Pros: I like that AxisCare was built from the ground up to satisfy the needs of a Private Duty company. Instead of being something that tries to please all the people all the time, they have come up with a beyond robust platform that meets every need that I have in Home Care. From clients to caregivers, leads and referrals, messaging and telephony, it's all there and then some. The marketing portion of this program is the single most important factor in the growth of my business. AxisCare works seamlessly with Quickbooks Pro or Quickbooks Online Edition. I've used both and AxisCare saves me so much time. I am constantly finding new and innovative ways to use AxisCare and their support and development teams are the best. Problems are solved immediately and suggestions are implemented in the newest updates.

Cons: I can't think of anything I don't like about AxisCare or the company. I just wish more people knew about them and what an amazingly useful program it is for the management of my home care business.

Recommendations to other buyers: As an IT professional, I can tell you with great confidence that when doing my due diligence in evaluating programs I might use to become the backbone of managing my home care business, I evaluated and demo-ed five different programs that claim to do the same thing. Nothing compared to AxisCare in features, ease of use, and quality of the user interface. In addition to all that, AxisCare understands how a pricing model should be structured. Other companies lock you into a 2 year contract that you have to buy your way out of when you want out...and you will because other companies structure their pricing model on the number of clients you have. Those of us in home care know that the number of clients has nothing to do with anything because every client is different and shouldn't carry the same weight. What matters is the number of hours billed and AxisCare understands this. My advice would be to look into all these things and avoid dramatic price increases by going with AxisCare. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Pros: Compatibility with other software programs we use. Ability to take a prospective client or employee and convert into a actual client/employee. Alerts for scheduling errors, unscheduled shifts, client/employee birthdays, alerts for employee's requirements (Valid DL, Auto Ins, First Aid, Professional License), and alerts when an employee doesn't clock in for a shift.

Cons: Learning to use the software in the beginning but with the assistance with Customer support we were able to become masters of it. Now when we have to call customer support it is usually because of an error we have made ourself, which they can fix that also on their end. Or just a call to tell them we miss talking with them :)

Overall: This is the best scheduling software around. The features are execellent and Customer Support is awesome. Whenever an issue may come up, we have contacted Customer support and they are immediately there to help. If support isn't sure how to handle the issue they will research it and get back with us. They have always gotten back to us in a timely manner and resolve the issue when they do.
The software is easy to work with. Once we got used to using all the features we were able to set up schedules, assessments, plan of care, billing and payroll. It is an all in one software which is compatible with Quickbooks. The billing software is also compatible with third payer software once everything is set up.

Recommendations to other buyers: Easy to use once you have worked with the software. Does everything they have advertise it to do. AxisCare is always seeing ways to improve the software and even give you the choice to switch to new or stay with old.

Axis has made scheduling a more efficient process, and saved time.

Comments: Overall, AXIS is a great scheduling system, that has DEFINITELY added ease and efficiency to the job of the scheduler. And I should know, since I am the scheduler!!!

Pros: The alerts that enable you to know when you have double booked a caregiver with more than one client. Also, the layout of the website gives the user easy access to client/caregiver schedules, profiles, and reports that aide in running a home health company.

Cons: There are days when the system does not work correctly or drags slowly. Also, there are a few glitches/kinks that need to be worked out. Examples include, but are not limited to, a caregiver who works with 2 clients clocks in for her morning shift at 8:30am, and the system clocks her in at 8:30am for her evening shift that starts at 4:30pm. Also, when verifying, once verified and a caregiver manually clocked out, caregiver can clock out later and the system recognizes the telephony change/stays verified-It should unverified automatically if this happens. This may cause discrepancies in payroll/invoicing, if not seen by office administration.

Pros: After using a competitor's software for our first year in business, I was looking for a better solution to handle the complex scheduling issues we face on a daily basis. AxisCare was up to the task. Not only did we find a better solution for handling the scheduling, but the consistent enhancements to the overall software package displays the dedication this Company has towards staying ahead of the competition. The roll-out of the AxisCare Mobile App has been a huge win for our caregivers, which translates to a huge win in the office. There are less missed clock-ins and the completion of ADL's is much more consistent. The support staff is fantastic. We have experienced a very quick response time anytime there are questions or issues and the staff always treat you in a friendly and professional manner.

