Pros

Their courteous and knowledgeable staff makes it easy to get help when you need one. The ease of use of the software is wonderful. You can practically start using the software without any orientation nor trainings.

Cons

We can't connect to quickbooks online to process accounts and payroll. With desktop version only we are just limited.

Overall, I am really ejoying using AxisCare software!

Pros

I love that you can caregivers apply right in the software so all of their personal data doesn't have to be entered in manually, just click convert when they are hired and viola, you have a caregiver profile.

Cons

The new forms option is great, but I am very interested as to when certain standard forms (like the I9) will be built in/included. Right now I think the price to have a form created is a bit steep.

We used a similar system and spreadsheets before that, and AxisCare is so much more than I ever imagined a scheduling software could be. We looked for new software because we wanted something more user friendly and, if we had an idea, we wanted someone that would listen and implement if possible. The previous software company was so unwilling to make changes that we would have benefited from in our office. We have been using AxisCare for a little over a year, and the transition was smooth and easy and took less than a week. Most of us in the office picked the system up rather quickly and have found it easy to use. I love it because there seems to be something new or that I haven't seen before that turns out to be helpful. The few times I have used the support staff and they were really knowledgeable!

We are a start-up agency who began serving clients this past September. We started with another software system and realized immediately that we didn't like it and switched to Axis. Axis is easy to learn and intuitive. It does everything we need it to do. There are people to help when you need help. We are very, very satisfied.

Pros

Ease of use Comprehensive array of features Visibly appealing

Cons

While it has all of the functionality when accessed from your phone, it is not responsive and not as visibly appealing.

Pros

AxisCare brings it all together: Caregivers, Clients and Marketing! No keeping multiple databases. It's all in one portal. And the fact that it's in the cloud let's us share info about leads, clients and caregivers to the rest of the team. No more lost paper.

Cons

We've had some challenges with caregiver calendars not being viewable in email blasts. We worked with the IT team and they got it fixed! A few bugs here and there, but when we point them out, we get them addressed.

Pros

Tracking of clients is Amazing, very convenient and you can use any where. I can say that its worth the investment of getting the EVV and I am proably not using this product to full compacity.

Cons

Customer Service can be slow at time but for the most part I can get my questions or concerns answered within 24 hours

Pros

I love the "all-in-one" package. Anything from scheduling to billing and payrolls. The communication to caregivers and the options to send out open visit is very helpful.

Cons

Our caregivers are having lots of problems with clocking in/out. I'm not sure whether it is the clients phone problem or the system.

Our agency would like the opportunity to follow-up with a more thorough review in several months after we have used the software.

Pros

The number of features available are a plus. Especially the marketing integration, employee application integration, and the geo fencing options.

Cons

Our agency is new to the AxisCare software so we don't have any real cons to list at this time. The first training session was less than ideal, which was not expected.

would definitely recommend it to any new Home Care business!

Pros

I love the mobile app, it allows my staff to chart at the bedside, POC and the scheduling is tops! Also the schedule lets you do the whole year of repetitive visits.

Cons

That it cannot do invoicing in stand alone mode! Also, as administrator, i cannot log in via the mobile app because it tells me I am not a caregiver, but I only wanted to test it before my staff did.

I like that the product can handle all aspects of business and the vendor is easy to access when there is a problem

Cons

The only thing that I do not like is sometimes there are glitches when switching from client to client but all you have to do is hit back or refresh and it usually fixes it self.

Pros

It is easy to work with. Everything is self explanatory. Ive been able to teach myself to use the system and I learn new things everyday on it.

Cons

I wish you could be able to share care plans. Daily care notes tend to have the most problems; cant always save it daily, have to certify it and then my workers cant add more notes on other days,

Pros

AxisCare makes it easy to schedule according to our employees' availability, as well as in regard to what our clients need. It is easy to organize and set up alerts/reminders. It also lets us build an extensive profile for both clients and employees. I also really like that we can run reports to see various statistics, as well as easily locate data.

Cons

The only complaint I have is when you have two tabs open (both with AxisCare) they cannot stay open with two separate clients, etc. They tend to jump over to whichever the other is on, which sometimes causes us to lose data we are trying to input.

I think there is a great bases here. If the company is only doing private pay clients then it's awesome but if they have any insurance or waiver clients then the accounting/ billing piece of it is awful.

Pros

Great front end features. Coordinating: matching caregivers to clients, Ease of scheduling: easy to change appointments

Cons

Horrible Back End Features. Accounting: Very manual for accounting functions and there is no way to contact change healthcare

Pros

Support has been pretty good and they seem willing to consider feature requests as well as frustrations (NO software is without SOME frustration, especially when your just learning to use it.) they seen genuinely interested in providing great value and evolving with the industry.

Cons

Sometimes I think some of the functionality could be a bit more intuitive, but I've tried some of the competing products and comparatively they're pretty good.

The marketing side is really good, if it is utilized.

Cons

The cumbersomeness of the billing process and the reporting limitations. There are a lot of reports but typically only one way to run them. Had to create a work-around for some reports, in order to get the data we need.

I do not like the AxisCare App because since I have been trying to get my caregivers on board with the app everyone has been having issues and there are a few features that they could certainly improve to make the app easier to use and understand.

AxisCare is truly an amazing management program. I worked with ERSP for over a year and I feel this program has really taken things to a whole new level. Just when I think it can't get any better, they find something else to introduce to make it remarkable! AxisCare is very user friendly and helps me multi-task throughout the day and keeps me on track with the alerts. As a staffer, it ensures I get a great fit for our patients and also for our caregivers when we set the caregiver attributes. I could go on and on about this program and its qualities and have nothing negative to say about it about. Any time I have had a question or concern I have been able to get in touch with them immediately and have my questions answered.

I work the Visiting Angels and am relatively new to the Home Health industry. Coming from a production based business that used Microsoft Access, I found AxisCare to be a breath of fresh air. Its intuitive user interface made for a smooth transition. I am a scheduling coordinator, matching clients to care givers (CGs). At the touch of a button, I can see all the CGs that have previously been with the client, as well as a list of all CGs in close proximity, starting with the nearest. This is especially helpful in emergency staffing situations. The creators of this software are also eager to hear and implement ideas from users of their software. I cannot thank them enough for creating such a user friendly program.
