### "An easy way to coordinate work and collaborate with teammates"

December 19, 2025

5.0

The interface was easy to use, notifications were effective, and the messaging system kept me informed without disrupting the flow of work.

Pros

The interface is well organized to help you keep track of teammates, priorities, and all your messages. Whether working remotely or in the same office, it helps streamline communications.

Cons

There were no real downsides to speak of - it was intuitive to use and quickly became an indispensable part of teamwork.

### "Outstanding collaboration that every organisation should use to increase engagement…"

November 1, 2025

5.0

An excellent collaboration platform that has increased internal staff communications and engagement and one that allows us to communication with our clients. Excellent for team IMs and quick video calls and one I would recommend any organisation to use.

Pros

The leading instant messaging platform globally that combines chat, file sharing, video calling as a collaboration tool with hundreds of APIs with other corporate platforms. A slick and easy to use platform that provides a huge value for money for the features it provides.

Cons

The customer support service can be very stringent. I have required assistance with a subject access request but only the primary owner of a workspace can approve that even though I am an administrator. I feel there should be a secondary or tertiary owner who has similar levels of access which could be an area of improvement for Slack.

### "Slack User or Life"

September 9, 2025

5.0

Slack has been a fantastic tool. It is definitely my preferred group communication tool and has been since I started using it in college.

Pros

I have used Slack with multiple companies and businesses and have loved the ease of use. It creates seamless outreach options for those in your organization without having to share your personal telephone number. We also frequently use the huddle meeting feature. Being on a team of 75% remote employees, slack makes it easy to work as a team. It makes it easy to see who is scheduled for meetings, who has read messages, and creates a shared file storage space.

Cons

I wish it was easier to search messages for specific key words to find information that the team has shared without know exactly when it was shared.

Slack was fairly new when I first became a user. It was immediately apparent that Slack worked much better for my working process than other options I had tried previously.

### "Slack is the ultimate team communication tool"

May 6, 2026

5.0

Every aspect of helping with communication amongst our teams is amazing. It is helpful when you need to get on a quick call with a team member to chat versus talking in a thread. The Huddle feature allows for a quick face to face and it’s great!

Pros

Slacks ease of use is amazing and I love that we can creat channels for certain projects and include the employees that are involved for seamless communication.

Cons

I wish there was an easier way to find previous comments or mentions in a chat or thread. Being able to save certain conversations for yourself in a separate folder or location that is just for your reference would be helpful.

### "Communication made easy with Slack"

September 18, 2025

5.0

My overall experience using Slack is 10 out of 10. It truly helps communicating with my colleagues super smooth. Also, a very user friendly interface. Very easy to use.

Pros

What I like most about Slack is that it is super organized specially in communicating withother departments in our workplace. It really helps a lot in our productivity and collaboration.

Cons

None so far. Sack was one of our main tool in communicating to help resolve our guests concern and inquiry. It is a powerful tool that keeps everyone aligned and updated because we can easily communicate throught it.

### "Highly recommend 5 stars"

September 15, 2025

5.0

Our overall experience with Slack has been most positive. We use it daily with programmers, tech support, customer service associates and our administrative departments. Slack keeps everyone in the loop daily. We find it highly valuable and easy to use.

Pros

Slack is very easy to use. We like that you can include just certain people in a chat and not the whole company when needed. It has a great array of notification sounds so you can customize what works for you. File sharing with Slack is very easy to use when sharing and downloading. You can also share pictures as well.

Cons

We have not found any Cons regarding Slack at this time. It works very well for our business needs.

### "Slack Workflow "

April 10, 2026

5.0

Pretty good experience with it, it's pay-per-user pricing limits it to small to medium enterprises only.

Pros

Ease to use, good quality video and voice calls, a lot of theme options with file sharing make it a breeze in the workplace

Cons

The biggest issue is the always-on green light, the active status, that builds the pressure to reply instantly.