Cons: An area that I wanted some more consistency and flexibility with is the customized forms section. When I brought that up to the support staff, they mentioned that the developers were already working on a complete overhaul of that area. One of the main developers actually reached out to me and spent a significant amount of time trying to understand our business and identifying what features would benefit us the most. I'm extremely confident that this roll-out will be as successful as the Mobile App was.

Recommendations to other buyers: Have a list of needs that your business has and make sure your sales person is able to show you how their system can handle them. Once you've identified that they are a good fit, you can rest easy that the support team will be there for you on a daily basis.

Pros: Our customer rep., although she has other responsibilities, is very knowledgeable when we have an issue. Staff is usually very friendly. Software is fairly easy to use. The 3rd party billing has made billing the VA much easier and has sped up the payment time by the VA significantly. The integration with Applicant Stack makes putting in new employees a lot easier.

Cons: After customer rep. left, the technical support took a little bit of a hit. While they are friendly, most of the time they have to seek out other help to answer a question. Would be nice to have some better reporting. The one report we requested had done took quite a while to get done and was 75% of what we asked. While I can appreciate tech support calling back (typically the same day), most of our issues are real time issues and would be nice if we could get someone on the phone right then and there.

Comments: Overall, AxisCare has been a major value add for our business. We used to maintain paper records, and AxisCare allowed us to replace most of that system. We had reviewed five different CRM options before we decided to go with AxisCare and we have no regrets.

Pros: AxisCare is easy to use, provides great organization and well worth the price. The solutions has a professional appearance, and the layout is very intuitive to navigate. The system combines all aspects of the healthcare business, from marketing and tracking leads to managing client and caregiver information. AxisCare consistently makes updates to the system, making it even better with each release.

Cons: No particular issues with the product. Customer Service is pretty good, however, I have experienced times when follow up could have been more timely.

Comments: I would like to extract the information for billing and payment in a different format so I can upload it to my accounting system. Maybe with a query constructor that lets me get the needed information.

Pros: It is really helpfull to manage nursing personnel. You enter your client and provider information and with the calendar function you can schedule visits. Once the nurse is working, the software allows us time keeping correctly for billing and payment. Also, has a CRM to keep control of leads and contacts. The reports are very useful to see exactly how things are going on with the whole company.

Cons: The system can interface with Quickbooks but in my country that system is not used. It is difficult to remove and update visits from the calendar because it has to be done one by one. Reports are very useful, but have restrictions of how the information is extracted from the system. Not optimized for managing staff personnel.

Comments: From the first week of operating within Axiscare it was clear that it had the simplicity and all the flexibility to accommodate future use. Any software that accommodate growth and flexibility is going far beyond competition. The support team and manager are very forthcoming with quick response time.

Pros: Multi platform use i.e. smartphone, tablets, desktop. Low cost to enter. Multi-user integration without jeopardising security. Contact with support, improvements made over time, Listens to input and accommodate for special changes to one client. Form creating possibilities (which can only get better as it is in Beta) Financial reports. Overall very easy to use.

Cons: Would like the phone app to be introduced to UK. Full integration with xero.com accounting software for invoicing.

Comments: Using Axis Care software has been a great help for our agency. It allows us to focus on our clients and caregivers instead of focusing in the office management. Since Axis Care takes care of schedules, payroll, billing, we have more time to attend people rather than process.

Pros: Reports are great: billing, payroll and royalties. Specially great when you see the same amounts on them. Easy to add clients and caregivers.

Cons: On March 12 the daylight saving time started in the USA. In Mexico it started on April 1st. During those weeks, caregivers could not check in and out correctly because the system had a different time. Very annoying and we didn't know how to fix it. Making changes to the schedule is not that easy. I make a change and click save but it doesn't save nor tells me what am I doing wrong. Spanish translation is terrible. I could help with that if you want I don't understand the fix and hourly rates. It calculates the same way. If you change the default hourly rate, it changes the rates of past events which is bad, because that already happened and should not change.

Customer for almost 5 years! We love Axiscare!

Pros: We love all the little features besides the scheduling side that applies to our Caregivers. For example, clocking in and out, online schedules available, online case notes, assessments, and ADL's available for Caregivers. Notifications for a failed clock in/out. We LOVE these features!

Cons: Sometimes there will be software glitches - When you click on a particular client, it will take you to another client so you have to start over at times. It's absolutely manageable but it does happen often.

Overall: We have had AxisCare for several years. We have had a very pleasant experience and always recommend AxisCare to other agencies that are in need or unhappy with their current scheduling provider.

Recommendations to other buyers: We are really hopeful for an app for office use in the future!

