Fareharbor helps me to organize my bookings, it makes me save time, and I feel that there is a whole team that helps me find solutions to optimize the way my business works. Support is very fast and helpful responding questions. The team has been extremely helpful in customizing the product for the specific needs for my business.

Pros

This software is very usefull for muy business because it's exactly the solution I was looking for. It helps me to organize my bookings, makes it possible to receive online payments, and makes it possible to grow and develop as a business. The system is very user friendly, its easy to manage bookings and support is very fast and helpfull when I have a question.

Cons

One feature is still missing for me, and that would be the possibility to add guides to bookings in a direct way, instead of adding guides to ‘availabilities’.

Everything . As the marketing / media coordinator for a tour / activity based resort, it's important to have a reliable software system that is easily navigable for both users AND consumers. Our company made the switch over to Fareharbor 3 months ago and since then have seen a huge increase in both online bookings & workplace efficiency. From the user's point of view, every tour and activity calendar is easily accessible through a simple yet responsive & comprehensive dashboard. Creating over the phone bookings couldn't be easier - computer literacy among-st employees is no longer an issue & time spent on fixing user - errors is non existent. The customer support we've received has been nothing short of phenomenal. One of the customer representative has gone above and beyond to make sure that we are not only set up to succeed but STRIVE in our industry. The thought of calling in to customer support doesn't automatically overwhelm you with anger - instead you know you'll be talking to a staff member who has familiarized themselves with your company allowing them to provide specialized insight. From a consumer standpoint, it's all there - a professional, informative, and painless online booking process. The overall Fareharbor experience has been the right choice for our company. I would highly recommend this software. Customer support is excellent their staff are quick to reply and help with any situation that arises.

Pros

My first concern going "live" would it be easy or hard? It was easy using Fareharbor, all the hard work is done using this software. It was a smooth and quick implementation using this software, it keep us up-to-date with the latest tools.

Cons

Some features are not user friendly however most have a video clip explaining its features, I'm sure these will continue to be improved.

I like the fact that the software is free to use for the vendors. We have a lot of things to do in order to run our tours and the software side is not one of the things where we want to spend very much time. I like that they agreed to build my website. I also like that I am able to book other tours more easily than ever before.

Cons

It's not very user-friendly at all. I don't have time to read the manual for this. I have to keep asking for help on how to set things up. Other interfaces that I've used have been user-friendly, but they weren't free to use. Fareharbor is building my website for free (which I appreciate), but it takes months to get a picture changed on my webpage ( they never let me know when my website was complete and it wasn't well made). I might be looking to switch soon if it doesn't get fixed.

So far good, but the transition is tough. Our old booking system was so much easier to use but of course we didn't have more than one resource allocated to a room.

Pros

Resource allocation is the reason for us switching. We now have the ability to book our escape rooms, birthday parties, and sell gift cards all from one spot, Before we could only sell our arcade portion. The customer UI is amazing.

Cons

Their is currently no integration with Springboard VR. Ability to use a resource for a custom amount of time should be an option just so we can on the spot make a resource unbookable if we need to for walkins in a quicker manner.

Cost effective, fully customisable solution for my small but growing tour company in Northern Ireland. Excellent customer support, technical knowledge, friendly account managers and aftersales assistance. Makes marketing and selling my products a breeze, content in the knowledge that my account manager is there for support and assistance, whatever the issue.

Pros

The software vendor really holds your hand throughout the set up process, all the while ensuring that you learn how to work the system back end and tailor-make the solution for your business. Excellent customer support with easily available, informative and friendly account managers. I cannot fault the system or the support.

Cons

Like all such software solutions, the back end is a tad clunky, but the more you use it the more intuitive it becomes. Of course there is always the brilliant support from the account manager when you hit a wall!

My main business problem was direct online bookings, and we have experienced a 60% growth year to year comparison. Additionally, our second challenge was reducing the time spent on the phone with customers (call centre activities) and this has been decreasing by 40%.

Pros

Customer support does a brilliant role in adapting to business needs. Flexible adaptation to different markets requests. The platform is reliable and has high availability.

Cons

Channel management is not excellent. Revenue management is not its strongest point. I have not seen many yields and revenue functionalities.

This program is easy to use for administrators, users and online users. Very adaptable. We will find more uses for this program in the future.

Pros

This program is a workhorse! We started off using it to allow guests a booking venue online for the beach. We now use it for the beach, online and in house sales, for our scarecrows with no cost, an for online booking of our Rydables. Each year we add more to this program. Extremely easy to add or subtract items into the program.

Cons

We had an issue trying to get a surcharge added onto an item. I believe we have solved this issue now.

