Pros
I love the ability to customize the system. I love that PaceJet is willing to work with my company to make the necessary changes.

So we wasted months setting things up and configuring things ultimately that would not work. Also they keep pointing fingers about giving us a refund.
PaceJet expects users to click keyboard buttons or scan 3-4 barcodes just to do a simple task, there is ZERO flow, meaning that when a warehouse employee completed shipping an order, there is no flow.

Pros: the ability to default to the cheapest shipping method for the size and weight of the package, as well as showing all possible ship options
Cons: wish there was more customer functionality - meaning settings and rules can be changed by the customer rather than the engineers at pacejet

Overall: I think i benefit most, by being able to ship with any vendor from the same shipping source. I can ship UPS, FED EX, and USPS from one page. No more individual software and multiple computer updates.
Pros: User friendly software, and great customer support to assist with start up . I love how it rates the cheapest option for our company and the customer. Both parties involved can save money. Its also nice how the address is pulled from our main software right into pace jet. We do not have to manually type in shipping addresses, eliminating user error. I love the TRACE OPTION to help figure out why a shipment cannot be shipped.
Cons: International shipments seem to be difficult to process. I dont technically think this is Pace Jets fault. Its just the nature of the beast when trying to ship internationally. Commodities and HTS codes can be somewhat exhausting to enter. If your company can provide these codes to the product you ship, it should make this frustration disappear, as these codes would be pulled over to pace jet from your main software.

"Biggest Joke in Shipping"
Overall: During the months long implementation process they give the user no access to add or configure carriers or other important features. They have all the settings only available to their own staff who doesn't understand very much. Then, when it was finally time to go live, my dedicated solution consultant was [sensitive content hidden], not answering emails or calls. We had no support during the go live even though there were tasks that Pacejet needed to complete to get us going. When we finally got a hold of someone, they had no idea what they were doing and provided little assistance. Post go live, we were quickly handed over to support. The support experience was the worst I have ever had. They claim to offer live chat, but just don't answer them during their supposed support hours. I was told basic functionality that was broken could only be fixed with a paid feature request. There is clearly a culture problem with this company where not understanding shipping or caring at all about customers is the way of life.
Pros: The only pro is that it could create labels for small parcel shipments fairly simply.
Cons: Other than some of the parcel shipping, everything else was absolutely terrible. The people are terrible. The software is poorly thought out and filled with bugs and the company fundamentally does not understand freight shipping. The freight shipping features do not work. The integrations are hardly functional, if it all. Some schedule pickups, some get PRO numbers, some get rates, and some are just totally broken. The company doesn't understand the difference between handling units and pieces. Simple changes they can make in their system are all paid customizations.

Pros: Pacejet is seamlessly integrated for us. The service is reliable and very user friendly. It's easy to train new employees quickly.
Cons: Reporting is not as robust as it could be. Some of the add on features are not intuitive and require support from a rep, which is not always as easily accessible as I would like.

Overall: We benefit in multiple areas. My sales reps can give quotes while the customer is on the phone. They used to have to hang up call our warehouse for shipping estimate then reach back to the customer. We are able to give our customers the best shipping option with Pacejet, highlights the best rate and gives our sales reps transit times.
Pros: 2 things I love. Shipping over 150 orders a day, Pacejet helps a streamline shipping procedures better. The software has saved us money since Pacejet tells you the cheapest shipping form. My sales reps can quote shipping right from their proposal or sales order and give shipping estimates to customers right away.
Cons: I cannot say that my company has any issues with the software. We use daily shipping large amount of packages. Never have an issue.

"PaceJet is NOT what it seems! BUYER's BEWARE OF PACEJET!"
Overall: To start off the people at PaceJet all really did seem like for the most part that they do care & they are trying to run a reputable business. However, that is where the good comments unfortunately end. Their company from the top down is very confusing. One person just points blame at the next all the way up to the [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] pointing fingers at other companies or their counterparts. Our project was completely messed up with PaceJet. We asked a lot of pre-sales questions which included going over what shipping carriers we use. We outlined our business goals and needs then were sold on PaceJet by their staff into a multi-year solution. Kicking off the project with kick-off coordinator was straight forward they went over our info again and then we went into the integration phase. By this point now 3-4 people from PaceJet had spoken with us regarding our project. The issue there was months later PaceJet then confirms that about half of the things on our list of issues that came up could not be fixed and its due to the way pacejet was designed. Things that their staff should have instantly said to us prior to even purchasing pacejet! Their staff literally configured business rules for us then that would not work at all due to the way pacejet's software flow works. So we wasted months setting things up and configuring things ultimately that would not work. Also they keep pointing fingers about giving us a refund! A nightmare stay away from them
Pros: Web/Cloud-based software - issue, however, was PaceJet did NOT work & was not stable at all!
Cons: Absolutely no user flow! PaceJet expects users to click keyboard buttons or scan 3-4 barcodes just to do a simple task, there is ZERO flow, meaning that when a warehouse employee completed shipping an order, there is no flow. A Normal system would pop-up an input box for your next order to ship, well not with pacejet and this is just one of many fundamental things you will find out when you try to do business with them. You have to scan barcodes and click buttons about 7-9 times just to do a single order if you are using scan pack verification and rate quoting, they overcomplicated the process completely and have no user flow directing the user to what step is next! They have fundamental business flow/setup things not built into their software correctly and then to make matters worst half of their staff understands the way their software works than the other half and your project will be stuck in the middle!. Software CRASHES and does not work. More than 2 times during a 3 month period multiple computers would not be able to print labels from PaceJet. The one time it took their support staff over 2.5 weeks to fix the issue and we made zero changes! Every other software we use printed labels fine, it was only pacejet that crashed multiple times and it was on different computers with different printers, so its not like they could blame the computer type/printer type. This made us very uncomfortable using their software as it was very very buggy.

Pros: Outstanding Customer service! The software makes life easier and help save money on shipping. I love it offers a several reports to analyze shipping needs. Find the best carrier for a lower cost. It allows you to consolidate shipments. It has made our shipping department easier.
Cons: Some forms are not automatic in the software and if the company need it to be generated its an additional cost. Pacejet considers this a customization forms. Their are days we need scan form sheet for USPS and this is not offered through the software.

Overall: I have worked directly with their teams to create customizations needed when needed. There are some that are not able to be made, but they are willing to work with you.

Pros: The best part about Pacejet is the ease of use and how well it works with Netsuite. Has really taken our mom and pop to the next level. It allows us to ship via multiple carriers. Has definitely helped increase our daily ship outs.
Cons: Occasional downtime, reporting could be better too. Customer service could be improved. Other than that I honestly don't have any other issues. This is a great product and works well with our main system (Netsuite).

Overall: Our production team are more efficient in processing documents, label and getting shipments out. Our CSR also benefit from being able to see and give our customer the best shipping rates in real time.
Pros: Api's are easy to use, documentations are there to help. Interface are good there are test tool that can be used to recreate shipment. Logs are also very helpful.
Cons: Lot's of room for improvement. Still waiting for Purolator certification to do 1 call return waybill

Pros: It does what we need it to do I guess. I heard however can't validate, as I don't know other software(s) that it has a smaller foot print into NAV.
Cons: Long execution on modifications. Requires users to logon each time they need to do a rate shop. Working with two vendors to provide shipping functionality is burdensome when trying to get the two to work together to resolve an issue or make a modification.
