I had no knowledge of how to set up an event on TicketSource and was a bit apprehensive. As it turned out, I had little difficulty. The only slight criticism I have is that the set up screens didn't clearly define what a 'section' was - a few more words to explain that this is how you define differential seating/ticket pricing etc wouldn't be amiss.

First time use for us. Really good personal technical support. Don't change it!! We had been looking for this type of service for some time. One are that could be better is the pre-population of the database with member data. This is a small point overall

This is by far the easiest way to have a professional box office. Very easy to set up. There is always some one on the other end of the phone or email to talk you through any problems you are having. Very very good reasonable prices which you can add into your ticket or not. Overall, I am so pleased that we chose ticket source, it has made our life so much easier and our small theater look and feel so much more professional.

Excellent customer service, great product.

Pros

very easy to set up! Even for me who is a bit of a technophobe

Cons

Not always obvious how to change settings. Eg. I wanted to change the time that sales could run to - couldn't find it on the evening of my event, so may have lost sales.

We have used TS for two years now and despite our administrators being well retired and our seating in a very old church being very complicated with help from the service team it's all been a piece of cake!!! We'd like it to be cheaper but we certainly wouldnt be without it now.

We've been using ticketsource for 5 years or more and although I review alternative services often, I can't find anything better out there. I would even recommend it for professional organisations but certainly for amateur theatre groups like us and several similar groups in the area use it on my recommendation.

This is a great site to promote and sell your tickets. It is easy to set up and instinctive to use. Customer service is second to none. They pay very quickly after your show has finished straight to the nominated bank account. Very highly recommended

Volunteer Box Office staff have found the system easy & intuitive to use for bookings and administrators have found the functionality equally intuitive. And it's free!

The great thing is that you get to speak to someone who really understands the product and I have yet to have an unanswered question. Everyone without fail is helpful and friendly and immediately understand your needs. I would not hesitate to recommend Ticket Source!

We tried two other systems at our Box Office, and this is much the best. We would unhesitatingly recommend it to any theatre, for ease of use and for customer service. In every way it is a user-friendly service, quick to learn for a new recruit and with staff always ready to help when one needs it. I cannot praise the staff and system too highly!

We do not sell a large number of tickets for our film club through the web but have found Ticket Source to be very useful for the members of the film club who want an online purchase. Reports are very efficient and timely to track sales. The website was quite easy to set everything up with a little bit of guidance from helpful staff there.

Overall, TicketSource is a great service and prefer it over others I have tried. My only niggle so far is that building a seating plan takes a long time to do, either because I am not doing it right, but I suspect because it is not as intuitive as it could be.
