### "Great Booking Software!"

was wonderful! We are an Escape Room in Pennsylvania. We began our business using Bookeo, as that is what almost every escape room in the area and ones we'd been to used. FareHarbor contacted us, gave us a demonstration, and we fell in love. They completely set everything up for us so we didn't lose any bookings in the process since our service was never down. They then incorporated into our website for us. It was great and their customer service has always been great even now!

Pros

They truly have some of the best customer service around. They are available 24/7 to call or email and return your calls or emails within the same day. Sometimes they will even set it up for you which is wonderful when I'm in the middle of working a busy day. Then I can always give them a call to ask how it works or how I can adjust it that way I can learn when I get a break. Both the customer view and the behind the scenes view is extremely clear and easy to work with. Rarely do we have customers confused on how to book/reserve something, unless they truly don't know how to use a computer to begin with.

Cons

I wish they would incorporate something that would allow customers to immediately book another room/service/tour/etc. Maybe even just a link. It would be really awesome if you could add another thing to your "cart" per say and pay all at once instead of making multiple bookings. Another thing that would be nice is almost an employee area like a scheduler system. This way employees could request time off and see large sections of times that they are working. Currently, you can assign them to a reservation but it would nice to have them be able to look and see they work 11am-4pm rather than see they are assigned to a 11:30am, 12:00pm, and so on appointments.

So easy. I run two businesses using the platform. They are constantly adding new features and making it better!

Pros

Amazing customer service. Real people on the phone to help 24/7. Easy program to learn with lots of custom options.

Cons

It costs the person who books online 6%, which can be quite a lot when a private charter is a couple thousand dollars.

Pros

I think it adapts perfectly to the web and makes us companies that understand the problems with reservations.

Cons

I think that all programs are improvable, especially in changing schedules and reservations, they should be more intuitive, that is, be in the reserve and be able to change the time and date.

We just finished our first busy season with . We use it for Kayak Tour and Kayak Rental reservations. We use The Booking Ninja for our phone support, and they are experts on FareHarbor (they recommended it to us). Between the two companies, we now are freed from answering phones, and can focus on making our tours the best they can possibly be. There are cheaper solutions out there, but they lacked some of the rich features that we needed. Here are my comments: ' Very powerful tool ' the only one that we found that could handle our need to seamlessly share kayaks between tours and rentals. This let us move our kayak rental reservations to the web, saving us a lot of work on our end. ' Not as intuitive as some other options. Some of the more powerful features work, but are not easy to understand from my end. Fortunately, we use 'The Booking Ninja' for our phone reservations, and they are experts on FareHarbor, and handle most day to day modifications for us. The FareHarbor staff did the original setup and handles any modifications that are beyond the Booking Ninja's capabilities, so the complexity is not as big a problem as we feared. ' Tool is steadily improving with new capabilities. These improvements have let us handle more complex scenarios without having to jump through hoops. ' Support has been very responsive. We work through our representative for most things, but can also simply call or email the support team.

Pros

Very powerful features. This lets us handle our most complex needs. This is why we moved to .

Cons

Some of the powerful features are hidden from the casual user, so it is not always intuitive when a change is needed. Fortunately, we can just let The Booking Ninja or support know what we need, and they will do the necessary changes.

Exceptional.

Pros

's ticketing system is perfectly suited to our walking tour business. It integrates with our online ticketing agents and provides a comprehensive range of functions which make running our business much easier than before. Their support are absolutely amazing in terms of response times, their skillsets and ability to troubleshoot. Their FAQ pages are genuinely helpful (a rare thing!), and we have had the same contract manager since the beginning who is genuinely interested and engaged with our business, which helps to reinforce our relationship. Their payment schedule is perfect for us and the platform is exceptionally stable, meaning we have never missed a sale.

Cons

We genuinely have nothing negative to say about it.

### "Best Decision Ever!"

It has increased our quality and quantity of performance. It has also increased our likelihood of online sales.

Pros

The flexibility of the system is so incredible that you are able to "slice your cake" 100 ways. It can be overwhelming but liberating at the same time. You don't have to change your processes to fit in a pre-designed box (for the most part). Another plus is the team's work ethic... it is something to be proud of partnering with. Finally, and by far the most impactful and important accolade is their commitment to making it easy on your customers. What is better than making it easy for people to buy what you are selling? They have an entire department that is dedicated to this goal. Overall, the best systems conversion we've made ever.

Cons

With flexibility comes complexity. It is a very complex system to learn, which can be a little paralyzing if you like to have total control. However, their support staff is 100% willing to do make the changes you need if you are ok with giving the controls over to them.

We have been very satisfied with and it's excellent team who are always ready to help us with any changes or questions. The system itself has made our booking process and back office system become super smooth and faultless

Pros

The software is easy to use. It has a very professional looking booking interface which has generated great conversion rate for our online bookings. We also like that it has API connectivity so that all bookings from our partners goes straight into the system and thus saves us lots of time.