Comments: Axis Care is a very accommodating company. They have worked with us since the beginning and have made many changes to our liking. I believe it could be more fluid, but I believe they are getting there. The staff is excellent and we enjoy working with them very much.

Pros: The OS is pretty simple They are willing to change the site to accommodate our needs Price Reports Phone App

Cons: It isn't as fluid as it could be, pages could work together more Care Note week and Billing week does not match and is a major annoyance (needs to be sun-sat and should have a bi-weekly option) Does not sync/update Home Care Pulse when cases end, even though the information is updated from our system Website is very hard to navigate on a phone when making changes

Don't look anywhere else. Axis is the best for your business needs. Trust me....I know

Comments: After using a few other software systems we stumbled across AxisCare. It is very user friendly. It took me less than an hour to be independent with the software. We use AxisCare for our "in home PAS business" and for our "Assisted Living Business" The customer support ladies are wonderful, friendly and always eager to help. They listen to our issues and try to adapt the software to meet our needs. Payroll and invoicing is so easy with AxisCare. I can't think of any upgrades that are needed at this moment.

Pros: Telephonic clock in and out for employees that transfers into the payroll reports. This makes payroll so easy. Same with invoicing.

Cons: The recent upgrades to AxisCare fixed the one con I had with the software.

Comments: We enjoy using the software to manage our aides and clients and customer support is awesome!

Pros: Great customer service! Works wonders for scheduling and aide/client management.

Cons: We're looking forward to when they can integrate a customizable Nursing (admissions, nursing visits and supervisory visits) platform that can be used with tablets by our nurses in the field that will allow signature capturing from both the nurse and the client. Also, the mobile app is new and needs a better integration with the software and signature capturing from the aides and the clients on a daily basis. We'd like to see the forms be more customizable.

Pros: Price & Capabilities.... the software does more than we need. The affordable solution was the hook but again the capabilities set it apart from everyone else!

Cons: Seriously, can't really comment on this, there simply is nothing to say. Even when our team neglected to understand a function, the company customer service was great! In fact, Sydney and Lauren are my 'go to girls' at AxisCare... not too many companies can be that focused, we love it!

Overall: We started off with just 2 clients, we learned a lot, then we kept adding more clients on, each and every month. The entire experience was awesome!

Recommendations to other buyers: No, I would encourage you to check it out, they not only know their stuff, but they eventually become 'partners' - and if you're in the non-medical home care business, that's exactly what you need to be successful.

Pros: AxisCare made the impossible, possible. We are a new company in the Home Care arena and as you can imagine trying to start from the ground floor is a monumental task. AxisCare took one of the worries out of our hands by providing us with their scheduling tool to track client and caregiver schedules. We rely heavily on the reporting tool to ensure all clients and caregivers are scheduled appropriately. Without this tool, we may not have noticed scheduling conflicts or unassigned visits.

Cons: I really haven't found a least favorite option yet and I doubt I will. I am currently testing the mobile app to see if it is something we want to roll out to all of our caregivers.

Comments: This product is EVERYTHING you need and more. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Pros: AxisCare is very user-friendly. Everything I need is accessible from the dashboard, and running reports are a breeze. It's not often, but when I need help, their Customer Support team is fantastic. They remember who we are, where we are, what we do, and what we need. I've never had to wait more than an hour for them to fix my issues.

Cons: I have no complaints about AxisCare. We've been with them for almost 3 years and have no intentions on switching!

Comments: We have used Axis for over 3 years. There have been some good changes made to the system, and some changes I wish would have been made. Overall it is an exceptional value, and I have appreciated the relationship with the company as well as the personalities within Axiscare.

Pros: Affordability; updates to the clock-in methods; Simple to complex report options; Programmers implementing requests into the system (changes)

Cons: The care-note week and the billing week do NOT match (sun-mon; Sat-Sun). Have been asking for this change for a very long time - It creates big issues for insurance billing.

Comments: The software is really good for scheduling and keeping track of your clients. It is intuitive and relatively easy to navigate. The company is committed to pushing out improvements and does so by listening to their customers. It provides the efficacy needed to manage staff and clients as well as each case.

Pros: Intuitive, easy to navigate, relatively robust client management capabilities.

Cons: Needs to be some kinks worked out with the telephony. In brief, the times noted respectively to a client isn't always accurate if a caregiver goes over the allotted time of one client and then tries to call in for another client in the same day. If the time the caregiver went over with client A is overlapped with the next client, client B, then telephony does not recognize the correct client. One other needed improvement is the application. Very archaic and needs to be customizable and not static. Too sterile.

