Was skeptical about adding an online booking system to our small business, but the people at FareHarbor made it an easy transition from start to finish. Over conference calls they collected the necessary info to build our custom system and provided full training for owners and affiliates. As with anything new, and especially with the fluid nature of our charter business, have needed to make many adjustments over the past few months. While I have been able to make many of the changes myself, some things requiring further assistance have been quickly responded to by the FareHarbor team. Mitch in particular has been very accommodating and responsive. The system has reduced our call volume and increased our bookings. Highly recommend, very pleased with this system.

Pros

Ease of use, for both owners/employees/affiliates and customers. Appreciate the 24/7 support and have had a good experience with responsiveness to any issues we have had. It has been a great way to keep track of customers, revenue and other details.

Cons

Only occasional hiccups with complications/glitches...mostly smooth sailing.

Scheduling multiple charter boats for sportfishing and also multiple boats for shark diving, 2 businesses, Fareharbor calendar makes scheduling, rebooking, cancelling, refunding, everything is perfectly simple to use.

Pros

I like EVERYTHING about Fareharbor! The software and the customer support is excellent! I use this for two businesses, charter fishing and shark diving in Hawaii, very easy and customer support is always a phone call away.

### "Easy and free setup, but booking cost fairly high "

Good. The initial sales guy tried to setup the system to drive too many of our bookings online, at the expense of doing them manually to make better use of our instructors and resource. But once setup the system worked well and the tech support was excellent. The tech team would very quickly change opening times, setup new activities, change prices etc. Best tech support I have ever had.

Pros

Setup was done by Fare Harbour and it cost us nothing. The technical team are really fast and effective.

Cons

Fare Harbour add a booking fee that the customer has to pay on top of the fee for the activity. We would have preferred to include this fee in the total as we did not like the concept of a booking fee.

Pros

\- Easy to use/understand. - The development/support team: Every member of the FareHarbor team has always gone above and beyond to support our needs to maximize profits! One member, helped get a huge Accounting project up and running on our end, and we truly not be able to achieve our goal without the support and time he gave us.

Cons

\- We have other streams of revenue other than tour based, and unfortunately the software cannot incorporate our retail line of business as well.

### "Third booking software and I never looked back"

Pros

Customer support like no other. I have used three other softwares and besides being clumsy, when I had a problem, there was no one there to help me. I get 24/7 support and the software is super versatile.

Cons

If I had a complaint, sometimes I have someone book multiple sessions in a row and it is a little slow to ad the additional time slots. That is a very minor inconvenience for the benefits I reap using Fareharbor.

Pros

For the most part I find everything really easy to use. Every once in a while I need a little help, usually for harder things like developing a new tour.

Cons

I wish there was an ap for Android phone or tablet users! I also wish there was a way to see how everyone paid at a glance each day. I have to go to each person's booking to add up who paid cash, check or charge for the whole day.

Customer service and ease for end users. It does what it says it will, reliably, every single time.

Cons

Hard to see our whole schedule at once. Would like to be able to see multiple screens/capacities at once. We wish there was an integrated POS.

Cons

The only difficulty I have had with FareHarbor is training others to use. There is so much to remember it is a lot to train an employee on.

The image loaded on the plugin which is heavier than any other picture we have on the website, the fact that from mobile people actually leave the website to book, and there is no option to send the same text to all bookings at the same time.

Pros

It is a system that is a great fit for my small charter / tour operation.

Cons

For some of the functions there are a lot of critical steps that can trip me up sometimes.

Our clients like FareHarbor as much as we do. From day one FareHarbor has been helpful in setting up and helping us maintain the service. I'm always surprised and delighted when their customer support is proactive and contact us to offer advice. FareHarbor has helped our business look and be more professional.

Pros

The client experience is an easy to use service that integrates seamlessly into our website. Customer service is not needed often but is the best of any company our business has ever dealt with. They are responsive, knowledgeable and available 24/7.

Cons

If anything, there are a couple of features we look forward to them rolling out, including more customizations of reports.

Pros

FH account set up managers were very thorough in getting our organization set up. They asked all the right questions and were on point throughout the entire process. Our revenue significantly increased with the implementation of this system.

Cons

There's not much we did not like about this software, just had to be creative a few times when trying to sell merch.

We found that the software allowed us to have a much higher level of customer service.

Pros

We found that the software was very easy to set up and once going was very intuitive on the backend. Our customers seem to also like using it. Fareharbor allows us to have a much higher level of customer service.

Cons

Honestly, I cant think of many things that we like least. The only problem we have encountered is that we use large format tickets and originally the software didn't accommodate our ticket stock but since then they have made changes to accommodate custom tickets.

Cons

The company is growing very rapidly with a new and young staff. This has lead to some human error . It could use a better system for logging enhancement requests that could help streamline and eliminate some work-arounds

I like that there is a video for everything, whether it be to help better understand how to create a time slot or manage settings.

Cons

Sometimes it seems as though you follow all the directions and it still gives you trouble submitting a time slot.

I started working with Fare Harbor over a year ago. The software is simply fantastic. Detailed and diverse reporting options, ( invaluable), reasonable fess, daily manifest to my phone, quick accurate payments and refunds, nice re-booking options, easy reservation lookup and history, great customer support when you have a problem ( not many of those), nice ( automatic) follow up options for my guests to leave reviews and ease to use.

Pros

The software allows me to focus much more on the constantly changing front end of the business and trust that the back end is in great hands. They are always improving the software and adjusting to change .

Cons

I have yet to have anything come up that was not taken care of in less than 10 minutes. Honestly they are on top of their game and everybody I've spoken with is nice... ( big thing for me)

I was looking for a more functional booking system. Fareharbor offered support all the way. They set the entire process up and tailored it to my needs. I had excellent online training and continued 24hr support after that. The staff are very friendly, helpful, knowledgable and patient.

Pros

The company did all the set up so it was customer-friendly and Admin easy

Cons

it can be intimidating to start with a whole new software system

My guides can check their schedules. I can take the system with me and check up on availability. The ease of making a reservation by the customers is great and if I have questions I just call and the staff is extremely helpful.

Pros

The custom, automatic email confirmations, reminders and follow ups are great. We love that we can take the system wherever our phones are and it gives us a tremendous amount of flexibility.

Cons

It's not that I like it least, but I would like to be able to schedule guides for days off in the calendar. I have a work around but if I can add crew to a day I'd like to be able to block crew off for a day as well. I'd also like to be able to sort my pickups on the manifest in the order they get picked up

Pros

We used to schedule all our rides over the phone, but with FareHarbor we are able to direct our clients to buy their rides at their convenience. We are very happy with FareHarbor!

Pros

We like FareHarbor because it has made the process of scheduling trail rides and lessons at our farm much easier. Lots of clients that schedule their rides through FareHarbor comment on how easy it is to follow. It is also easy to customize and add to the items as we need to. FareHarbor's customer support is always willing to help and it's easy to understand their instructions.

Cons

It took us a little while to learn how to use it but I have no complaints.

Pros

This has been a life saver for our small rafting business. It does almost everything!! The support staff was great in helping set this up for us and I helped build it which was a great way to learn the system. This res system has truly made our lives easier and has unified our company. Can not thank them enough. Our guides and reservationists LOVE it. I do almost everything in my iPhone and it is very comparatively with the small screen. Fareharbor is wonderful and I recommend them to everyone.

Cons

There is little I do not like. I wish there were additions to the system like being able to send invoices with in the system and a way to track employees and all there certifications and renewal dates.