Aloha, my name is Pepe Trask, the General Manager of Kauai Plantation Railway, on the island of Kauai, and I am responsible for the entire & successful operation of the railway, including marketing and ticket sales. We have been in partnership with FareHarbor, FH, since early June 7, 2015, and they have proven themselves to be trustworthy, caring of the success of our business, the peace of mind of our customers, and they have helped us to double our customers and sales. Prior to our partnership with FH, I was hands-on regarding taking reservations, and no money was collected from our customers until they actually checked-in for the train ride. And although I knew there must be a more efficient, effective, and effortless way to secure pre-bookings & payment, I did not know who to call, or how to get there. And, I did not trust the daily deluge of companies who promised to double our business & profits if we only signed up with them immediately!! Adding the FareHarbor software to my tour/party/transportation boat business has resulted in a 5-fold increase in cruises booked. It has resulted in a significant decrease in labor costs for booking. Customer love it and it has had a significant positive impact to our bottom line. I have gone to other friends in the business and suggested that they talk with FareHarbor, but they are unwilling to change from taking reservations over the phone and using a pencil. The benefits to our business include: There is a growing segment of customers that would rather book using their smartphone or computer. They resist spending valuable vacation time on the phone. For customers that insist on a telephone conversation, the FareHarbor system allows me to delegate sales and booking to others without sharing a paper calendar. We get paid in full up front which reduces cancellations and no-shows. Hotels appreciate the ability to look at our availability online. No payments or paperwork on the boat. We just checkin on the tablet. The office can see the manifest and how many adults/children checked in so if there is an issue the Coast Guard will have an accurate count. Customers stay on our site under our control The system cost is extremely reasonable The system is very high quality. We have had no problems related to downtime or software bugs The system is easy to use, but we do need assistance from time to time. Their support is outstanding. We get either immediate or within the hour response. They are willing to make the setup changes and let me know when they're done or walk me through the steps so that I can do it myself next time. The only suggestion I would make is that I would like to see them add a way to waitlist passengers until the minimum count is reached in order to stay profitable. I will continue to recommend the FareHarbor system to my friends.

Pros

In the past we worked with paper only and Excel like Dinosaurs. Since we switched to Fareharbor everything changed. The software is well thought out and runs as intended. Support team is the best we've dealt with yet! 5 stars only for them because we can't give more stars. Everything about the product is very user-friendly, but the best part is the customer support. They are patient and very willing to guide you through the system. They helped integrate everything into our website and we started booking immediately after the setup. FareHarbor is so easy to use.

Cons

Nothing so far. Its a great piece of software. Nothing to complain.

None of them compare to FareHarbor, here's why: Cost - lowest cc authorizing fee, no monthly fee to me, manageable cost to customer at 6%, ease of use - intuitive and clean, high conversion rate for bookings white-labeled - the booking window integrates seamlessly to your website, no secondary window or third party phone system to call in to customizable - custom fields let you ask all the questions you want extensive reporting - you can seriously run a report on anything affiliate program - most extensive affiliate marketing program out there. Connect with other FareHarbor operators or create affiliate accounts with locals businesses, concierge and referral partners. It's very easy to set-up and track ultimately increasing bookings customer service - they go above and beyond to answer your questions quickly and even help with things like web design and integration, top notch! Anders, Jane, Christi, Raleigh, Max, Gabe ... everyone there makes you feel like they're a part of your team backend - They've streamlined the way we manage our business, easily assign crew to tours with manifests, private tours are simple to book and notes with special instructions are easy to attach, see what tours you have bookings on, which guides are assigned to tours etc. In summary, every system has it's pros and cons but FareHarbor has the most pros of all the other systems. They're growing fast and are committed to improving the system daily. Their attention to detail and commitment to exceptional customer service made them a simple choice for me. I challenge you to find a better system or just take my advice and go for them right off the bat.

We started our hot air balloon ride company in May of 2014. We tried 2 other booking companies before choosing FareHarbor. First, they assigned us a transition person who set up our account and services. Made sure the prepayments from our other software was accounted and credited to the correct ride/passengers. Secondly they helped in integrating FareHarbor booking into our website. Third, I have called support a few times and have always received timely solutions and answers. FareHarbor continues to update their software and add additional features. Recently we added affiliate (3rd party) services and gift certificates. 4 stars for ease of use. (needs improvement) Finding the area to change, update or add is not always intuitive BUT 5 Stars customer support has always been there to help!

quality product that the vendor continues to be responsive to update and support

Not intuitive. steep learning curve. Although support is there to help

Good they are very helpful, great customer service and willing to take input and grow.

Pros

Customer service. They are very helpful in helping develope the back end for your tour websites. Big pro that competition does not have is flexibility in deal with handling booking needs with time conflicts.

Cons

There are some flexionilty issues especially when dealing with gift card options, private bookings and othe custom needs that other booking sites have. Such as allowing a certain tour to only be booked with if customer has a code for private parties. And or allowing blackout dates for discounted gift cards.