### "Slack is the workplace software anything else is subpar"

April 2, 2026

5.0

Pros

The whole digital workplace experience is what I like most about slack. Chatting, huddling, integration with about every productivity software we use, the emojis and the message notification sound.

Cons

There is nothing to dislike about slack. I believe the developers' team didn't spare an effort to perfect the user experience of the platfom.

### "Connects the Dots"

November 17, 2025

4.0

Slack connects all my day-day operations it’s so much less clunky than teams and more user friendly.

Pros

Ease, responsiveness and most importantly the integrations into all other technologies needed to communicate and action in one place.

Cons

Slacks core functionality remains the same but hasn’t really been a lot innovation or development in recent years which I’ve found make an impact.

### "An app that helps you find balance between your work and personal life."

September 4, 2025

5.0

All in all It’s great. It’s really helps preventing people from utilizing their personal phones for work related communication.

Pros

It makes being able to document things in our store channel and then being able to look back at it for reference. It’s so easy to keep all work related communication through one channel rather than having to look through messages on my personal phone.

Cons

The interface wasn’t too user friendly. It was difficult doing simple tasks like just adding users to channels.

### "Slack Ain't Slackin'- It's A Modern Platform For Internal Comms"

February 25, 2026

5.0

Awesome experience- I use it every day. I've been using it for almost a decade across multiple roles in multiple organizations.

Pros

Slack is an easy way to communicate internally as well as with external partners. I appreciate how you can tie Slack to Salesforce to receive notifications. We have a new deal won alert, so delivery knows what has recently closed. It's super helpful. The UX is also really friendly on your eyes.

Cons

I can't think of anything I don't like. Slack is our preferred method of internal communication and I've used it across multiple roles.

### "Superb tool for internal communication"

August 21, 2025

5.0

I absolutely love Slack, and always tried to help my coworkers too, to make sure they get the best use of it too.

Pros

Almost everything! Slack is easy to use, it's now the 3rd company I work for that uses it for internal communication. Love that it has a mobile app too, so I can be in the loop even if I am away from my computer or on holiday but need to check on some work stuff. Channels are easy to set up and managed. It's nothing to do with work, but I love that it's customisable, be it the colour theme of the app, or the most used emojis to the notification settings.

Cons

It can be a little overwhelming for some who is new to Slack, threads can be easily lost, at least this was what I saw most with coworkers who never used Slack before. especially if someone was tagged in a post in a channel that has lots of traffic, the mention most times were missed, because it was not in threads and if you didn't go through all the past communication of that channel, your mention was missed.

### "Slack is a great way to stay in touch daily "

March 2, 2026

5.0

I highly value using Slack every day. I have used it for both personal communication (through the pandemic and now) and work communication (at a previous job) and it's a great way to stay in touch with others on various topics that are easily searched.

Pros

Setting up separate channels based on specific topics is a huge feature of slack. Being able to search within a channel based on topic makes finding previous discussions much easier.

Cons

There are a few features that could be improved by Slack (and I believe Slack is working on those with new AI features). It can be hard to note who responded, and I personally do not love threads - it's another click through that needs to happen.

### "Good tool, but sometimes try to do too much"

August 28, 2025

4.0

Overall, slack is okay. I still believe that slack can focus on what they do rather than doing so much at the same time. One important thing to note is that slack separates different workspace very well, and this create its own set of problems. You have the very nice experience of being able to step "out" of a workspace and go to another workspace for another discussion. However, for people like me who really like to view two workspace at the same time it is cumbersome

Pros

I really like threading inside slack, communication feels easy and organized, I can also bookmark chats and create different channels.

Cons

Sometimes I feel like slack is trying to do too much. Huddle seems like a distraction because it cannot handle the multi user call like Microsoft Teams. File sharing is also quite limiting (lots of limit on how big the file can be). I have never used its calendar since we already have microsoft 365.

### "Essential for Fast-Paced Team Communication"

January 26, 2026

4.0

Slack has transformed how our team communicates—reducing response time, boosting transparency, and increasing cross-functional visibility. With the right structure and etiquette, it’s a game-changer for productivity and culture.

