Pros

Cloud is nice but there are better working software's with cloud

Cons

Very complicated. New accounts, setting up with QuickBooks, inventory, working properly but the worst is there tech support! Horrible. I give up after 2 years with a retail company. I'm going somewhere else. Waste of money. And did I say tech support??? Worst ever..........

Pros

Revel System features a slick Point of Sale system. I am able to use many different payment types and works with Samsung Pay without NFC technology.

Cons

I would like to see more integration with different software we use. It's not easy to export some of the information to connect different data.

We recently switched to the Revel system from an older POS. While there was a slight learning curve for our employees it was very slight and has run smooth. Since installing Revel the amount of information garnered from the system has already begun to transform our business for the better. I would highly recommend Revel to anyone that is looking for quality software that will bring them to the next level in their retail establishment.

Pros

Ease of use, back office software, Cloud based.

Cons

Many items for retail are not turned on immediately.

Pros

Easy to use, easy to program, great customer service.

Cons

software is buggy. It seems like the product team is OK to push new releases before they are tested. Software updates regularly changes settings to default and with no warning. Bad handling of a bug-fix issue with Gift Certificate bug that is still not resolved.

Pros

The Revel POS has all the features my business needs to run my shop and I just love how easy it is to run it. My last Point of Sale took us 2 weeks to learn and Revel was learned by all staff in the first morning . Simple yet powerful. I have 4 systems and running strong thanks you!

Cons

It is more exp. then others in the market but again the only one that works with my business needs.

Great program, makes ordering so much easier, and it has a really nice interface that's clear and modern.

Cons

The minimal interface makes it hard to get to some of the deeper functionality of the program sometimes

I would highly recommend Revel to other businesses. The only negatives are the steep learning curve and the monthly costs.

Pros

The entire system is very intuitive and easy to learn. I've had to call many times in order to understand the system, and my questions were always answered.

Cons

There are so many features available, it's very easy to get lost in the amount of things you need to learn. It's a very steep learning curve.

It’s way easier to use than a regular box cash register and eases the headaches of customer complains, mistakes, and returns!

Pros

It’s versatility, there’s no order we can’t create for the customer, even when they change their mind halfway.

Cons

It limits me with Mass texting but to be fair many others do as well, however at least you have the option of texting their receipt and inputing five star rewards program

Pros

Multiple levels of POS customization on the front and back end. In addition, there are multiple levels of support for the company. They truly care about your business.

Cons

Inventory app requires three employees for Cycle counts. As a small business owner it would be nice if I could upload my current inventory counts and conduct Cycle counts without having three rolls assigned.

a learned lesson

Cons

no way to do lottery, i bought the system just before xmas, week to get it and by the time i figured it out and found out it really wont work for lottery payouts my 30 days was up. no return, no refund, they want a cancellation fee (good luck) support wasnt very helpfull, they suggested a few patchs but i dont think they actuaally tried them really pissed off about now, my own fault for not asking that question but I told them i was a cstore.

The functions and features were the best but the pricing for this software is outrageous. There are other competitors that were better priced.

Cons

The pricing was what I least liked about this software. It's great but there are other competitors with better prices.

Pros

We like how you can really tailor it to your business. We run a bar and bottle shop, and can sell by using an ingredient or a product. The reporting is pretty extensive. The timekeeping and scheduling keep everything in one place.

Cons

The backend takes a bit of a learning curve. It will take some time to learn how to operate and get used to he format.

Very intuitive and simple to use. We like the reporting on the back end too. The system it self is very sleek and small.

Cons

A little on the expensive side for a small mom and pop company when you pay the month lease option.

Pros

There is nothing to like. I will reiterate, there was nothing about our experience with this company that can be spoken of in a positive manner.

Cons

The functionality is a joke. It lacks so many basic features required to set up a retail pos, it's not even funny. It doesn't even have a margins/mark up calculator, which is basic in all systems. It is heavily based on the use of excel, while the system itself is dysfunctional on its own.

Overall an excellent priduct for a small to medium size business.

Pros

I have had nothing but great experiences when dealing with this product. Very easy to use and understand.

Cons

It’s a little bit cumbersome to print shelf tag labels. Label printer works great (additional purchase) but there’s a lot of clicks to make it work.

There are a lot of tracking options that are very helpful.

What we dislike the most is this is a small screen. We want a large screen.

This is a good product for retail sales and the lesson over the phone are very helpful. When I had any questions after the lessons given, I was able to call or email my questions. I received answers right away. The tech support is good as well as the customer service. I would recommend this to a growing retail business.

Pros

Ease of use, setup, and reporting functionality are all amazing!

Cons

You can tell it's primary focus was for the restaurant industry, but it has features that apply really easily to the retail sector. Things like inventory tracking and product mix are really helpful for gaining insight on what's selling well in the store, especially when I'm not up front at the register every day to see the product that's moving.
