Talent Acquisition Financial Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Kira Review" February 1, 2019 4.0 Pros Some of the things I liked about Kira versus other software that I have used in the past is the ability to rate interviews and share that information with others who are viewing the same video. It allowed for easier and more streamlined calibration of candidates. In addition, the length of the videos allowed for direct, to the point statements of candidates which allowed for more manageable review time. This enables us to to see how applicants perform in a pressurized situation. Cons There is really nothing I like least; the platform does exactly what we want it to do and has become a crucial part of the application process. The customer support agent who works with our company reached out to me immediately and was very helpful. Cons I wish that there was a transcription/subtitle feature. The tool is so easy to learn how to use. Cons Would like more features to evaluate rater consistency. For example if two raters are assigned to a batch of interviews, I'd like basic descriptives on the level of agreement between the raters. Flagging disagreements would also be a great add on. I can see the usefulness and effective site structure but the ease of use isn't quite there. Pros I liked the ease of use in terms of layout, and simplicity. It quickly became easy to understand where everything was and how it tied together. Cons Uploading the videos was extremely difficult. I was running into many issues with file formatting, being unable to see if the video was updated from testing, and just overall problems reviewing the work. The video quality is also much better since it requires applicants to test their set-up prior to recording their interview. Pros Quick customer service turnaround time. The staff is dedicated to customer service and it shows. Email responses are usually less than 24 hours. Cons The only suggestion would be to improve the compatibility between Hobsons and Kira. Cons The amount of emails we receive every day. We receive emails from Kira to inform us that a candidate has completeted Kira, but the thing si that we receive from all the canadidates applying to IE not only from the ones we are in charge. As an administrator, I like monitoring the analytics section to see which stage each applicant is in during the interview process. Sending interview invites is also easy and efficient. Cons I can't think of any negatives! I have thoroughly enjoyed using this software. In the short time that we have utilized Kira Talent, I have seen that it has made a positive difference in our interview process in terms of efficiency. You're able to detect whether an individual's interview has an "integrity" issue. Cons With the above pros being said, at times when an interview was flagged it had nothing to do with the interviewee but a glitch with the system. However, customer service was very quick to respond. For our International students who used it it gave us an accurate assessment of English proficiency. Pros the abiltiy to rewatch the videos, the ability to tailor it to fit our needs, to be able to use our own faculty in the videos. Cons the set up was long, but once set up it works well. I feel that we're less likely to miss out on a great candidate because of KT. Pros Kira Talent is quite easy to use, both for interviewees and interviewers. Plus, the customer service is phenomenal.