Comments: Overall very happy with product. Although not 100% perfect, much better than others used previously.

Pros: Fast/responsive, fully integrates online applications/applicants, caregivers, clients, marketing, scheduling/calendars, billing & payroll, clock-in/out using telephony or smart phone app (gps). Integration with Quickbooks.

Cons: Integration with QB online has not been as trouble-free as with QB desktop. Although continually providing new features and upgrades, sometimes a bit slow to integrate specific requested needs.

Comments: The price of the product is very good for a small company like myself. We have used it for several years now since start up and have had positive results. The app on the phone for Electronic Verification is very important to us and shows our credibility to everyone.

Pros: We can have our caregivers and clients in one place as well as billing and payroll. This is a huge benefit when tracking all your employees and clients.

Cons: Wish to be able to add certain fields that are unique to my company. Wish I can run certain reports in a more friendly version.

Good, but I wish it was more robust, more functional.

Pros: Like: good customer support, easy to use, not too expensive, has all the necessary fields, no unnecessary "bells and whistles"

Cons: least: not very functional, not very flexible. Hard recommendations: - Exports should be more user friendly, provide information, sometimes it is just like downloading words, not data which can be sorted upon. - wish could send caregivers emails/texts from their profile, not need to go out to caregiver list - wish we were not so restricted in the texts - program "kicks us out" without the user being aware, and then when we hit "save" it is NOT saved, because Axis had already kicked us out. - more flexibility in terms of creating our own reporting, screens - there should be an identifier in caregiver, which should be a column in caregiver list, indicating which caregivers are actually working that week

Recommendations to other buyers: I like Axis and recommend it. Potential uses should Make sure you know what you want before

Comments: Overall - great system for in home care. We also use this for our Assisted Living Facility and it works just as well.

Pros: Simple payroll & billing reports. Easy clock in and out for caregivers. Mileage tracker making it easy for management to reimburse caregiver time Love the notes section

Cons: Scheduling section is a little difficult to navigate but this could be an user issue. Having a difficult time adjusting to the new features and functions. I need to watch the training sessions but haven't had time.

Pros: Installed in 2012, we used the ancient method of paper and spreadsheets to do our scheduling. Since we installed the program it's definitely put us on another level as far as scheduling, what caregivers and clients would and would not be a good match for each other and has made life pretty easy for myself who do constant scheduling.

Cons: minor glitches. When changing a schedule permanently the changes do not show up until the first of the following month. You have to manually do it day by day which isn't too much of a burden except when the change is early in the current month and I wind up spending a lot of time doing 30 days manually, one by one. Also, when removing one day out of a permanent schedule, you can't. You have to remove the whole schedule and re enter it with the applied changes.

Recommendations to other buyers: Look at the big picture. It helps scheduling to the max, and keeps track of important notes and calls.

Comments: We have just finished our first full year in the home health care business (whew! what a ride). We looked at three different scheduling software programs and chose Axis Care due to the fact that it appeared to be user friendly and guess what? It is!! Not only is it user friendly, we have found customer service to be top notch; they are right there to answer a phone call and I have not had to "wait" on the line, in queue for the next available operator to help me, nor have I had to listen to an automated recorded message that prompts me to choose 1 for customer service, 2 for sales, etc. REFRESHING!! I am happy with the syncing feature to Quickbooks for both payroll and billing.

Pros: User friendly, syncs with Quickbooks.

Cons: Can't say I have found anything I don't like about it.

Elimates time consuming tasks so I can focus on growth!

Comments: I helped implement AxisCare with my former employer. Its user friendly interface and robust data reporting impressed me. After getting all our clients and caregivers into the system I just can't imagine ever using anything different for scheduling! From hiring to staffing to billing - AxisCare simplifies it all, which is why as I currently work to start my own agency I'm using them from the very beginning. I'm confident it will allow me to focus on growth and quality rather than busy work and administrative tasks. As they say..."Time is Money!"

Pros: Very user friendly. Simplifies scheduling. Streamlines billing and payroll.

Cons: Higher cost than other software. The functionality makes it worthwhile, but it definitely comes with a cost.

Pros: The support staff is wonderful. They listen to concerns and suggestions and have made changes to help the product be better suited for our needs.

