May 11, 2026 5.0 I am not computer savvy and this website was VERY USER FRIENDLY. I would definitely use this again and recommend it to everyone. I did not need customer support fortunately and emails were sent to individuals so not exposing others email information. Pros The site is FREE. There are other "pay for" options within but I did not need them for this purpose. It showed me how many registered, and I was able to lock registration and send messages to registrants. The provided QR code was a great plus too. Cons The least liked aspect were the ads. I was afraid it would deter people, but, it was free and it didn't stop people from signing on. This was my first time using it instead of a paper sign-up for our student practical exam. Pros I am so very pleased with this program. Graduate students were signed up for our practical exam in minutes. There was no paper passing or issues. Loved the QR code and link provided for ease of use. You made it so easy for me to do my job. Sign Up doesn't have the bells and whistles, including collecting payment, like Sign Up Genius does. Sign Up would be great for the most simplistic of sign up lists; nothing to big or with too many selections/options to pick from. Wish the website site had more of a design. It's rather blank looking with just words,, not very appealing. But the functionality ultimately does what it says it will do (and for FREE) which is good all around. Pros You can easily transfer an event from one person to another person to be the owner of. I'm sorry we didn't make it more obvious, but we absolutely do offer a near-instant way to schedule a series of appointment spots - like for parent-teacher conferences, and to set up repeating schedules. Please click Help at the top of the site to learn how or to contact our support team. Since most parents (80%+) will be signing up on smartphones, our screens are designed and tested for clarity and user success. I hope you'll give us a try again in the future. When I had a parent miss their conference it was quick and easy for them to reschedule using Sign-Up. Pros It saved me hours of phone calls, creating schedules, and sending home fliers to schedule parent teacher conferences. I don't need to shop around for any other system because Signup does it all. Pros Signup.com is a time efficient way to organize volunteers for events and both short term and long term programs. The system simplified how we make contact with people through email and text messaging. Invitations to participate and reminders to those who have signed up are automatic. It is also a secure system that provides privacy to my contacts and does not share their information with outsiders. We have used Signup for 5 years at my not-for-profit organization and we upgrade to ad free for 3 months during our busy summer season. I definitely recommend investing in the upgrade! Edits are easy to make and all of the descriptions to our spots can be modified as needed. Generating printable lists and reports to use at our volunteer events are ready in a click of a button. When I forget what steps to take to find what I'm looking for, or have a question, the program has complete and simple instructions that are easy to follow. We also get monthly, in advance reminders of the billing so that makes it easy to add or remove upgrades when we need to. Cons I am of the generation that grew up prior to computer technology so for me there is no such thing as "intuitive". I sometimes just click on things until I find the menu for the report and information I am looking for. Pros Thank you for offering this service for free to educators!! I am SO grateful for your platform and truly appreciate your service. I set up my volunteer slots at the beginning of the school year and have little to no maintenance on my side to keep volunteers organized. They receive automatic reminders from Signup.com which helps them show up on time and ready to volunteer which saves me time during my busy school year!! We appreciate the ease of use and that the ads are not too obtrusive. Cons Really didn't have any problems or anything negative to say. It's just an easy to use way to organize volunteers. We need volunteers to assist students in a program called "Trout in the Classroom" that needs volunteers pretty much Monday through Fridays during April and May. The software allows volunteers to easily sign up (takes less than 30 seconds) and keeps track of the number of volunteers for any given day. It has been very helpful, and I think increased the number of volunteers. Pros I was able to set up a sign up for volunteers quite easily. The program allows me to enter information about the event (date, time, location, number of volunteers needed, and a brief description of volunteer requirements). The program tracks the number of volunteers and sends an immediate confirmatory email to persons who signed up as well as a follow up reminder a couple of days before the event. Cons I couldn't find anything that I dislike about this software. It is easy for me to enter data and very easy for volunteers to sign up. August 26, 2017 5.0 As a volunteer coordinator working with hundreds of volunteers 15 to 20 times a year, I treat it as a multi-use tool - a worksheet, a roster, a plan and a summary or report post-event. It makes managing volunteers on paper so easy. At a glance, I can see how many more I need and for what task, day or event. Pros 1) intuitive 2) it doesn't ask for a lot of unnecessary info from volunteers 3) it's quick and easy to sign up large groups 4) you can attach a volunteer waiver with the paid subscriptions 5) you have the ability to print out a roster, a check-in form or a summary Cons A minor fix - I would just like to see the ability to use a single email address to sign up multiple groups. For example, a coach who signed up her track team to volunteer, can also use the same email address to sign up her youth church group for the same event. Pros I thoroughly enjoy using SignUp for finding volunteers for a concession stand we run at the Nebraska State Fair. It lets me know who has signed up, sends reminders to them and a summary for the week. I also like the message feature as it enables us to get in touch with all of our workers efficiently. It allows individuals to choose what time/date works best for them and emails confirmations for me. Pros I love that I can use signup.com to have parents and students sign up for a time to complete parent-teacher conferences. I am an online teacher and signup.com makes it super quick to put together an event, in this case conferences, with individual slots people can sign up for that work for them. I put together a list of possible options, and, using my specific event link which I email to parents, signup.com directs them to choose a slot. Once the slot is full, it is unavailable for anyone else. Signup.com saves me so much time. I can put together an event in 5 -10 minutes, and signup.com manages it for me. I can then check who has signed up and confirm with them their slot. Cons There is nothing I do not like. I would recommend adding more picture designs to spice up the invites. It is easy to set up, easy to navigate, and parents find it very convenient. The reminders to parents and updates to teachers are also helpful. Pros It's very easy and quick to set up for conferences. It keeps me updated on all activity or on any changes, and provides an organized printout of the event's families and time slots. It gives parents flexibility in choosing a time slot and in changing their time slot. Cons I have no complaints on this product. There were no glitches, and it worked seamlessly for the event. Pros I have been using signup.com to allow my students parent to easily schedule parent conferences with me for the last three years. I love how easy it is to post a link for them to click to sign up, how it sends the parents reminder emails about their conference date and time, and how they can easily cancel and reschedule when needed. It has made a timely task into an easy and clear task for parents and teachers. I share and recommend this resource to teachers around me regularly. Thank you! Cons It took me a while to figure out what I was doing with it. The interface can be a bit tricky. I do wish the time slots, and descriptions were easier to manipulate.
