Pros

It truly is a very intuitive platform once you have been fully trained.

Cons

As Director of HR I am an administrator for my company that is a broker of medical benefits. Our employees use EN to service our clients for their medical benefits setting up and managing accounts as well as Open Enrollments. Since we are all users, I do not have the ability to completely lock them out of our company account. Using the honor system and it is not a good practice.

Employee Navigator has been a great tool for our company to organize our clients information. The file feeds, while expensive, have helped take a load off our employees for clients that we process adds/terms for.

Cons

The cost associated with the file feeds directly through Employee Navigator is a bit high.

I feel the overall system would benefit any size group. There are many reports you can build that helps an employer understand their workforce population. It also empowers employees to become more aware of their benefits. This is what employers strive for with their employees!

Pros

With this being my first time using the system, I fount it to be very userfriendly for a beginner. Employee Navigator is easy to understand which helped me in building out my client's employee portal.

Cons

The only comment I have is a few of the error messages I received when uploading the census, were not that clear to me in the help section. Due to the time difference, I was not able to speak to a representative until the next day.

Reason for choosing Employee Navigator

Overall, Employee Navigator is very userfriendly and cost-effective. I like that it can be integrated with other systems and is userfriendly enough for a new user. The overall knowledge of their employees and the exceptional customer service is also a plus!

Perfect! EN makes running the HR side of any business a snap, and makes life as an Insurance agent so easy!!

Pros

I love how user friendly EN is. It is streamlined in design, user friendly and so popular, we offer to set it up and train our clients on how to use it for their day to day business needs.

Cons

I cannot honestly think of anything I do not like about Employee Navigator. EN was built for the insurance industry and is so user friendly, I can't help but to love it.

Cons

It’s been a very easy process for us to partner with Navigator. There are so many integrations and they make it so easy.

Pros

This is a great software. It I treated with plenty of payrolls, it works really well with carriers through integrations, and it makes for super easy employee on boarding.

Cons

It’s a somewhat basic user interface. They could make it a little more interesting for employees, but it does work well.

Pros

Ease of use, customization, constant updates. Payroll Integration. Complete HRIS. Use the system as you want for as little or as much as you want. Task management and employee interaction.

Cons

The system is yours to use as you want, this can be hard for some to grasp. Some carriers are not integrated yet, this is mainly because they are not up to the times of XML format. Employee navigator is working very hard to get more and more on board.

The pricing model allows us to offer this technology to many of our clients without a significant upfront investment. This provides our clients technology that significantly improves their overall efficiency and allows us to control the client experience.

Cons

I would like to see a more robust approach to testing and quality assurance. This would help us minimize the risk that a system setting has been incorrectly configured.

We have become much more efficient as an agency and the dreaded fourth quarter is more manageable. Most of our clients now handle open enrollment through Employee Navigator which has improved accuracy and reduced our processing time. Many of our clients have now integrated payroll and vendor feeds.

Pros

I was an early adopter of Employee Navigator, having used it for nearly 5 years now. I have never regretted the decision as it continues to evolve to meet the ever-changing demands of the industry, brokers & clients. This software is an integral component of our success in both managing clients and attracting them.

Cons

I wish it had an Agency Management System component and commission tracking.

Pros

The best aspect of Employee Navigator is the benefits summary. Having quick and easy access to the most important details of my employment benefits is very useful.

Cons

The only issue that I've experienced with Employee Navigator is that some of the information can be difficult to access. Everything is compartmentalized which can be helpful or feel tedious based on what you're looking for.

Helps to track your employees benefits, easy to use in terms of adding employees, or terminating employees.

Pros

Easy to use employee platform, helps to track benefits and deductions, pay raises, communicate with employees directly, answers employees questions easily about benefits, eligibility for benefits.

Cons

There’s nothing that I do not like about the software. The only thing I wish it would be compatible with our employee time keeping software and automatically load deductions for payroll.

Pros

Adding new employees was easy and locating employees in the system was good.

Cons

The software was not intuitive. I usually do pretty well with what comes next and how to locate information but htis software was not logical to me. It and me needed a lot of help.

I like that I am easily able to put in PTO and sick days in . It is also easy change and update information that I had added in previously.

Cons

I wish that there was a chat in this software so that I could ask my colleagues questions about certain admin information. Specifically HR colleagues.

Pros

Employee navigator definitely simplifies things. I like the user interface and it makes enrolling in insurances/benefits a pleasant experience.

Cons

Besides once a year, I don't use it for much. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be, but I don't see functionality beyond enrolling in benefits.

Cons

It is clunky and difficult to navigate. Employees need to be able to access their information quickly. Our people have needed additional support from HR.

I love that I am able to do so much with this software. We can manage all of our groups and clients. Make excel spreadsheets and import from excel spreadsheets.

Cons

I have yet to figure out if I can print address labels directly from here.

Reports are not the most user friendly. Admin features can sometimes be difficult to navigate. Would like to have a different connection to the various carriers for additions and terminations.

I am not sure if this question is about the company that I just reviewed or capterra. If it is for capterra, the benefits are that I can easily review companies.

Pros

I like that it is easy to use. It was also easy to learn and to pull reporting. It helps to keep benefits organized and is a great tool for employees.

Cons

It does not work with all payroll software. If you happen to have a payroll provider, you will be asked to change to a payroll provider that works with employee navigator.
