Pros Thank you for offering this service for free to educators!! I am SO grateful for your platform and truly appreciate your service. I set up my volunteer slots at the beginning of the school year and have little to no maintenance on my side to keep volunteers organized. They receive automatic reminders from Signup.com which helps them show up on time and ready to volunteer which saves me time during my busy school year!! Cons The free version has ads which is not ideal but I would rather have the ads then pay myself! I appreciate not having appropriate ads for parents. Cons Can't copy and paste or drag down to fill in rows with common data. sometimes the emails/ads fet annoying but can be ignored. It's super easy for me and I have heard from volunteers that they love it. Pros This app is really easy to use and requires no login for people signing up. The reminders are automatically sent to volunteers - and you can manually add in individuals if needed. Cons The free version has some standard reports - the font is rather small - but there's also an excel export where you can create whatever table you need. I don't need to shop around for any other system because Signup does it all. Pros Signup.com is a time efficient way to organize volunteers for events and both short term and long term programs. The system simplified how we make contact with people through email and text messaging. Invitations to participate and reminders to those who have signed up are automatic. It is also a secure system that provides privacy to my contacts and does not share their information with outsiders. We have used Signup for 5 years at my not-for-profit organization and we upgrade to ad free for 3 months during our busy summer season. I definitely recommend investing in the upgrade! Edits are easy to make and all of the descriptions to our spots can be modified as needed. Generating printable lists and reports to use at our volunteer events are ready in a click of a button. When I forget what steps to take to find what I'm looking for, or have a question, the program has complete and simple instructions that are easy to follow. We also get monthly, in advance reminders of the billing so that makes it easy to add or remove upgrades when we need to. Cons I am of the generation that grew up prior to computer technology so for me there is no such thing as "intuitive". I sometimes just click on things until I find the menu for the report and information I am looking for. Many of our volunteers are also older/retired people from this by-gone era and they need some hand holding to use the online sign up. It is flexible and very quick and easy to use. We did not have to spend a lot of time setting up a new online sign-up. Best of all, users do not have to create an account in order to sign up. Pros It is easy to learn and use, very user friendly, and does not require folks to create an account in order to sign up for an event. It is also very flexible for different types of sign-ups. Cons The graphic and design choices are a little limited, but this was a VERY minor issue for us. The only other thing is not being able to attach a document to the sign-up, but this also was a very minor issue for us.