Cons

Every now and again there's a product update and it means we can't access the bookings. It's a little annoying that it mostly falls in the European openings times. But this is something that rarely happens.

I have nothing but praise to sing for Farharbor. My account manager is very responsive and anything I ask for is executed promptly and efficiently. I certainly don't feel like a number and love the personal touch that Farharbor brings. My account manager offers marketing advice and tells us of new ways to increase sales as they appear on the market. The software is great and we have had no issues.

Pros

It works. The pages are quick to load. There is so much functionality. I love that rebooking is so easy as are refunds and amending bookings and payments.

Cons

I find with so much functionality it can be really difficult to navigate behind the scene and a little too complicated and time consuming to figure out where things are or how to set things up.

Our overall experience with has been a positive one. We received excellent customer service in our building process. The software has been a positive change for us. We do our work year round but with varying availability & different offerings. There are still some things to work out for our future offerings but we feel the foundation has been laid out well.

Pros

My favorite part of this software was that it is easy to customize. We are a weather dependent experience so how simple refunds & rebookings were was also exciting to us.

Cons

There are 3 things we would change: 1. Being we are weather dependent, it is challenging to move a custom package from one day to another. If a feature to move the whole experience with the ease of a date change option could be made, we would LOVE it. 2. Some of our experiences are dropping passengers off & picking them up days later. It is challenging to link reservations. 3. We use"New Booking For Contact" for our frequent passengers. However, it would be easier if we had a consolidated database with all of that information.

### "Best customer experience I've ever had"

Increased conversion rates, fully built website free of charge, no up front fees.

Pros

Not only is the software aesthetically appealing and easy to use, it's also got the most helpful customer service staff I've ever encountered. I email at 12pm on a Saturday, I get a callback from my rep an hour later.

Cons

While the price is right for the size of my business now, the 6% fee will surely become more of a pinch as my business matures. Also, the customer service is so good sometimes that their urge is to keep you from tinkering...and just do the job for you. It's a nice gesture, but sometimes I want to break things in order to learn a bit more about them.

We've been using for over a year for our massage business, allowing customers to see our availability calendar live online as well as book online. We also use it to run credit card authorizations or deposits to secure appointments.

Pros

Excellent customer service. staff set up most of our account for us, trained us in use of the system and how to further customize it to meet our needs. Mobile friendly, though we're patiently anticipating their new mobile app to further improve the mobile booking process. Very competitive rates. When Fareharbor recently received a rate reduction from their processor, they passed the savings on to their customers.

Cons

We sometimes experience delays in loading on the site, particularly on mobile devices. Much of this may be attributable to inconsistent internet in our region. We're hoping the mobile app will help improve this.

We have greatly increased our bookings by using as a booking system on our website.

Pros

The software doesn't have any glitches/bugs which means people can book the tours with just a few clicks and it always works - cross browser, tablets, smartphones, etc. This has greatly increased our bookings. Very easy to use, we learned how to navigate and use the software in just a few hours. Extremely rapid customer service which is crucial when you are running a tour company and need extra help or have a question.

Pros

1\. Extremely easy to use- Each feature was intuitively built in a way that any user can quickly understand the key functions of the software. 2. Customer service is outstanding- Fare Harbor stands alone in the industry in the support and education of it’s clients. From a live training session with a real human being, to a huge online library of video and copy resources to 24 hour service help, there’s simply no one out there that cares for the success of it’s tour operators than Fare Harbor. 3. The software works seamlessly in every aspect both on the back end and client facing interfaces.

Cons

This software is perfect. I would not change a thing.

Very, very positive. From the very first call to redeveloping my website, have been instrumental in the success of my business which may not have happened so easily with my previous set up.

Pros

Easy to use. Customer service is beyond excellent! Account manager is available to work on constantly improving and updating how i use the system.

None really. Maybe a method to follow up tbose who almost complete a booking but don't.

Online bookings available 24/7 with no worry of overbooking.

Pros

Pros: It is great to be live online and allow guests to reserve at their convenience with no chance of overbooking. It is wonderful to be able to see what is happening to reservations while at home or on the go. Customer service is always very friendly and helpful. All of our staff has liked the ease of booking and check-in. We were very happy when they unrolled the shopping cart feature. We were with our old reservation system for many years, but have found it pretty easy to adapt. Report section has a lot helpful information.

Cons

There is a learning curve to creating and changing items. I have found it easier to call customer support for some of the big changes. Discount application could be better. We have some fees that can't be discounted so have to manually add the discount to every person instead of once for the group. Time consuming when making a large reservation. We have also found that loading large reservations is slow. While you can schedule staff, there is no clock-in/clock-out feature which would be great for hourly employees. We would also love for guests to be able to see and adjust their reservations and for to build an online store that integrates into the system. Needs better integration with SmartWaiver.

