Features & Functionality

Pros: It was free for us to use. So, there's that.

Cons: We were asked to complete a security questionnaire by a tiny prospect. We were directed to an online questionnaire on the Abriska site., running Abriska ® v3.4.3., and given a pathetically insecure set of login credentials.

The questionnaire contained 122 questions across 14 separate categories. The instructions stated that each question not answered N/A requires a written explanation. However, there is no N/A choice option for any of the radio button or dropdown responses. FAIL.

Further, the questions repeatedly demand that we upload the relevant company policies, which are of course confidential and contain extremely sensitive information. Please note that any vendor that would upload to an unknown third party site the full suite of its security policies, procedures and practices is a vendor that is reckless and that you should not do business with. There is nothing on the Abriska site saying what would happen to these documents after they were received or in any way providing assurances as to confidentiality and proper use only.

We have completed hundreds of security questionnaires for some of the largest companies in the world. This Abriska process is the first one that I can recall that we utterly refused to complete.

Overall: Respect your customers and prospects; don't use Abriska.
