We switched from another booking agent to FareHabor in the middle of our season in July and the transition was essentially seamless. There were some bumps here and there but otherwise we didn't have any problems. I would say the pros are the easiness of using the system and how quickly it was to learn how to use it. I love how easy it is to open up tours on any given day and that once we learned how to create items, it's been easy to create them. It's also great that with only a few clicks we can close a certain number of tours. Here are some cons: It would be nice to be able to easily change the pick up times and locations by tour date, rather than having to create an entire new custom field group. Also, when printing booking receipts it would be nice to be able to choose whether or not to show booking notes so things can be easily explained to the person who does our finances. Right now if someone uses a gift certificate or cancels a reservation and they receive refund we have to manually write it. It would nice if any internal notes (gift certificate number, why they were refunded) could be listed.

We've never had to contact customer service for complaints. We've only contacted FareHarbor staff to request additions to our booking details and when we needed staff training information. The customer service agents are very helpful and informative. The turn around time for requests are quick (usually within 48 hours depending on the request). Thank you to the FareHarbor team for exceptional service!

We have tried other booking systems for our three tours but have never been as satisfied as we have been with the simplicity and quality of FareHarbor. It's easy to use for us, our staff, and our customers and we saw an immediate jump in business after we switched over from the company we used before. I have highly recommended FareHarbor to friends who are also in the tourism business and promise that if you try them out, you won't be sorry!

Pros

Easy to use (once you get the hang out it), easy to explain to customers, works well for our guides, great customer support.

Cons

Took a little getting used to, but it was worth it. My only complaint is the multi-step system needed to check in customers with the app. This could be streamlined

Overall I have enjoyed using this when booking trips on fairies and boats, it makes the process simple and easy to use with a well laid out website.

Pros

Fare harbor makes buying tickets for sea travel simple and easy. The boxes they provide make it easy to fill out the necessary information for your tickets and contact information. They also send notifications of when an item was purchased to your email so you can confirm it was completed successfully.

Cons

The only issue I have with Fare harbor is that I wish they would accept Paypal payments, this would diversify the amount of payment options available to consumers.

The system is very easy to use, the staff response times are excellent, the processing fees are cost effective and the company focuses on delivering a product that is scalable and fits the needs of YOUR business. We have used other booking/reservation systems in the past and they simply cannot compete with the superior product and service that Fareharbor provides. If your organization is looking for a booking/reservation system, this is the group that you should be speaking with.

Groovin' Gears was just what our start up needed. While they are still a growing and developing company, the features their booking software offers are perfect for our Party Bike tour company. I am able to schedule tours from my personal computer or cell phone, as well as process payments or refunds, and check the status of already scheduled tours. We have been using FareHarbor for a little over 2 months and are very pleased. If there is ever a time when I can't figure something out or have a question, the Customer Service team is AMAZING! They are always there to help walk you through if you want to fix the issue yourself, or they are happy to fix the problem on their end for you. And if they say they will call you back - they do - in a timely manner!! Our overall experience has been great, and we are looking forward to seeing all of the new additions to the FareHarbor experience that are heading our way.

It works. It is 100% stable. Easy reporting. Easy for my staff to use and easy for our customers to use. And, they have GREAT customer support.

Cons

Its the most expensive of the various ticket processing programs that we have used, but I in this particular case, you get what you pay for. Its expensive, but its worth it.

Fair Harbor have been there every step of the way as I have tailored their system to fit my business. This really is a bespoke sales system and I feel like I have not ever scratched the surface of what it is capable of.

The back end support is outstanding and the system seems limitless in its potential to adapt to how you want it to serve your business and customers.

The back end is naturally complicated, i am learning how to use it but its daunting at first... However this is totally negated by the excellent back end support staff.

I really could not give FareHarbor as a sortware and the team of people behind it enough praise. I have been more than impressed with their professionalism and the professional element their help lends to my business. I run a small scale dog sledding operation and with the cost of our overhead, I could never afford another person to answer phones and make reservations. The folks at FareHarbor came along at the perfect moment and have saved me with all they have to offer. Not only do I have more time to stay organized with daily operations, but my business has grown and is meeting the changing needs of our fast-paced society - all because of FareHarbor's incredibly adept programming and support staff. Before it could have taken me hours to get back to people interested in booking with us. Now people can get online, book for themselves and they immediately receive a professional response from the booking program. I can then follow up with them when I have a free moment. Our future guests get reminders 24 hours prior to their trip with us and they get thank yous when they are finished, with a reminder of where they can review our business and follow us in social media. I am so pleased with the positive direction working with this fine team of people has taken our team of people and dogs!

I run a tour boat operation is a very busy tourist town. I built my business from the ground floor up with pretty primitive operations like sign up sheets in the hotel lobby and my own clipboard carried around by me. The business has become very successful and the sign up sheets were not cutting it. I was spending most of my day answering phone calls and signing people up. I switched to FareHarbor and all of that disappeared. Once I got familiar with the software, I was up and running and now everything is easily controlled and documented. I also have no problem with "No Shows" because everybody pays up front. I am very satisfied and would recommend this service to anyone with my kind of business.

Nothing really. I had to learn to bring the data into my Quick Books which took a little figuring.

I loved that there was was a free trial version that we could try before committing to the product. I also am grateful that there is online support and 24 hour support.

Cons

This isn't even really a con, but it is SO customizable that there are a lot of options and steps that you have to take to customize. It's actually a great thing that you can customize so much, it's just a lot of options!

We have had a great experience using this system ! The support is wonderful and they answer your questions at any time. There were NO hidden fees! The system is easy to use and customizable to our needs. The training on the back system was great and easy to learn the basics to get started. I would highly recommend this system!

Easy to use, the training and tech support is top notch!

Cons

There is so much to learn, a cheat sheet would be nice. Sometimes it is hard to get the system to load on my cell phone and it's not always my phone.