Cons: There are some features I would like to see. I would like this to be a fully functioning EMR. I would like more flexibilit and options when creating care plans and face pages

Overall: We started as a small agency and have grown significantly, it has been great to have a software that continues to meet our needs as an agency

Comments: Very satisfied with Axiscare as a whole. It helps with the important things like scheduling, keeping contacts, and setting appointments. We acknowledge not all the features are used, but we enjoy the ones we do employ.

Pros: Clean interface, scheduling with ease, despite issues that may comes up they respond rather quickly with fixes. Plus they are always making small and important improvements. Oh, and I forgot very affordable!

Cons: Don't like the interface on my phone, though there is a caregiver clock in features, which amazing, wish there was a mobile feature to run my office on the smartphone so I don't have to rely on the webpage.

The software has made my job much easier.

Pros: Easy to use once all the data input processes are learned. Being organized, altering me to issues, and showing conflicts in scheduling has been a stress relief.

Cons: The process of learning how to use the software is long and you stumble a bit on the way. Learning how to make changes to a single day on a schedule without manipulating the entire week or changing the rate for specific times has been an issue.

Pros: -I liked how the calendar functioned, you are able to adjust a single shift straight on the calendar or the whole schedule via the bulk scheduling. I like how the calendar showed you the past week, current week and 2 future weeks EVERY TIME. -I liked how the open shifts show on your home page, so they are very easy to identify -There is a great space for the marketing team--but it can be cumbersome and hard to use for a team -The app is great!

Cons: -I do not like that there are so many spots to put notes, it became very hard to figure out where everyone was putting notes (when looking for a note you had at least 5 spots to check. -Not as customizable as other products on the market

Pros: A great feature is the map function - I like the map directions from caregiver location to client - like the text and email schedule feature to the care givers. Like I can see all the clients at once for the week. It great to see if someone has blocked days and you've double booked them. I like that it turns applicants in to caregivers - I no longer have to do schedules by paper and I can easily change a schedule. I like it is HIPPA compliant

Cons: wish that the caregivers could see who else is scheduled so they could switch shifts - also wish there was a continuity of care tab where they could leave important notes for each other about the clients care and condition - would like a supervisor/admin app on mobile devices. would like a tab so schedulers were not able to see pay rate info for client and caregiver and also not have access to their DL number and SS number. This information is not needed by a scheduler. Most people don't understand the NOT available feature on the application and it causes problems by blocking their schedule because the care giver are used to putting hours they can work not that they can't work - this is a bit backwards. I also wish there was a way to delete people who never became a caregiver - also if we could upload our own incidents reports and the caregiver would have access to fill them out on line that would be wonderful.

Recommendations to other buyers: go through several companies demos and see what is the right one for you - make sure it is HIPPA compliant.

Comments: I've been using their services for my healthcare agency since 2014. I would say they are very personable and quick to respond. They have evolved and stayed on top of the healthcare management info trends and I believe they will continue to do greater things. After I decided to close my agency, they were able to accommodate a lower affordable rate to keep my client files in their system. Thank you for all you do and thank you for the great leadership you have provided all the way from the top.

Pros: Love that it tells you if you overlap caregiver shifts and the ability to transfer to Quickbooks. We also love you can add extra expenses such as mileage, groceries or other purchases made on the clients behalf

Cons: I like the older version and not the Beta version Wish we could have the older version back. Would like to have the view available for 2 weeks

Pros: For a web based system it is lightning fast, which is important since you need to navigate to many places as home care workflow dictates. We could not handle the capacity we do without a very speedy system. The system is also very reliable. In the 9 months I have used it, I don't recall there ever being wide scale system issue or outages. The vendor is friendly and responsive.

Cons: The product GUI seems a little dated even for a newer product. There are sometimes better ways to approach functionality than the methods implemented. Also there seems to be features added on top of other features which creates some duplicative functionality as opposed to reworking a feature the right way. Something a strong product manager would be able to oversee.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure you get a chance to play with a system before you sign the contract. Sales people will show you what great features and what look snazzy, but you really don¿t know what you are getting until you spend time operating the system with real life work situations. By then it is too late. Make sure contract is month to month in case this happens. I switched from a competitor to AxisCare and have been largely happy with my choice.

Comments: We love this software and have been using it for going on 3 years now. Axiscare has been a wonderful partner for our small business.

Pros: The functionality of reports, the responsiveness of the customer support staff, and the pricing based on hours billed.

Pros: The scheduling feature is easy to use and understand. they will also integrate date from previous databases.

