Never have issues with bugs - always runs fast and does what its supposed to do. Pros is the best of the communication softwares for work teams in my opinion. The design is really sleek, we rarely ever experience bugs or issues, messaging and creating group chats is easy and seamless, and scheduling meetings is also straightforward. Whenever I use any other softwares for this, I end up missing Slack. Cons Some of the features are a little annoying, like the prompts from Slackbot to intergrate other programmes whenever you share a file involving them. Pros The ability to collaborate instantly with people inside and outside the organisation. Immediate answers are critical for us! Cons The UI of the desktp app is very hard to navigate compare to the mobile app. Someextra highlighting, font change or anything to show a grouping of channels would make life a lot easier. Many times I have to really search to find a channel. Cons I hate the notification overload when the shift is very busy and at times, there are bugs which makes me revisit the messages twice so that I am not missing anything important. Locating past chats is also easy since it has a reliable search feature. It is very unlikely to have issues but on the rare instances that it has, customer support is very easy to contact. Cons is integrated with certain apps such as opening polls. Responses to such polls are limited to a specific number of responses. The interface is just so much better then other business communication tools out there. Pros really does put all other standalone work communication platforms to shame. It's quite easy to figure out the first time you use it, and it's useful for both one-to-one conversations and large group threads. Cons Honestly, other than the pricing being a bit steep for tiny teams, there isn't really anything I don't like about it. I do believe they have a paid version that allows you to go back and look at messages from an unlimited time frame. The free version does limit how far back you can look on conversations. This is a great alternative to keep on your computers so you do not have team members texting on their phone. I also like the notification sound as it's distinct and I know when my phone goes off that it's of importance. I like being able to react to someone's message with any emoji. My most used and appreciated feature is probably being able to forward others' messages to myself for later. Cons I'm not sure when this was implemented or if I just never noticed before, but I'm not a fan of messages past being put behind a paywall to access. It would be nice to be able to see things from a long time ago that may be important to my work. Always easy to use. Pros is very easy to use. The app and the desktop version are very alike so there are no bugs with that. The connection with Google drive makes file sharing easy and quick notifications. I really like that you can set yourself as away easily. Chatting with coworkers is simple and I also like that you can have topics. The search option is VERY useful. Cons That the app can have bugs and you have to use the website version sometimes. Cons If you don’t have premium it deletes your messages after 90 days and the notification system is not always consistent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