Pros

Slack excels at creating real-time, organized team communication. Channels, threads, and app integrations make it easy to collaborate without endless emails. Features like Slackbot, reminders, and huddles help streamline internal ops and foster a fast, async-friendly culture.

Cons

As teams scale, Slack can become noisy and distracting without strict channel discipline. Important messages can get buried quickly, and there’s a learning curve to using threads properly to avoid chaos.

### "Custom emoji's make it fun"

May 14, 2026

5.0

Generally great - it allows for fully remote work across a diverse team, and its intergration with things like Jira and Hubspot are actually genuinely useful. Even just how links are expanded into previews is a solid win for the app.

Pros

Honestly the custom emojis. Being able to create custom emojis, especially as a remote staff member, allows for consistent engagement in the culture of our workplace.

Cons

This is more about managing slack; essentially its very easy to end up in too many channels - but then you dont want to miss the updates. I dont think this is handled very well - you are either in the them all, or you miss out. A tidier sidebar would be appreciated

### "Great for Communication, Needs Better Organization"

August 18, 2025

4.0

Overall, Slack is very nice and well organized for day-to-day communication. It makes collaboration much easier, but I wish it offered more ways to organize channels and keep things tidy long term.

Pros

Slack makes it really easy to stay in touch with my teammates. I like being able to send direct messages quickly, and team communication feels smooth and natural. I also enjoy reading channels about fun things happening with coworkers (like the book-club channel) and keeping up with company-wide updates in the general channels.

Cons

I can’t archive channels I don’t use anymore in a way that makes them easily accessible later. It would also be helpful to have more structure, like subfolders or directories, to keep everything organized.

### "Slack Overwhelming Performance "

February 11, 2026

5.0

Slack is better than Asana as far as I have used Slack. It is well organized and it has a user-friendly interface making my stay pleasant.

Pros

Slack makes team communication easy and fast. I can create channels for different topics or projects, which keeps everything organized. It also connects with other apps like Google Drive and Zoom, so work is all in one place. I store files with Slack and they are kept safe.

Cons

The notifications are too many at sometimes and they become overwhelming by time making me irritated.

### "Slack - communicate with your team"

December 7, 2025

3.0

Slack is a communication tool for messaging your team; allowing you to discuss projects, share files, pre-record audio or videos amongst other features.

Pros

We were able to integrate our TrackVia account with Slack through Workato integrations, which allowed a discussion to start in a specific channel when a record was updated or added into a view in TrackVia. You can also start a ‘huddle’ within that channel and have a video or audio conference with the channel members.

Cons

The free subscription of slack lacks customer support, you can only access the Slack Help Center for troubleshooting issues.

### "An Essential Tool for Modern Team Collaboration"

November 12, 2025

5.0

Overall, Slack has become an essential part of how my team collaborates. It keeps everyone connected whether we’re in the office or working remotely. The ability to quickly share files, schedule huddles, and track project updates makes teamwork much smoother. Despite minor drawbacks, it’s one of the best communication tools available.

Pros

Slack makes communication within teams fast and efficient. I love how easy it is to organize conversations using channels, threads, and direct messages. The integrations with other tools (like Google Drive, Zoom, and Trello) save a lot of time. The search feature is powerful, and notifications are customizable to avoid distractions.

Cons

Sometimes Slack can feel overwhelming if there are too many active channels and notifications. It’s also a bit resource-heavy — it can slow down when running alongside other apps. The pricing for premium features might be high for smaller teams.

Pros

Its design: it's very attractive, user-friendly and sleek. I love the way it's organized per chats/tags, the fact that you can have calls on it as well and the integration with multiple platforms such as Google Drive and more.

Cons

Not all of its features are easy to understand. It's actually quite hard to figure out how it works at first because it's layered, but once you get the hang of it you realize it's very user friendly

Pros

Slack keeps everything organized through channels and threads, and the integrations with other tools like Google Drive and Jira make collaboration seamless. The overall experience is smooth across desktop and mobile.
