easy to change bookings, being a weather-dependant activity being able to take and store card details is very useful, ability to send emails and texts to customers

Cancelling trips isn't the easiest thing to do in that customers have to be cancelled individually

Pros

Of course it manages our reservations and processes payments but it also incorporates the essentials of a client contact management system. This was an unexpected benefit of converting to Fareharbor. We use the system to make and document outgoing client contacts and record basic notes about specific needs of a customer. For a business like ours in which the majority of customers are one time transactions, the ability to create and document basic email and text messages is a real time saver and greatly increases our ability to interact with customers in a positive manner. In addition, the easy to use Public Banners are a way to convey pertinent information to potential customers BEFORE they call, saving valuable phone time for our associates. Seamless use of the platform on an iPad or even an IPhone free up weekends.

I met \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] at the WTM in London as I was thinking about changing the provider. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] listened to what the needs of my business and was there to support all the way through the data gathering & build of the systems which was great. I spoke to other members of the team and they were equally as helpful and engaged.

Pros

Easy to use and functional software. I like the customer facing product that uses text and email to connect with customers.

Cons

I,m still learning but at the availability seems a little over compliated.

### "Fareharbor has been a great tool for managing bookings efficiently."

Helps keep bookings for the Escape House I manage organized and simple. The email notifications also help keep me updated on when games are booked so I know when I need to go in to run a game.

Pros

I love that Fareharbor has a simple interface that lets me see bookings a week at a time. It's easy to see which days have bookings, what time the booking is at, and what type of booking it is. I like that Fareharbor also includes options For taking great payments, issuing refunds, offering discounts, etc. I also absolutely love that there is an option for me to receive an email whenever a booking is made. Overall, I've found Fareharbor to be very effective for my company's needs.

Cons

It can be a little challenging to find what each button does and what steps you need to take to find the information you're looking for. However, my company has not used this software for an extended period of time as yet, so I suspect these problems will be cleared up with extended use that helps me become more familiar with the software.

Excellent.

Pros

Easy to use, I worked as a tour guide, and we used this system as our main way of taking bookings, printing manifests and organizing our staffing for the day. It was easy to use, and the interface was great, very easy to understand and get all the information required quickly and easily.

Cons

I found the software was very simple and straight forward to use, although there were a few bugs which took a while to be resolved.

Mostly I need help with some adjustments and adding the affiliates. The support team reacts immediately, absolutely adequate and correct. When I contact FareHarbor, every time is a different person who responds to my request and every time I receive a fast and excellent help.

Pros

The software is extremely friendly and easy to work with. There are a lot of options and can be customised to each situation.

Cons

On the display option, the colour-coded items option always turned on. I have to uncheck this option every time I enter on the platform because without the colours is better seen the availability of the tours.

Better customer service, guest communication, easier to prepare for trips with guest rosters and good customer service from Fareharbor to help get tasks done that don't seem intuitive.

Pros

Easy to add new offerings, photos, easy communication with guests & affordable for a small business. Automatic follow up emails are super helpful feature!

Cons

No staff availability option/calendar integration, no equipment roster for trips or rentals, multi-days don't block out all days they are out on the calendar which would be a helpful visual for scheduling and it would be interesting to have google analytics integrated in the fareharbor system. Maybe I just don't know how to do some of these things.

It is user-friendly, reliable, and provides peace of mind knowing it is always ready to get every important reservation. It automatically sends out confirmation, reminder, and thank you emails. I wish I would have found FareHarbor a long time ago.

Pros

One of the best aspects of FareHarbor is the quality of people they employee and the customer service they provide. Their booking software is expansive and can do whatever I might need. It does things I didn't even know I needed and now couldn't work without. If I can't figure out how to do something, they are a call or email away and quickly answer any question. They provide so much training, support, and tour expertise that they have become a valued part of my team. They literally are the best company I have ever come across. They understand what a tour company needs and have made the software for it.

Anytime you change booking software there can be some frustration due to learning a new system. Our company has so many variables, definitely more than the average company, so there were a lot of additions and ammendments that needed to be made for the software to work more fluidly with our company. The customer support team at fareharbor is AMAZING! Every single time I called or emailed, they were always very fast with their responses and they went out of their way to create new ways for their program to work more seamlessly with our company. They honestly have one of the best customer support teams I have ever worked with on any product. You can tell that they all care about creating something that works well for their clients, and I would definitely recommend them. Thanks fareharbor team for taking such good care of us!

Pros

The filters, the ability for it to do the automatic closing when we have reached our instructor capacity.

Cons

I wish it was a little easier to close down certain class times but not the whole day.

Great service and I am very optimistic about our future with FareHarbor. The training wasn't as strong as I was hoping, and there were occasions where I had to ask about features and transferring data, but the response was very helpful. The FareHarbor team is very pleasant to work with.

