### "Bizzabo Makes Our Life Easier Everyday! "

My company had Bizzabo for a year and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately the next year our budget got cut and we suffered significantly without our event software. We are so excited to be back on the platform and during our absence the platform has improved with new capabilities - overall we're so happy to have Bizzabo as a partner in all things event management!

Pros

Ease of use for building events, websites, emails. It's very simple and user friendly to build out these aspects and as someone who is not well versed in email campaigns and web development - this is a huge advantage to using bizzabo.

Cons

The website builder is very limited in its assets available. The only Custom Element is still pretty restrictive and can be problematic when needing a more dynamic website for events.

I feel like Bizzabo is very easy to work with. I’ve worked with a few other event management systems, and Bizzabo has been the easiest to build out, for the whole team to learn, and my Bizzabo team has been so helpful in making sure they help me with any product questions. My development team has also had a great time working with it in the backend to make sure Bizzabo meets our needs.

Pros

I love the usability and the UI of Bizzabo, for both my team and attendees. Everyone has had an easy time learning how to use it, and it overall looks so nice for our clients The integration of the widget on our website

Cons

I feel like the reporting and analytics could be stronger. I know there was recently an update on that, but I have a hard time finding the information I need regarding mobile app statistics and who’s visiting what. Specifically who’s looking at our sponsor pages, etc.

Overall, my experience was positive. I'm looking forward to another year within our contract, but would really love to know of upcoming updates well in advance, in the future.

Pros

In comparison to our previous platform... I'd say the tech support is way more SUPPORTIVE than we expected. The around-the-clock communication made things very easy.

Cons

I feel that there were some features we thought were included in our package, or at least our sales representative communicated to us, but realistically weren't, which led us to use third-party programs instead of keeping everything within the event app.

I've had a great experience with Bizzabo. We have used it for 3-4 years now, and it has been a great process. The team is great and responsive.

Pros

I find Bizzabo is easy to use and provides a great user interface. Our customers have been satisfied with our registration platform and app since moving to Bizzabo.

Cons

I am looking forward to when the paid session add-on feature is available. That will solve the only 'problem' we have.

Functionality with email outreach capabilities. We like being able to email groups we need to email and be able to follow up directly with registrants and attendees.

Cons

I wish we could create tracking links within Bizzabo for outreach instead of us having to use UTMs that we create.

I would prefer if Bizzabo could make more customizations for an individual business. It's very tedious.

Pros

The check-in app is very user-friendly. It gets a lot more complicated when connecting to badge printers, though.

Cons

Very lengthy process to set up an event and any change in information needs to be updated in multiple areas, increasing the room for errors.

I enjoyed the platforms UI a lot - it made it very easy for first time users to set up events.

Pros

It was a very simple platform to use for registration and session scheduling.

Cons

When I used the platform, I was unable to create custom reports, which is important for my role. Additionally, the ability to overwrite email addresses already in use (like if an assistant registered a speaker using their email address, and then registered themselves using the same email address) was difficult as it impacted Speaker Profiles and created churn on the backend. If it's not been implemented, I would strongly recommend a flag that does not allow two users to use the same email address on one event.

Its hardly preferred among other apps, some peeps work with Teams but keep all advertising with BB.

Pros

I like that it has multiple functionalities

Cons

it has a lot of bugs, for example: 1. When duplicate a module form the page it duplicates the information in both modules. Erasing the other. 2. Buttons doesn't accept accents in letters, for spanish is grammarly wrong to write without accents. 3. It crashes when having other apps in your desktop ON.

Average at best and having work with competitive product not one that I would advocate for.

Pros

The interface of the templates and ticket set up worked well

Cons

The clunky set up of the ERC, the lack of ability to duplicate tasks across multiple events. The lack of ability to have sponsors upload items and then when decline resubmit. The intergration of the links and websites into tasks, the inability to included images in tasks for sponsors. The fact that sponsor input would override key information that was visible to the public. The set up of the overall ERC was a complete pain and not anything I would recommend.