Cons: Really the worst part about there product is on the human side. Horrible customer service (if you can even speak with someone or if they return your calls) and they seem unwilling to accommodate to specific needs

Comments: Friendly folks that you talk to for help...they do try to solve the problem...

Pros: Consistently working on improvements and efficiencies...and it has a lot of features...if not...usually there is a work around.

Cons: It does take some time to get schedulers fully up and running...not always intuitive. It would help to get updates on submitted "tickets"

Comments: Overall we are pleased and do recommend to others. We would like to better understand how the QuickBook interface works for payroll and billing. Our process is still manual although we understand we should be able to use AxisCare.

Pros: We especially like the new snapshot view that shows us all the shifts for the day and week ahead. This allows us to effectively manage the day.

Cons: It is cumbersome to view and work with on the iPhone and iPad. We almost always have to use the computer when changing shift tones of assigning caregivers.

Comments: Axiscare has come so far since I started using the product 2 years ago, and it has made our daily business interactions almost seamless. The "copy visit" feature has been extremely useful, and I have benefited greatly from several of the reports I am able to create during billing. I would recommend this product without hesitation to other home healthcare business owners.

Pros: Very intuitive software. All screens make sense. Accessible 24/7. This product literally saved my agency. I started a new agency from scratch 3 years ago. I was doing everything myself - staffing the office, hiring new staff, doing all the scheduling. The availability of this product in the cloud was a lifesaver! I was able to carry an IPad with me in the car. Then I could access the system from home on the weekends. Axiscare's technical support team is fantastic!!

Cons: The only criticism I would have is a technical one - I want the ability to be able to inactivate service listing without reports changing.

Recommendations to other buyers: Check to make sure you can access the system from anywhere at anytime (in the cloud).

Pros: I spend a great deal of my day with AxisCare and find it is the perfect tool for my specific job as the Assessment & New Client Coordinator for Visiting Angels. It allows me to be 'in the moment' at assessments, offering ease in navigation, and an easy to read format. In the development of the Assessment and Plan of Care, I am assured that I am able to communicate effectively the care needs of the individual to a caregiver. From intake to client management it fulfills the needs we have to professionally and accurately to maintain critical data for in-home care.

Cons: Because AxisCare had been in Beta mode for a while it was a little challenging for me to keep up with the changes. The great news is that the Support staff totally ROCKS. Within a very short period of time they get right back and patiently help with issues.

Pros: The staff is quick in addressing issues and answering questions. The company is flexible in adding customer's requested business requirements. The price is good; cost effective compares to other similar scheduling software available in the market. I appreciate the founder, staff and organization for their willingness to work with their customers. We will be a long time customer! Cons: Recent changes made to the system (without client's sign off) set the system back in functionality.

Comments: My home care business is a startup and very small right now. When the business grows I'm worried I'll have to switch software companies because some current limitations will cause me so much extra work.

Pros: Cost, user interface looks good, many good scheduling features, customer service is always friendly,

Cons: Slow with updates compared to some competitors, forms feature is virtually unusable because of small fonts and font size limitations, No way to confirm caregivers or clients receive schedules, messaging ability lacks features, caregivers cannot access care plans through app.

Comments: Easy to learn and use. There are still a few kinks, like the accepted visits in the bulletin still do not remove themselves once accepted and filled. We have to hide these daily, but otherwise the system is easy to use and the mobile app is a great feature.

Cons: Would prefer the client and caregiver calendars to be viewed by date range. It would also be nice to be able to set the alerts for certifications/evaluations go lower than 15 day notice.

Pros: I really like the Outlook page. Also the Caregiver/Client profile pages have great fields. The Calender is a great feature -- that when a caregiver is schedule for 3 different clients, all of their addresses appear on the bottom of the page.

Cons: Few features are not very userfriendly. eg. The Billing information to be inserted can be more pre-set by Axiscare. If we need to bill the VA - Its payer ID, codes to be used should pop up to choose. The field that are required must be highlighted as soon as one chooses VA on the top!

Pros: Very easy software to learn and use. New coordinators are able to learn the software quickly. The cost is very low compared to competitors. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Cons: Hours of operation. I am on the East Coast and I believe they are in Texas, so there are times in the morning that they are hard to reach.

Overall: The staff is knowledgeable. The transition from our old database went quickly and smoothly. The staff will train new employees for no extra charge. They were upfront with the pricing.

Recommendations to other buyers: Analyze cost/value. This software gives you high value at a lower cost.