Overall, very happy with FH and as mentioned previously, the support team is extremely responsive. Also very helpful and very friendly to work with. Never condescending or over technical in their responses.

Pros

I like the ease of use and quickness of FH reservation making, the integration with other activity providers' systems, which reduces the workload of our staff of taking reservations, and also the streamlined invoicing. The super quick and friendly support responses are much appreciated. I love the ability to be able to provide special pricing through personal links for groups, and that it notes these reservations on the manifest for easy identification.

Cons

The reporting features are fairly cumbersome with all info coming in, and having to drill out what you don't need, instead of the opposite of entering the parameters of only what you want. Reporting does not offer time period comparison features either, such as YOY or YTD reporting. Of course this can be accomplished by running them separately, though..

### "Changed Our Life!!"

My wife and i run a small tour company in New York City and for the first 5 years of being in business we did everything manually. By this i mean we answered every tour request by email. A part of me justified this by feeling that we were a hands on company that wanted our customers to feel that they were actually dealing with a human being on the other end and not some automated system that felt impersonal. I can't tell you the amount of hours we spent answering every email. Our life was consumed by doing this and my wife and i barely had time for each other or a vacation. I had received hundreds of solicitations from software companies trying to sell us there software. They all wanted a commission off the top of our sales which we could not afford. was the first company that didn't take a commission from our sales but rather added on a small convenience fee on top of the cost of our tours that came out of the customers expense. It was reasonable and in now way felt like they were gouging our customers. Fareharbor also had the cheapest credit card rates i had ever come across and only charged us if they processed a card meaning if a customer decided to pay in cash there was no charge to us even though they were still required to leave a credit card for booking. Fareharbor worked with us very closely to customize our booking system for all of our needs and never rushed us. They took the time to make sure we were happy and well trained at using their system. There was a small learning curve but they were always available for any questions and got back to us quickly with any issues. Usually i never would even have given them the time of day when they called because i was so sick of solicitations but their sales rep and his pitch was so laid back and not aggressive like so many others. I believe it took us almost 6 months to make the decision to actually work with them and never did they waiver in their patience and politeness. They never over called and let me come to them. Essentially they let their product sell itself because it's the best i've seen out there to this day. As well as having a great product which had made my life so less stressful these guys are the nicest bunch of guys to work with. Thank you Anders and the whole family at Fareharbor for helping us to breath a bit easier everyday and for also allowing vacations back into our lives that we now can take again knowing that your service is at the helm of our company.

is the single best software purchase I have made for my business. It has streamlined my whole booking procedure. I was using an antiquated system - trading countless emails with guests and chasing leads non-stop. FareHarbor is so much more efficient and saves me countless hours. Moreover, FareHarbor's software can be tailor suited to your individual business needs. FareHarbor has allowed me to capture all necessary customer information and forms upfront! In addition, as a web-based application, I can access my booking calendar from anywhere in the world that has internet connection - so I am always connected no matter where I go. However, the best part about FareHarbor is the customer support and help! There 24/7 phone support is amazing - and it's real people, not automated. When I transitioned to this new software, I relied heavily on the helpline support - they are fabulous! Also a special thanks to one of the customer representative in the Channel Development team who has worked so hard on my behalf training my agents on how to use the software system!! The Fresno RiverSport Center needed online registration software that could accommodate the wide variety of programs and events that we offer as a non-profit organization. Over the past 4 years, we tried 3 different services only to find that they were not adaptable to our needs When we decided to give a try I was amazed by the level of support I received. They assigned me a customer service representative and took considerable time to understand our organization and its programs. Using this information, they assisted me in the creation of our online registration page that incorporated all of our events and their unique requirements. FareHarbor met our requirements and exceeded all our expectations! FareHarbor has made the registration process simple for our customers and provides all of the information we need to provide them with a great event. Since we have been using FareHarbor I have not received one complaint about our event registration process! From a management perspective, it has made my job a whole lot easier. All event information is readily accessible for customers reducing calls for information. Canned messages are sent to customers upon registration, 24 hours prior to the event, and upon the completion of the event. As a result, our registration attendance ratio is close to 100% and we are able collect customer reviews for all events. The integration with SmartWaiver has allowed us to transition from paper waivers and obtain signed online liability waivers that are safely stored, easily accessible, and noted on the event manifest. FareHarbor has also allowed us to assign staff to events based on event registration and automatically send event notices and reminders to them. This has given me a whole lot of extra time that allows me to get out of the office, away from the computer, and do what I love, paddle my kayak with our customers! I wholeheartedly recommend FareHarbor for organizations and businesses needing awesome online registration software.
