FareHarbour is a relatively easy to use booking platform. It's reliable and it works. Support is excellent.

Cons

It can be a bit complicated to navigate when seeking functions away from the basic diary - but there is a lot useful on it.

Hi, as Owner Operator of my business I wear many hats and oversee all aspects. Not having enough time was a constant struggle. With Fare Harbor I am able to streamline all reservations, confirmations, scheduling, collecting payment, keeping employees informed, forecasting, detailed reports and many many more. The amount saved to focus on operations has only improved my business. Also, my business has a better "first look" to potential customers with the easy and straight forward online reservations. Zach, President of Fareharbor and David, Account Manager for Hawaii are super awesome! Initially before we started using fareharbor in 2013, they had asked us what features we are interested in a booking/reservation system. They worked with us to accommodate our daily booking needs. They also manage and promote our website to encourage more sales and more income for us.

\- Affordable - Great Customer Support - Easy to Use - Integrates with our daily operations and Affiliates smoothly - Credit Card transactions go straight to our Account - Easy Invoicing so Affiliates can pay us quicker

Cons

These guys are so helpful that every con I have come up with over the last year has been resolved.

Pros

FareHarbor has allowed us to create a web facing environment for equipment rentals and event sign-ups for our customers. Their on-boarding process made it easy to get our offerings on line and has increased our sales and customer satisfaction. FareHarbor tech support is top-notch.

Cons

This is a feature rich offering which in some cases makes the process of creating new offerings confusing when you do not do it on a daily basis. But, they have addressed this by allowing you to send in creation and change requests which are handled relatively quickly.

### "The customer service is beyond anything I expected."

Fareharbor seems to be more designed for longer tours and events. We operate a laser tag facility that runs public events every 25 minutes. The team went through and optimized their system to work with us. Rather than most companies that would ask us to rearrange how we do business to match their system. We used to operate with Bookeo, which was a good system but couldn't give us what we needed for customers to book multiple sessions with customized prices. Fareharbor went above and beyond to make their system work for us.

Pros

The versatility,customization and customer service.

Cons

No issues so far. System works well for what we need.

We have been using Fareharbor for almost a year now and have tried other companies prior. Can not say enough good things about all the help that has been given to us. All interactions have been great. It's nice to be able to directly contact the different members of their team while building your platform and when any questions arise. The Fareharbor Team can't be beat.

Pros

The highly flexible platform that can be used for a variety of rental management purposes - from one hour asset rentals to multi-day premises rentals. The user interface is pretty intuitive, virtually everything is customizable, and the business model really makes sense for SMBs who need to manage rentals of any type. Finally, the customer focus and highly responsive account managers and support personnel make this a no-brainer for me to recommend to clients in my business & technology consultancy.

Cons

Frankly, nothing. If really, really pressed, I would say that the inherent flexibility of the product can make some uses, seem a little "odd" to fit the product into their platform. But nothing that stood out.

Pros

Very responsive to questions. Helpful with implementing changes and proactive with looking for ways to increase conversions.

Cons

Cost is billed to the customer at a pretty high percentage of sale price. I wish there was a way to pay Fareharbor directly. Relatively steep learning curve; the support is helpful, but they often just do whatever I need done for me instead of teaching me how to do it. There are some tasks that seem to take way too many clicks and screens.

For us it's all about the customer experience and does it work - FareHarbor's solution for online booking is simple to use and very intuitive for the customer, it just plain works. It functions with responsive mobile friendly websites and links to Facebook as well. Further more from from the customer experience it doesn't crash, it's not buggy and it makes it easy to pay with secure level confidence. As far as the back end - we give FareHabor mega kudos for developing a robust interface that has all the bells and whistles that allows for easy expansion and the ability to be agile enough to make day of modifications on the fly. One word about the support - Epic! Our experience with the FareHarbor tech and support team is what makes us huge fans, they are responsive in real-time with a friendly, informative reactive staff. They operate with a sense of urgency, of education and patience. From the user side we believe that this is the strength of FareHarbor's brand. We strongly recommend FareHarbor and are greatly satisfied with the product, the brand, our experience with the staff and our growing bank account.