Comments: Great product for tracking everything related to my senior care business. It keeps track of caregivers, clients, schedules, and even submits info to QuickBooks for Payroll and Billing. Describing how the product can help my clients track their visits and feel confident that the caregiver is on site, has helped me close on deals. Caregivers use AxisCare to check their schedules, get addresses, etc, eliminating the need for them to come to the office unnecessarily. Lastly, in my quest to become a paperless office, I upload all my contracts, health records, and other qualifications to AxisCare for permanent storage and access from anywhere.

Pros: Online applications that go directly in profiles. Ap for caregivers to sign in and out of clients homes. The invoice feature is wonderful to work with QuickBooks. I love that with a click of a button I can create, change schedules and create profiles to run our business more efficiently.

Cons: Maybe the only change, at which they are working on, the online application for caregivers to provide more information to go over to profile. Right now I have to manually imput, not a big deal just would save time for office.

Overall: I have been looking for a software program that would fit our Elderly Care Service. Axis Care has done that. It runs so smoothly and provides all the services I would need. I have tried other softwares, but Axis Care has by far been the best software yet. Highly recommend.

Recommendations to other buyers: Be patient, print off training pages to refer to in future. Give it time to meet the needs of your company. I love this product.

Comments: I'm VERY happy I went with Axis Care. I shopped for a few months and felt they offered the best product.

Pros: Axis care is user friendly. The website is easy to navigate and understand. Their customer support is what I like best. They are friendly, patient, available and helpful.

Cons: Their client portal doesn't have a designated mobil app. But the clients are still able to access their accounts on mobile devices through the website which is pretty mobile friendly.

Pros: All in one software to go completely paperless and keep track of caregivers so agency never has to worry about lost paperwork or untruthful caregivers. Clients and family have full access to view and pay for there care online. So even if a family member wants to check how a family members care is being handled even from far away they have easy access for updates and care provided. Super affordable so no worries and stress on how to pay for software. If internet doesn't work for a caregiver an easy access clock in and out and ADL's on a convenient phone number. Best customer service I've dealt with in a long long time. They really care!!

Cons: Setting up online applications were a little tricky if your not computer savvy but customer service is is super helpful

Pros: Supports my efforts to actively supervise my staff with automated notifications when they clock in and out. I also access their notes after each visit to review. Allows my staff to choose open shifts. Allows me to keep detailed notes of staff behaviors using points system. Lead management system is excellent!

Cons: I would like a more dynamic calendar that can sync with my phone. Overall I really enjoy using the product.

Pros: The software provides all tools I need to streamline the scheduling and invoicing process. Any time I need support about how to obtain a report or how to track this or that, customer support personnel is quick and precise. All verified schedules are easily synchronized with Quick Books (mine is Quick Books On-Line), so invoicing just takes a couple of clicks.

Cons: So far, so good. The marketing module might include follow up alerts as a nice feature

Pros: I am able to use it on the go or in the office. Also my caregivers are able to see their schedules and when schedule changes happen.

Cons: Not always communication when there are updates done. Unsure of how new features will affect system and often will need to call before turning on a feature. Once customer service is contacted though questions are answered.

Recommendations to other buyers: Update clients when there is an update to the system often there are new fields with missing info. Understand that for payroll if using Quickbooks the process is not seamless, but that the issue lies more QB aide than Axis Care.

Comments: I love how user friendly Axis Care is to learn and use on a daily basis!

Pros: The notes section makes it real easy for me to leave detailed notes that my scheduler can use as a reference when determining what caregiver would suit each client

Cons: In the marketing tab there is tool to plan routes. I wish this tool was also in the clients tab so I could simply plug in client addresses and plan the best route when doing multiple follow up visits

Pros: I like that when we have an issue or idea, we can just call the ladies in the office and they will put in a ticket for our request.

Cons: Sometimes it takes a long time to get things changed with AxisCare. There have also been times that we will "put in a ticket" and won't get a return call to let us know if things have been changed or fixed at all.

Recommendations to other buyers: If there is any issue with the program to call immediately because there are times that the problem doesn't get fixed for quite a while. The sooner they get the issue reported, the sooner it can get fixed.

