine.

Cons

I run into a lot of issues not because Pardot is a bad tool, but because I do so much with Pardot that I have very high expectations of how quickly or seamlessly something should work. In these cases, I wish Pardot Support was easier for me to contact. Open cases seem to have been removed from the website and I'm not often using Pardot during live chat hours.

Easy of use, features, online learning tools, very little knowledge of HTML is need to create email campaigns.

Cons

Forms are not as flexible as I would like. Landing pages are semi complicated to build. Event module difficult to use.

What you can do with Pardot is great from a marketing automation stand point. However, from a user interface, it needs some work. The interface can drive you crazy. They need to take a note from Mailchimp and learn how to make a good email building platform. If they could get that right they would be an amazing platform.

very mixed experience with this platform, a lot of 'not perfect' features and integration with salesforce that makes the tool a little clunky, reporting is really appaling, unless you get the B2B analytics package/upgrade but even then the creation of dashboard and analytics is not something anyone can do

The good thing is the integration with Salesforce on one side and many other applications that can link pretty well via API, it has a familiar feel to it if you are SFDC user. The email capabilities, nurture journeys etc are great features to implement

Cons

It's not as easy to integrate as you'd think even if it's also a Salesforce tool, the integration is painful, complicated and really messy when you look at the data and prospects interactions, scoring (out of box) so on and so forth

Pardot's (obvious) integration with Salesforce has made the marketing team's job 100-percent easier when using the software as Salesforce is our CRM.

There is no way to create originally blog content or pages through Pardot, which seems like a missed opportunity when it comes to organic search.