Pros

The FareHarbor team took the time to get to know what my company's needs are and how we can customize the platform to better our sales and customer experience.

Cons

The look seems a little robotic and unwelcoming, but that's only on the administrator end; the customer view is much improved compared to our previous platform.

Very user friendly. Built into our own site rather than taking our users away. We can build our own users and things like discount codes, adding on affiliates etc very easily. Our affiliates were also connected so meant easier to get bookings as they can see live availability.

The gift voucher codes are very long....

I no longer run a national program with one of the biggest reasons being that the booking platform for this system was FareHarbor and the huge amount of time, stress and frustration to set new things up, reschedule programs, duplicate programs, issue refunds - everything basically - made it not worth running the programs

Pros

when products are set up, i think customers may have a fairly good experience

Cons

it is complicated, too hard and time consuming to use, nothing is simple and easy to do, there is too much to learn and set up

Pros

We looked at a few different options before landing on fareharbor, and I have previous experience with other software. We have about 13 different companies wrapped up into one and pretty much any situation we have come up has been handled with relative ease. Fareharbor does a really good job with blending advanced back end options with an interface that is laid out in a very user friendly way. We've been using the software for about 4 maybe 5 months and a very busy Easter served as a solid proving ground. I could not be happier with the decision to go with Fareharbor. All said and done we have 13 dashboards that are all intermingled. even in the short 4 months we've had the software there have been several upgrades that have added tremendously to the flow and mostly to the back end reporting side. Customer service has been a pleasure to work with and my contact person was phenomenal at helping me get just what was needed. We were in constant, daily communication, and I greatly appreciate his help getting us going and then some. I've got a great feeling going into the 2017 season with very solid booking tool and online presence.

Pros

Easy of use and easy to read when using.

Cons

You cannot mass email selected customers day of. This would help if there was an issue due to weather. No free smart waiver yet on the platform, others offer in the cost.

While implementing the processes of my business plan, I reached a point when I had to choose a ticketing company for my food tour. FareHarbor was the clear choice. I researched every aspect of the food tour industry and choosing the right ticketing company is a priority. FareHarbor stood head and shoulders above the rest. At the very first call, my questions were answered in a way that showed me they care about my business. What may have seemed obvious to others, FareHarbor never took for granted in explaining the online ticketing business model. The real test of FareHarbor's integrity came when I admitted I was struggling with my website design. This is when Tyler Sindel, my account executive at FareHarbor, came to the rescue. He listened to me describe my vision for the website and produced a product that surpassed all of my expectations. Tyler has been a constant support for my start up. He is never more than email for phone call away. He is professional and displays exemplary patience and understanding with my learning curve. My business start up would not be where it is today without Tyler's help. I am truly indebted to him. We launch our tours next month and are proud to partner with FareHarbor.

### "The easiest system ever"

We had a different ticketing system for about a year and a half and had a very hard time working with it so we decided to switch. I am so glad we did! Fareharbor is amazing. Not only is the system wonderful and easy to use, but the staff are amazing. We had Philippine and Michael working with us and they literally did all the work. They were astounding in what they did, and whatever they are making is not enough. They literally built our whole system for us and had us ready to go live in about 2 weeks. Once the system was launched it was so easy to use and they have a beautiful calendar that makes every event so easy for everyone to see. On top of that we were not left on our own after we launched and no problem was too small for the Fareharbor team. I can not say enough good things about Fareharbor and the reps that we worked with.

Pros

One of the best things about this product is the calendar. It can be sorted by product, by bookings, by day, or any other way you would like to view your events. The system can also be integrated with Groupon, or many other third party vendors like Expedia. The best thing about Fareharbor is the people. The two reps that we worked with (Philippine and Michael) were the best people I have ever worked with.

Good! Friendly support team, account manager that thinks along in line of improvements and the system seems to work very well. Would recommend other to use their software as well.

Pros

Ability to manage account in bulk, so any changes can be made in an easy way to large amounts of availabilities/schedules. Technical back-end is user friendly and very versatile for any type of organisation.

Cons

The front end; consumer side can be made a bit easier to use. Right now the options to choose from are limited and if you have a lot of departure times it can be a bit much from a consumer perspective to choose from.

We started setting the new system up during the pandemic. It went very well. Their customer support team is knowledgably and amazing. The call back time is very brief. Most of the time tech support is available right away. We received only great service. We are happy, we upgraded our previous systems with FareHarbor.

Pros

The software is easy to use and structured clearly.

Cons

The Wedding industry is very unique and packages need to be customized on a daily basis, which can be a little challenging at times. The support team is on issues right away. I wish they would have an invoicing system with payment options attached. That would make our life much easier and harder to dispute for customer.