Comments: In our agency's search for a scheduling/office management software, we heard about AxisCare by word of mouth. We called to set up a demo and even though it was last minute, they accommodated us. During the demo, the first thing we noticed was the speed - it was unbelievable. I have done demos with competing software's, and AxisCare absolutely is the fastest. During the demo, we asked about various preferred features that we would like to see added to the software. The following Monday, we were called first thing in the morning to let us know that the developers added one of the features over the weekend for us. That was when we decided this software and company was what we wanted. After signing up, we were able to learn the software with very little effort. The interface and ease of use made our transition go smoothly. Throughout our experience with AxisCare, we've kept our first contact there and he has been attentive to our needs -whether it be feature requests, tech support, or prompt updates on requests. He is an absolute joy to work with, which made this not only a easy process but a fun process. We appreciate all he does. When you do a demo, be sure to check out the telephony and marketing features. They truly are top notch!

Pros: AxisCare is easy to learn and does everything we could ask for in a scheduling software. Using the telephony segment we always know if our caregivers are where they are supposed to be when they are supposed to be there. Their tech support is easy to contact and quick to solve any issues we might have.

Cons: I can't think of a thing we don't like about this product.

Pros: I love the payroll feature where it does all the work for me, all I have to is pull the report. It also allows me to keep up with my employees.

Cons: It is not always easy to reach someone when I am having technical issues. But someone will get back in contact within 24 hours.

Comments: We got this a couple months ago and it is just what we were looking for. As soon as we got access to the software all of the possibilities that this bring to the for the front of your mind. Imagine having a software that lets your caregivers essentially pick their own schedules. That leads to a lower turnover with your caregivers. Also the clock-in methods are perfect for the tech savvy younger aides that love to use their smartphones (AxisCare App) and then you have your older caregivers that are not too tech savvy you have the telephony system where they can use any phone to clock-in. The customer support team is awesome. I called the number not knowing they were closed and someone actually picked up the phone after hours excited to talk to me and answer a simple question for me. The trainers are some of the best. If you do not know something they will stay on the phone with you and break it down into small pieces for your understanding. And the price is the best that I have ran across by far. If your looking for more bang for your buck then AxisCare is it!!!

Pros: The whole software it self.

Cons: I serious dont have any cons at the moment.

Pros: Very easy to understand, amazing customer support. I enjoy going into the software and teaching myself how to use it. Very easy to self teach, but when I needed customer support it was right at my finger tips. The easy of use is probably the best feature.

Cons: No warning about changes. Some days we came in and the screen would be blue where the visits were in the past and we were confused about the change. I never received an email about the change nor did the director. I think more emails about update would be more helpful.

Recommendations to other buyers: Is this something that you could use. I think scheduling employees was the easiest think part about this software. Figuring out the number of hours an employee works is right there. All around a great software for home health care agency and small businesses. Keeping track of the clients was easy too.

Comments: I have now used three different scheduling programs, and with each change you miss things about the previous software. As you can see, with me using so many, I am hard to please. Change is not easy and you sure feel like you lose a lot when you change, and I couldn't be more happy to make the switch to Axiscare. We didn't lose anything in regards to scheduling. You get an accurate mileage feel for client/caregiver relationship. Axiscare has a modern feel more so than the other clients. The vendor has been very helpful with any problem I have. There was quite a large learning curve in implementation. If you are starting fresh, I'm sure it would be easy but little nuances from the previous software are just not the same. It's not good or bad, it just comes with change. The biggest benefit, hands down, is the marketing aspect. It absolutely blows the socks off the others from a marketing stand point. I can walk into a facility and, with confidence, talk to social workers and nurses about my previous clients and have all the data I need to blow their socks off. I can't tell you how much it's added to the overall feel of our organization. Marketing has improved dramatically.

It is a great system and easy to use. I'm so thankful I found this for my new company.

Pros: Easy to use and very easy to build schedules. I really like that I can log into the system anywhere I am.

Cons: I wish you could verify hours from the calendars. It would make it a lot easier if I had to verify just one schedule.

Pros: Customer Service- When we need assistance with a process, or if we need a process changed/adjusted, Axis personnel have always delivered. Product Delivery- The product itself does a wonderful job, and when needed, additional training is given on demand.

Cons: The scheduling needs to be more customizable, but we have placed some requests, that are being worked on.

Recommendations to other buyers: Look at other software first and compare. Then ask for individuals who switched from another scheduling software to the particular one you are looking at. The reasons someone will switch from one vender to another is a very important factor when making a scheduling vendor choice.

Pros: cost web based software easy to use makes badges for caregiver and office staff response time is quick

Cons: calender is a little cluttered there is really not to many things I don't like about this software
