Good software. Transitioning was seamless and easier than we expected. Everything is presented well and intuitive.

Pros

Presentation, multiple ways to get to where you want to be in the program, ease of use. Simple and straightforward to use. Navigation from within, while remaining on our website- without redirecting.

Cons

None. We are hoping that the fees remain competitive for the customer side and reduce as the software become more widely used.

Allows us to have a centralized place to hold all our tours and tour affiliates like TripAdvisor and Expedia!

Pros

I love the Online calendar that can be displayed directly on our home page and the completely customizable features. Pair that with the best tech support department in the business and is a no brainer.

Cons

System has a very steep learning curve and the different areas where the functions are, can be hard to find.

I operate a tour based business on Angel Island in the bay near San Francisco and I switched to in June. My first reservation based system was Acteva then Bookeo then Zaui and now finally FareHarbor. By far this reservation system is the easiest to use front and back end and the customer interface is seamless. Honestly it leaves all the others in the dust and it will save you tons of money. All booking fees are passed onto the customer and although I was hesitant at first fearing that aspect might deter bookings but that absolutely has not happened. My bookings have increased every month since my switch over. The resolution time for any serious issue has been less than thirty minutes and even minor issues are solved almost immediately. My rep, Colton Cruse, is constantly working with me to improve the customer experience and helping me look for ways to drive revenue. Make the switch today!

Pros

The support is great - they are able to create workarounds when needed, and are super responsive. The software is very flexible.

Cons

There aren't any workable methods for instructors to manage their availability which then would generate availability on the booking platform. Also, no summer camp style option. Please expand guys!

Switching up reservation systems is tough, especially when all your employees are super familiar with it and it works well enough. BUT we are so happy we switched to . Our decision was rooted in what was best for our customers as far as viewing our schedule of activities and processing payments quickly and securely. The response from our customers has been great and on-boarding our employees has been seamless. My one suggestion for them is to make it easier to view cash payments v. credit payments per occasion in a given activity type. It's easy to view revenue for a given day our activity type in total, but to break it out so we can view our 1 PM Day Sail v. our 3 PM Day sail on the same day would be pretty cool. Maybe there is a work around for that I haven't come across yet, but I know the FH team is always prompt to help me out over the phone. I had a million big and small questions when we were getting set up with FH and the team over there really took their time with me, provided great follow-up and was even able to tailor our specific system to our needs. I'd recommend them over any other big reservation system out there and have a lot of fun setting it up and training our employees.

It's user friendly back end allows employees run all sorts of tasks like reservations, charging credit cards, refunds, email confirmations, private notes and so much more. The front end modern look allows anyone to book on our website and most importantly know our availability and book online. This has allowed us to take reservations 24hrs and fill spaces quickly and win over our competitors. Think of Fareharbor as a system just like Expedia, Kayak and any of those but for your own business. The business model works great for us as they take a cut of the online reservations only. Our company gets to us the back end in exchange for free to manage the rest of customers reservations on one place. It's mobile friendly so I can do everything from my phone. Anytime I have questions or need to set up new services or tweak existing ones, the support team is quick to respond, creative and happy to help. If you are running a tour company, watersports school, rental center or anything where you need to manage clients and reservations digitally and publish your availability live online so people can book and make you money, you need Fareharbor, period.

Pros in customer service speed and support, product compatibility with our business dynamic, growth concepts and marketing strategy and booking page link. The booking page link surpasses other booking sites I have seen. Cons may be in the calendar that the guests view. I need to work with it and hear comments from more guests ongoing in order to make a real analysis. Also, it would be more streamlined in building a tour that allows for a waiting list so we don't loose potential guests. Sometimes people cancel. We always attempt to expand the number of seats when there is a waiting list. Another feature I will look for is the opportunity for guests to provide a range of alternate dates they are able to tour just in case we have to cancel a day due to low booking then we are able to move them to an alternate day.

Pros

Ease of use, the screens and layout is easy to navigate, easy to learn and become proficient. Customization capability. Reports. Automatic confirmation and reminder emails, tracking of employee input and customer communications. Canned messages make keeping our customers up to date on their activity easy and efficient.

Cons

Sometimes it loads slowly. Would like to be able to create and send customer satisfaction survey in Fare Harbor without needing a third party. Would like to be able to transfer invoice to QuickBooks.

reservation system for my small tour company has cut my time spent on booking details remarkably, enabling me to spend more time on other aspects of the business, which are critical, as time is a scarcity. Very reasonably priced for the services they offer and i did a lot of looking around. This product can handle any transaction I have encountered and is flexible enough to work with the changing needs of my business. Customer support is just a phone call away and is seldom needed. My daily tour reminder confirms my pickups each morning and new reservations are confirmed to the customer quickly and accurately. Follow up emails to the clients complete the circle . Accounting and reports are a snap . Changes are very easy to make and payment is in the bank within 2 days. The initial demonstration of the software is very straight forward and transparent. Do your company a favor and give these people a listening to.

has always been there when I needed them and they've helped me so I didn't have to do the work myself.

Pros

I'm able to get through things "Farely" easy :) I'm no html pro, but this software is pretty understandable to navigate.

Cons

Adding pictures for items only allows you to add once a day. If you didn't like how it looks, and remove it to add a different one you cannot and have to wait until the next day.

has worked very well for our small Adventure Park. An affordable option, the quality and ease of use of the software has far exceeded our expectations. We have used 3 reservation systems including Xola and for the price, FareHarbor blows away the competition. The only drawback is due to growth, dealing with particular questions with an account manager is difficult at times. That said, they have a 24 hour customer service line that we can call if we have anything pressing. I have used this service on more than one occasion and can say that FareHarbor is the best program we have come across and we hope to continue our partnership for years to come. This isn't a knock on other systems on the market. I am sure each has their own advantages. But after countless hours of research, trial and error, and subscribing in other years, FareHarbor has earned our business.
