## What is Slack?

Slack is where work happens for millions of people everyday. Slack transforms how work happens by bringing AI and automation to where people are already collaborating. Go from chatting with your teams to chatting with apps and data. Break down siloed data through Slack's searchable channel architecture, allowing your teams and AI to access your organization's knowledge. Teams work together in context when CRM data, project management, and people all come together to solve problems and make decisions. Teams can talk to each other and their AI agent in conversational language, allowing them to access each other and information seamlessly. Slack AI recaps channels and summarizes threads so that employees can jump into discussion quickly, whether they are new to a project or catching up after being away. Enterprise applications can easily be integrated and shared in channel and direct message, giving a snapshot of context and the opportunity to collaborate on the spot.

### "Convenient Communication with Reliable Escalation Tracking"

5.0

November 7, 2026

I use Slack for internal escalations and can keep track of them, which is very helpful for us.

Pros

I like that I can keep track of conversations, save them, and access them on my phone. I can choose which notifications and groups are important, and turn off notifications for groups I don’t need. Slack is helpful for tracking internal escalations, and I find it more convenient than Hangouts. Logging in and accessing Slack was easy, too.

### "Intuitive Account Switching and Faster Chats, but Invitations Can Be Tricky"

4.5

November 7, 2026

I use Slack to communicate with my clients much faster than email alone.

Pros

I use Slack to communicate with my clients, and it helps me communicate much faster than email alone. I enjoy the interface and how easy it is to switch between accounts. I like seeing my different accounts on the left side of the screen, with the chats I participate in next to them.

Cons

I find it challenging to add new accounts after getting an email invitation from a client. The verification process doesn't always work, so I typically have to ask the client to resend the invite.

5.0

November 7, 2026

Slack improves team communication, helping me stay organized, resolve issues quickly and work.

Pros

The platform helped me to connect and speak with my partners or colleagues about the projects and have known the specs through the slack. And I recommend that people who are working remotely slack is the best platform.

Cons

Messages from authors was taking too long time to get posted.

### "Slack Keeps Team Communication Organized and Easy Across Time Zones"

5.0

November 7, 2026

Slack makes it much easier to stay connected and coordinate projects with teammates who are remote or spread across different time zones. Rather than going back and forth over email, we can share updates, ask questions, and make decisions faster in one place. It saves time overall and helps everyone stay aligned and on the same page.

Pros

I like how Slack keeps everything organized without making communication feel complicated. It’s especially helpful when I’m working with people across different teams and time zones. I can follow conversations easily, share files, and stay on top of project updates without having to dig through endless email threads.

Cons

Slack can feel a bit overwhelming when multiple channels are active at the same time. Important messages can sometimes get lost in the flow of conversation, and the steady stream of notifications can be distracting—especially when I’m trying to stay focused on other tasks.

### "Quick Team Communication with Organized Channels"

4.5

November 6, 2026

We have to communicate a lot during the day between staff and doctors and nurses and slack makes that communication faster and allows for less mistakes. Integrating it into our communications between doctor and nurse was especially helpful. Front staff had been using it for years, but havin the doctors able to reach the nurses quickly saved everyone time. It keeps all orders written down and saves us mistakes from using verbal orders in stead.

Pros

Quick easy communication between team members in different offices. I like having different channels for different things so staff is only seeing what is pertinent to them

Cons

I wish the HIPAA compliant portion was not an add on and was automatic. We would use Slack for a lot more daily communication with doctors if it wasn't a paid add on.

### "Great project management tool for quick tasks"

5.0

November 6, 2026

It allows me to customize boards and groups for project management and create a summary dashboard of all projects

Pros

I like it provides a clean and intuitive interface that makes project tracking and cross team collaboration very easy and how it is to create updates and share documentation with developers, analysts and other stakeholders.

Cons

It's a little bit difficult to learn how to use it at first otherwise it allows me to assign dates and tasks to other team members as well as private projects.

I use Slack instant messaging to communicate with colleagues making it super easy to collaborate with my team efficiently across various time zones.

Pros

It provides channels that make it easy to communicate in large groups and the reliable direct messaging allows me to chat with colleagues in real-time.

Cons

The only thing I would suggest is them investing a little more resources into their mobile version of the app.