Great platform for the actual live event, lots of customisation available, a true all-in-one event management platform.

Cons

Can be quite confusing and overwhelming with all of the different options available and takes quite a bit of training to understand it all. Have had a lot of technical issues with live events - it seems that the success of an event is very heavily reliable on the quality of speaker's wifi/equipment.

Overall Bizzabo worked for what we needed. We did experience a critical registration failure in July 2022 at our conference in Orlando when we couldn't get all iPads to connect to printers and had to pivot to pre-printing all the badges to keep lines down. This affected our guest experience, affected our check-in data, and frustrated our team. In 2023, Bizzabo sent a tech to conference to overcome those challenges and we appreciated that commitment to getting it right.

Pros

Bizzabo offered virtual programming & virtual event management when we needed it most. The features are intuitive and didn't take a lot of training to onboard our team.

Cons

Bizzabo encountered several system outages, most critically: right after we launched registration and again onsite at conference. We tried to work with the team to understand the impact of these outages on our data and ticket sales.Bizzabo was limited in a lot of ways. For example, we had both in-person and on-demand sessions on the agenda and there was no way to adjust how they showed - it was chronological with on-demand at the very bottom. The abstract management feature doesn't work for our review process so we used another tool and imported the data. At one point the speaker widget was out of sync with the live website/app and we kept getting correction emails from VIP speakers about incorrect names/titles, although it was correct on the backend.

I am pleased with the company - we have signed on for another 2-years. I hope there are some major improvements to the streaming capabilities and polling/survey integration in the next few years that we can benefit from.

Pros

The customer service we have received is wonderful. It feels like they are ontop of helping us solve most of our problems. The price for the product also allows us to use globally without worrying about going over on usage. I like that I am not limited by log-ins which help my team to be able to all be in the platform and others within our marketing team as well.

Cons

The streaming platforms - each one is missing key features. Uploading videos, uploading a power point that allows any speaker to transition rather than just the one who uploaded. Surveys and polls not being directly in the platform almost make them useless to us - our previous platform had them pop-up right after a session which increased responses. Limitations on template features are frustrating when we are trying to create templates.

### "Solid virtual event product"

Overall it's a solid product that is comparable with other high-end virtual event software.

Pros

Easy to build a nice-looking website with multiple pages & registration even if you don't have coding/HTML experience. Customer support via email was quite responsive and generally helpful. My organization is required to use Zoom for virtual meetings and Bizzabo allowed a seamless one-click experience into our Zoom sessions from the website agenda, which provided us with much easier to use attendance data than in Zoom. The software is comprehensive and honestly provides pretty much everything you'll need for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events. The customer help site (Bizzaknowledge) had a cool upvote feature for users to support each other in getting new feature requests noticed.

Cons

Customer support was always great but it'd be nice to have a chat feature on the Bizzabo site, or even easy to use documentation on their customer help site. Our attendees in China were unable to register for our event, so it would be nice for this to be available there as well. Would sometimes experience small, random glitches; for example, with the native comms/campaign manager, where our branded colors would sometimes just not work in some emails - ultimately with no solution from customer service.

Bizzabo's robust capabilities but simple UX make it accessible for all event management teams. We are able to launch event websites in minutes by repurposing templates from past events. Their end-to-end solution means that we keep everything on one platform -- from point of sale to post-event communications and everything in between. Some of the my favorite features are are: Agenda Capabilities: Hybrid, on demand, virtual, and in-person options that works with third party streaming Website Builder: Drag and drop builder that also allows for HTML customization for advanced teams Registration Management: Easy list management with Stripe integration for payments We use Bizzabo to run our virtual and in-person events across the world.

Cons

Looking forward to platform updates in the areas of attendee networking + engagement.

Intuitive interfacer within the tool, I thought it was very easy to navigate. Also there's great documentation provided by the company around integrations.

Cons

Integration to Marketo was constantly breaking with no long term solutions from the support team despite the issue being consistent. Also, Bizzabo forms don't have contingency logic. ex: If Country > is US then Show the State field, if not, keep State field hidden.

