Overall, ResMan is a solid property management system that does a lot well, especially for managing leases, resident accounts, and reporting. It’s clearly built for larger portfolios and has the tools needed to run day-to-day operations efficiently. Once you learn the system, it becomes a dependable platform that keeps everything in one place. That said, there is a learning curve. Some processes take more steps than they should, and certain features aren’t always intuitive. It’s not the kind of system you can jump into without training, but once you’re familiar with it, it does its job well.

Pros

Powerful system, but not always user-friendly. This is where ResMan could improve. Some workflows feel outdated or overly complex, and newer users can feel overwhelmed at first. It’s functional, but not always intuitive.

Cons

ResMan is very thorough. It handles complex property operations, lease management, and reporting effectively, making it a strong system for professional property management teams.

It was challenging at first, especially trying to find and navigate through all the different tabs and features. The layout felt overwhelming in the beginning, and it took time to understand where everything was located. However, as I became more familiar with the system, it started to feel less complicated and more intuitive. Now, it truly feels like my own ecosystem, where each tab has a clear purpose and fits into my workflow. What once seemed confusing has become second nature, making navigation faster and more efficient with regular use.

Pros

The accessibility of the platform is one of its strongest features. I really appreciate how all third-party tools are fully integrated, eliminating the need to constantly switch between different applications or systems. Having everything centralized in one place makes navigation intuitive and significantly improves efficiency. Tasks that would normally take extra time feel much smoother and more streamlined. The integrations work seamlessly, without interruptions or compatibility issues, which enhances the overall user experience. This level of accessibility not only saves time but also reduces complexity, making the platform easier to adopt and use daily, even for users with varying levels of technical expertise.

Cons

With the new update, I don’t like how the boardroom view is zoomed in. The increased zoom makes it harder to see the full layout at once, which affects overall visibility and ease of use. Important details feel cramped on the screen, and navigating between sections now requires more scrolling and adjustments than before. This change disrupts the workflow that previously felt smooth and intuitive. While the update may have been intended to improve focus or readability, it instead reduces clarity and efficiency for users who rely on a broader view. A customizable zoom option would greatly improve this experience.

Pros

I love all the help center. Most answers can be found in the articles, but if you're having trouble finding what you're looking for the support team is amazing.

Cons

If you make a mistake on a bank reconciliation the only way to fix it is to delete and redo all the bank reconciliations that happened after the one that you have to fix.

I’ve been working with ResMan for about 6 months. I’m new to leasing, but the system has been very easy to use and navigate. There are still some functions I’m learning, but I definitely feel like I’m getting more confident with it every day.

Pros

ResMan has been a great tool for property management. It’s easy to use and helps me keep everything organized. I can quickly receive and track resident reports, and I love how multifunctional the platform is. So far, it’s been a very helpful and efficient system!

Cons

One thing I find limiting is the restricted access to certain functions. While I understand this may be due to company policy, there are some basic tasks like deleting a document uploaded in the wrong section or creating folders to better organize files that I feel should not require additional permissions. Aside from that, it’s a solid tool that makes property management much easier.

User friendly as an owner even with the new layout. I can find all information I need and KPIs for performance review.

Pros

I am an owner with read-only access but I can find all information I need and it was easy for me to adapt to the new layout.

Cons

It logs me out in only a few minutes even while I am working on it so this is inconvenient especially when reviewing financials which requires me long time logged into Resman. The search option could be more comprehensive

Resman is very basic to me, not very detailed, it could use some upgrading on pre leased percentages shown not just a number.

Pros

Its user friendly, easy to navigate and to teach new people how to use it. The snap shot of the boardroom page is great!

Cons

Its not very detailed as I would like more statistics when it comes to budget spending and notifying you if you are going over budget when inputting invoices for certain categories.

I love the training sessions for resman its very beneficial when yur learning very easy software to follow

Cons

Not being ablel to update as a leasing agent i get lots of updates for residents for example when we create our tabs for vehicles once that unit is attached to a unit you cant delete it if the resident leaves or gets evicted or what ever the case may be not being ablel to access this is sop fuifstrating

ResMan allows for easy use, great reports, good ways to "personalize" my dashboard to make moving around easier, integrates with MRI for our background checks, and the best part is the great customer service!

Pros

ResMan is such a user-friendly program with some great features (one that I like the most is the mass messaging that I can do through the software) plus great customer service! Whenever I have any question or an issue, I always get a very rapid response.

Cons

I have used many software programs and I honestly cannot think of one negative with this program.

They recently upgraded their software and it isn't quite as easy to navigate as it was previously. They still have a few things to fix, but once they do, I'm sure it will flow smoother.

Again, it is very user friendly so coming from YARDI it is a dream come true. Very to the point and there aren't 10 steps to get one task completed. It also doesn't take forever to run all the reports needed for month end.

Pros

Extremely user friendly! Easy to access reports...The initial use of Resman is simple, searching a person by name or apartment number is extremely helpful and it is the easiest to navigate in comparison to YARDI or Onesite.

Cons

Since we are a two phase property, there is no way to integrate the wait list. So, when someone gets on our wait list we have to manually enter it many times depending on the floorplan they are seeking.

It has been very easy and so far, the best program I have worked with that is very user friendly and easy to navigate through.

Pros

I love how you can easily navigate through the system. How you are able to click on hyperlinks to get to where you need to go. How it is integrated with leasing listing companies to help with the properties with leasing. Able to make corrections on invoices. Able to open up closed periods if you need to go back to a past period to make corrections. This is very user friendly and easy for even owners to see the occupancy, delinquency and trends. Applications are easy to manage through the system as well.

Cons

Some reports like the trailing do not always come out on the owner's report packet so you have to run it again separately.

Once you get the hang of it, the system is very intuitive. All solutions are available in one place.

I used a lot of software's for my job over the last 12 years. Resman has definitely been one of the easiest for me in my experience to navigate and has helped me becoming more successful and organized with daily task or finding out any information on a resident or employer.

Pros

Organization Easy to Navigate Can be accessible on your phone from a browser Budget Variance set up easy

Cons

Somethings are restricted if you're not a manager or director Make ready board and Availability can switch within a couple minutes or even hours during the day.

There tends to be a lot of small glitches. I feel there could be more options in regard to the reports section.
