AxisCare has a lot of pros, but in my opinion the biggest is the ease of use. For someone that has been trained on another system or someone who is a brand new user, AxisCare's straight forward layout of the main dashboard and corresponding tabs make it this program very user friendly. Having AxisCare greatly reduces the down time of training new employees and greatly increases office productivity.

I switched from ERSP to AxisCare in 2012. Since switching software, my Home Care agency has increased in revenues by $3,000,000/year. I can't say enough about the effectiveness of the marketing component for AxisCare - it has revolutionized the way we get new clients. The customer support has been outstanding, the ease of data migration was seamless, and I could not be happier with AxisCare.

Pros

The software is very user-friendly, and there are so many features that make it an asset for any company to have.

Cons

I've found one thing that has been a glitch. When typing in the notes for a client or caregiver, it sometimes freezes up, and you have to edit it to make changes or complete your notes.

Pros

Client and Caregiver matching based on attributes is one of my favorite parts. Really helps me know more about the client and the caregiver.

Cons

The adjustments I have asked for are not being met. I need easy access to print mailing labels and this is still not available a month after my request.

Customer service is AWESOME, always helpful, and quick. Everyone I have had the pleasure of doing my training with was very knowledgeable and patient. Also when having to call for help, again very patient and helpful.

Pros

Its great that this system speaks to Quick-books, very convenient with having not to constantly have to reenter client/caregiver information.

Cons

Its not too much of a CON but I personally would like to delete a profile especially if I plan to never do business with client/caregiver. You can not delete profiles.

Pros

Responsive customer support. They are available at all times.

Cons

Caregiver and client numbers aren't on their profiles. So if you need to see their number, you have to get out of their page and go to the listing. Then you have to go back to their page like you did the first time.

It's user-friendly and easy to track education and training deadlines. Care note tracking and scheduling are very user-friendly.

Cons

It would be good to be able to set a number limit to visits for clients who go through the VA, etc. and only get a certain amount of days allowed.

The software is easy to use. It's intuitive, and you don't have to have your staff be computer specialists to use it! We had a short inservice, and everyone was able to document in this system.

Cons

I would like to be able to choose different page layouts for assessments.

Cons

I would prefer if it didn't change multiple tabs if two different clients are selected. I also would prefer if it didn't time out and cause me to log in again.

AxisCare actually makes time for us. It cuts down on the time it takes to manage schedules, do payroll and invoicing, and with AxisCare's direct input to our accounting system, the data flow is seamless. What used to take hours, now takes minutes. I have not found another system that works any better, we are very happy with the results.

Since we have been using Axis Care, it has greatly reduced the amount of time it takes to do scheduling, payroll, and billing. It has great integration with our accounting software, and just a few clicks is all it takes to get invoices and payroll generated. Since time is money, Axis care makes us money because it saves so much time.

Pros

That it pulls up the caregiver names and phone numbers that are closest to the clients when you are looking for someone to fill a shift in a hurry. This system is great it does it all I'm still find new thing to use in my daily use

Cons

I can't seen to find anything about the system that I don't like I am still find new thing ever day that I love more that I did not know was there. This system will do anything and everything for you its great.

Pros

easy to glance at and know multiple variables in regard to multiple employees at once. Can customize colors to make it easy on the eyes.

Cons

Constant helpful tips from team. However, I am sure this is helpful to others. Just a personal preference.

I recommend calling these guys and taking a demo. This is a seasoned, well designed system that does everything it claims.

Pros

AxisCare does everything I need it to do, and more. It has more features than I even use! The development team is constantly improving the product. The support is excellent and very quick to respond and resolve any issues, which frankly, are few and far between. AxisCare integrates with Quickbooks smoothly. I love how I can staff from my car on my mobile device as easily as I can from my desktop at the office. In my over six years of use, the system has only been down once, for an hour or two. That's it! The reliability of this product is outstanding.

Cons

No real cons. The only thing I'd say is, like any system, AxisCare has a learning curve. The support team does a fantastic job minimizing the time it takes by providing one-on-one training whenever we need it, as well as online tutorials. There are help icons all over the site to provide quick tips and insights on the various features and functions. The coolest thing to me is, years ago, I had suggested those help icons to the development team, and they implemented it! I love how they take user's ideas to keep making AxisCare better and better.

Care notes can't be seen by all caregivers of a client, and info should be integrated throughout transition. If it is input, then it should be copied to each page (eg - applicate to care give or lead to client).