Overall it's been great. I am on our events team and we have had such an elevated check in process since we switched to Bizzabo at the very start of 2020. Yes, we signed the contract in February 2020 right before in person events went on hold. There have been times with software switches that have been challenging for us but after looking at other like products have decided to stay with Bizzabo.

Pros

When it works, the name badge printing and easy on the spot ability to change a registrants entry information is IMO the most valuable part of Bizzabo.

Cons

I wish that adding tags to a registrant or block of registrants was more streamlined, it's fine for a small event of 50 or less but with large events, adding specific tags to a block of people is very clunky.

Each page is it's own page, it's not endless scrolling like some other event management tools are. Pages look nice.

Cons

Can’t save contact fields in a report to rerun the same report. So have to create the report each time it needs to be run.Can’t edit a list once created with contacts. Have to re-run and re-create the lists every timeDynamic lists do not work. Set criteria and re-checked and it doesn’t run correctly it is pulling canceled registrations even though I set the parameters to having a ticketChanges to page save before you even hit save and doesn’t save when you do hit save sometimes. It’s very random.Logo issue with “event logo” that pulls into random places on page and you can’t change or remove in each area it pulls into.Even though you set a schedule for an email, it keeps it in draft and makes you select send again to send which actually doesn’t make sense because you haven’t even sent itIf an email is duplicated and the email that you duplicated it from was sent to send now it automatically sends the new email as well.Had to pay a CSS contractor to do any customization to the pages. Modules and blocks weren’t very customizable.The ability to put in 2 different emails in a registration made the contact search & deletion challenging.Support did not seem very versed in functionality of the site and why unexpected behavior was happening. Support was extremely slow and it would take a few days to get answers to issues & questions. No ability to call support and no ability to email a support person directly after you had contact with him/her.

I recognize my viewpoint is very limited as primarily a developer and not someone in marketing or on other teams. We've had a bespoke system that maybe covered a good core 10-20% of Bizzabo's features and did them well enough. I'm sure the money we spent outsourcing mobile app development every year greatly eclipses what we get out of the box. We also tend to have very specific needs, so for those to be covered even modestly is a huge win. Bizzabo knocked it out of the park for this being the first year, we've always had growing pains that I just didn't hear about this year.

Pros

As a developer, the mobile app integration was huge as there were fewer hiccups during our annual event due to everything being integrated.As someone in charge of the SSO integration, the SAML pieces weren't difficult either. I had more problems in understanding than any growing pains.On-site networking in an arena is not without challenges but I heard nothing majorly problematic. We've had issues in the past with our bespoke system and competitors but this year seemed incredibly smooth in comparison.

Cons

For SSO there is some conflicting documentation but it's a big topic. It should be split between personnel and attendees as the pages are. As someone big on documentation and understanding how easily things get stale, this is a very minor nitpick anyway. The problems I ran into were solved by gaining a little more understanding. I'm actively looking for things to complain about and this is so low on my list it's almost not worth mentioning.

We had an amazing CSM (\[sensitive content hidden\]) and an amazing Klik PM (\[sensitive content hidden\]). They made this process a lot easier and helped a tremendous amount, despite the challenges we faced.

Cons

Some things I'd like to see from Bizzabo in the future:- Ability to have buyers pay prior to answering registration questions- More customization for registration form (including logic)- Better integration with klik- More customizable app- Option to use klik wearables with any registration platform

We use Bizzabo for events that are looking for just a little more pizazz! The tool is so simple and fun to use! End result, our virtual events look amazing and our attendees are really impressed with the software and feel of the virtual experience.

Pros

Bizzabo's ease of use and ability to customize and brand our events is top notch! The platform is intuitive, easy to use and elevates our events to another level.

Cons

As with any online tool, it's important to stay up to date on the changes and requirements needed to run the site. Sometimes people with very secure networks can have difficulty getting in but it can be worked through with the customer support team.
