I like how easy it was to setup an email campaign and to view metrics/successes of past campaigns

Cons

While I love this product, I'm not a fan of the other B2B tools that Salesforce has - so I wish Pardot could be easily integrated with tools from other providers like Google or Adobe

Really helped us maximize our SF investment by deploying Pardot company-wide into Sales Ops, Accounts Receivable, Project Management, and more. We used Pardot and Sales Cloud to create EZ-AR™ an automated AR service that requests invoices until they are paid, cutting DSO up to 50%.

Pros

Sync to Salesforce - unlike no other Marketing Automation System. Ease of use and navigation. Easy campaign management

Cons

Honestly, nothing really to complain about here. There are small bugs here and there, but that comes with every system and I have seen those same bugs and more in other MAS.

Overall this is such an easy product to learn that I can train a new user in all of 20 min!

Pros

The best thing about Pardot for me is ease of use. I've used it daily for both drip campaigns and for one-off follow-up emails. I love that I can create a new contact and send a follow up email in less than a minute and be on to my next phone call.

Cons

The search functionality is not nearly as robust as it should be - many time a contact exists in the database but Pardot doesn't find a match until the user tries to create a new record.

Pardot as an automation tool has been super beneficial for our company. The support team is sometimes slow to respond, but I recommend this product.

Pros

I like the segmentation, engagement studio, and dynamic lists the most. Pardot allows us to customize what paths we want users to go down based on triggers. Highly recommend Pardot.

Cons

There are a few features that have been on the recommendation board for a while that should have been implemented by now, but the Pardot team can be slow to implement obviously needed updates to the features.

Pros

Pardot integrates seamlessly with Saleforce, so if you are using Salesforce for your CRM, this system will work well for you. The software in general is good, and the email building is superior to anything else I have used, however, the functionality is limited compared to other marketing automation software, and the price is similar.

Cons

Pardot does not have a robust blogging platform that tracks your key word rankings like other marketing automation software of similiar cost. In addition, it does not optimize email sending times and days based on your past performance. And there is no social media integration.

I needed aArdot to create marketing automation to increase my business. The challenge was its complexity an non obvious interface for a business user. I always had to rely on an expensive technical person to do anything.

Pros

The easy integration into Salesforce fields.

Cons

Very hard to use. I needed a special technical person to configure the smallest campaigns and it took them a long time to do so.

We use it for normal automation of marketing processes. We use it for tracking the prospects coming from our websites. We use it for campaign management and for email marketing.

Pros

Being a product of Salesforce it is highly customisable as their other products. It's a perfect add on to the marketing cloud to help manage the campaigns, email marketing etc. There are many event based triggers which one can utilize which could ensure better response times and lead conversion.

Cons

The setup was a little confusing as first even when I have worked as a developer for Salesforce applications. Syncing with Salesforce was a bit tricky and took me some time.

Great UX and UI, which makes it easy and simple to navigate and find the information I want. Good management features. Love how it integrates with Salesforce.

Pros

Pardot it's easy to use and it's very intuitive software. It integrates seamlessly with Salesforce, which makes it a really good addition. I like how customizable it is and the visualization options it offers. In addition, the set of features is great.

Cons

Since I've been using this software for less than 6 months, I don't have anything I would ask the developers to improve. It has been serving me well, meeting my expectations. Maybe offer more than 10,000 leads for that pricing range would be nice.

Pardot is an excellent B2B software that integrates seamlessly with Salesforce. We use Pardot for countless client to send email blasts manually and automatically, send both one-one and list emails, and setup form handlers on websites that track immediately into Pardot and Salesforce. It is a valuable tool to have for marketing efforts, especially when using Salesforce!

Pros

I love its integrations with Salesforce, the ability to access from the Salesforce interface, and the ease of use!

Cons

I don't really have any cons at the moment.

### "Generally excellent and easy to use although reporting needs improving"

A simple to use but powerful marketing automation tool. Easy to follow drip campaign functionality. Automation rules have a lot of power (although one annoying issue as listed below).

Pros

The Pardot for outlook and lead deck apps are fantastic and really powerful.

Cons

Reporting is fairly basic and hard to get much depth The sync with Salesforce could definitely be faster. The lead database is generally fine but hard to do the occasional manual updates you might want to do, i.e. quickly select a few leads and add them to a campaign without having to create a whole automation rule. Automation rules can't be rerun - they have to be cloned and recreated which is fairly stupid.

Pros

I like the attribution and integration with Salesforce. It gives powerful insights across campaigns and ties it to individual contacts in Salesforce.

Cons

It's interface is super hard to use. For a small marketing team of 4, it became a burden. We were spending a lot of time to find even simple functionalities like landing page creation. It was frustrating to the point of us cancelling the account sometimes.

Pros

Total visibility over user journeys, simple templating, full customisation and more - Pardot is a software power tool. Drip campaigns are customisable to an extent that I've not fully tapped into, and it syncs so easily with our advertising data.

Cons

Can be bulky and hard to manoeuvre - setup and implementation can either take time or cost a lot - beware Salesforce partners, their fees are extortionate.

Solid tool, transitioned from Marketo which was a much more robust system. I liked the simplicity of Pardot but the UI wasn't my favorite.

Pros

I liked how well it played with SFDC, however my company wasn't using SFDC alot so I didn't quite benefit from that. I liked that it was a straightforward UI and set up.

Cons

Can be a bit basic, hard to customize things without development experience. Seems more fitting for enterprise companies.

As Salesforce users, it made sense for us to move from HubSpot to Pardot for relatively the same amount of money. We used the basic email tools and integrations with Salesforce, but nothing more. The tool was too robust for what we needed it for and how we used it. We ended up moving to Iterable.

Pros

Easily integrated with Salesforce. Had templates. Tracks the information you need to qualify leads.

Cons

Contracts are too long. Costs way too much for what most users need. Email templates weren't attractive and no always mobile responsive.

Software is great, especially if you are using Salesforce already. The software is very simple to use, though can lack on some advanced features. Creating automated drip campaigns have done wonders for our sales cycle.

Pros

The integrations with Salesforce though, were the biggest seller for this product. Having something easily communicate with our CRM is sometimes a difficult task and was able to do this all myself with the help onboarding partner. Support seems to be average in getting back in time and helping problem solve.

Cons

Price feels a little expensive compared to other solutions but that is what you get for when you want a product that just just works.

Pros

Undoubtedly the main thing attracting us to Pardot is its integration with Salesforce. Pardot also has pretty solid customizability options (e.g., for forms). It is easy enough to use and to make sense of (at least at a basic level) without the need of external agencies, etc.

Cons

Pardot's reporting is pretty frustrating. We were able to run some relevant aggregate-level reporting out of Salesforce, but finer-level detail was more difficult to integrate into our warehouse in an automated sort of way. The UI feels frustrating, too, but that may just be personal preference.

Purely its relationship to Salesforce, which we were already using.

I like that there is a strong integration between Pardot and Salesforce.

Cons

I do not like how there is lots of tedious work that is required for the majority of programs through having to clone forms and limitations that the lead scoring system poses.

Confirmation that we were using the wrong product, and to choose any other marketing software.

Pros

Salesforce obviously saw something in Pardot, and bought it for good reason. The bones of a great product are there, and there are some great, easy to use features for new companies with no prior marketing experience.

Cons

Salesforce seems to have forgotten about Pardot. They've updated the interface slightly, but have done the bare minimum to integrate it with the rest of the Salesforce platform. Support is lacklustre at best, often times giving nonsensical or incorrect answers.