After extensive research, we decided to try FareHarbor. The software is customized to my business, super easy for customers to book, our somewhat technically challenged staff was able to use it with ease, and has saved me hours of playing phone tag trying to book customers. The FareHarbor staff is INCREDIBLE! We had a few afterthoughts, and were able to make some changes with one or two phone calls. We have office staff, a bus driver, upriver people and downriver people. All of our staff can now see from our phones or tablets when customers check in, what time they get in the river, time they get out, and charge for lost or damaged equipment with a few clicks. I feel like I have a partner with FareHarbor!

Pros

NOT SPENDING HOURS ON THE PHONE! EASE of use for the customer and our staff. All staff can see the schedule with to the minute changes. Increased sales. FareHarbor support has the BEST support team I have ever dealt with.

Cons

I honestly can't think of one bad thing. Before writing this review, I requested a small change to accommodate child pricing. Alex is already working on it 33 minutes after emailing him!

Pros

Easy for my customers and for my year end accounting. The descriptions and presentation of my tour offerings is also very professional and probably helps sell the product.

Cons

Not ideal for my kind of business. I offer a variety of tours, durations, and start times. If I have to block out dates or parts of dates, it can get tedious. But it works well enough to keep me in. And I'm not a big volume business so I appreciate FareHarbor putting up with me.

Customers can book a tour anytime of the day or night without speaking to me. I enjoy speaking with customers, but many like the convenience of booking at 2 am!

Pros

The best feature is that our customers can see our availability and pricing before, or instead, of calling.

Cons

I still have to watch our bookings very closely. There is still chances of double-booking between the software and call-in bookings.

If i had to look hard to find a con i would say it would be the resources area. Needs a lil easier way to eliminate inventory in the same frame as our bookings

### "Great Customer Service, Ever Improving Software"

Yes, FareHarbor asked me to write this review. When I read the title of their email request, "Quick FareHarbor Favor", I honestly thought that they were writing to kindly ask me to only send their customer service one email per day or to ask that I try to get my ideas together in a more cohesive request before emailing. I was relieved that they were merely asking me to write my experience here, which I am very happy to do! My family and I own an adventure park in Idaho. We sell park tickets, rent mountain bikes and river tubes in the summer and book sessions for snow tubing in the winter. Here's how it works: I come up with an idea and, POOF!, they come up with, and implement, solutions! I have figured out enough to do some things on the back end of the software and they let me run with it, even clean up the messes I sometimes make. They are all software and code (?) geniuses with great personalities. I have reviewed and tried a couple of other reservation programs and they were unimaginably more expensive than FareHarbor, had less functionality, and didn't feel like they had the personal touch. I know they are constantly improving FareHarbor and tweaking a few little things to make it even better. I recommend talking to them before buying a tablet for running credit cards at a remote location because not all tablets work with the software. Also, check out their online waiver integration that's a huge time and paper saver! FareHarbor is just about perfect!

I had tried multiple different software platforms before using Fareharbor. It was a joke how many different problems that I encountered for my business. I am so happy that Fareharbor was created. Their customer service is SO FAST and EFFICIENT (it is actually pretty amazing). 100% recommend any company that offers tours/reservations to use them.

Easy. Simple. Efficient. The biggest PRO is their customer service. It is incredible

Cons

There is no reason to have a, "20 character minimum" for this section. There are no Cons.

I couldn't be more happy with the services we get from Fareharbor. They are always friendly and helpful. They always reply quickly. The software is super easy to use and if it's not they do the work for you.

Pros

It's very user friendly and has a lot of features. The price is amazing. It looks very neat and tidy to customers. It looks very professional. It's simple to understand. Checking my bookings is a 5 second process.

Cons

Can't think of any cons. The only one I guess is that changing a product on the calender isnt super easy but once you figure it out its never really hard again.

Forecasting our daily tours and communicating to guests visiting our distillery.

Pros

The ease of operation on a day-to-day basis. Efficient system for taking reservations and assiting with scheduling.

Cons

I struggled with some of the larger scheduling edits. Some additions and retractions were carried over by my previous manager (not Fareharbor's manager), and I had trouble solving the issue. Customer Service immediately solved my problem though.

The add-on integrations were really good.

The overall user interface just did not seem to live up to what other products on the market can offer. Also customer service took a lot longer to respond then some other booking softwares.
