### "Schoox is a rich Platform for Scalable Learning"

July 7, 2025

5.0

Schoox is a robust learning management system that offers great tools for tracking, managing, and delivering training/teaching — but it requires some initial time investment to master the backend.”

Pros

Schoox has a user friendly interface, it is intuitive and easy to navigate for both learners and students It also offer one with flexibility in creating personalized training programs for different roles. Discussion boards, forums, and peer interaction

Cons

The mobile experience may not offer the full functionality of the desktop version (e.g., limited content editing or settings access). It also have Limited Third-Party Content Library, it offers fewer ready-made course materials or third-party content integrations.

### "A mid-range LMS with limited features."

February 19, 2025

3.0

It's a lower mid-range LMS. I've implemented or administered over 7 different LMS's for organizations. It lacks in so many features, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, except someone who wanted a cheap, limited featured product. Plan on attempting plenty of workarounds to make things happen.

Pros

Fairly easy to use in basic functions, like adding a user, course, etc. Simplified LMS. A basic LMS in every respect.

Cons

Lacked many mainstream features like grandfathering credit for courses when new versions come out. Everything had to be loaded into the "warehouse" first and you couldn't delete anything from it, like older versions, etc. Limited search capability for users and user maintenance.

Alternatives considered

[SumTotal Learn](https://www.capterra.com/p/10001580/SumTotal-Learn/)[Rockstar Learning Platform](https://www.capterra.com/p/228344/Rockstar-Learning-Platform/)

Reason for choosing Schoox

Much cheaper than alternatives. Appeared to have features needed, on paper.

### "Good for General Learning, Lacking for Medical Content "

April 3, 2025

4.0

My interaction with Schoox in general has been good, but an MBBS student finds it limiting. Its easy-to-use interface simplifies browsing of the many general learning materials the platform offers. Though my schedule of medical school is busy and sometimes erratic, I appreciate the flexibility to track my learning development and take courses at my own speed. But rather than specialized medical instruction, Schoox tends to concentrate on corporate training and career advancement. Though I found it short in medical-specific material, it provides a great range of general skills and soft skills programs. Other more medical-oriented sites are usually my source of in-depth medical knowledge and clinical experience. Although Schoox might help one to develop their abilities and knowledge, it might not completely satisfy the requirements of anyone seeking for directed medical education.

Pros

Schoox's access to a large variety of learning materials and simple interface appeal to me most. Access to a range of programs, materials, and qualifications is useful for an MBBS student. The platform lets one study at their own speed, which is ideal for handling the busy schedule of medical school.

Cons

Schoox lacks medical-specific material, which irritates me most. Though it presents many chances for learning, it does not always meet the depth needed for special medical subjects. Other media aimed specifically for medical students can have more challenging time acquiring thorough, excellent medical information.

### "Schoox Makes Employee Training Simple, Engaging, and Scalable"

May 19, 2025

4.0

My overall experience with Schoox has been positive. It’s a solid LMS platform with a good balance of simplicity and powerful features. It helped us onboard new team members more efficiently and provided clear training paths for ongoing development. The reporting system made it easy for managers to keep track of progress. While there were a few minor issues with integrations, the customer support was responsive and helpful in resolving them.

Pros

What I liked most about Schoox is its user-friendly interface and how easy it was to navigate both as an administrator and as a learner. The course creation tools are straightforward and support a wide range of content types, from PDFs to videos to SCORM files, which makes it simple to build a rich learning experience. Also the mobile responsiveness is another huge plus, it made learning on the go feel seamless.

Cons

One thing I liked least was that the integration with Zoom, it wasn't as smooth as expected, and setting them up required extra support from the tech team.

I got a great experience using it even though I have only used it for about 4-5 months. A great software though

Pros

Cons

It’s not a big deal but there’s been some glitches while using it. Sometimes it takes a lot to fix it

### "Overall experience with Schoox"

June 14, 2025

5.0

Schoox.com offers a comprehensive and modern learning management experience that caters especially well to mid-sized and large enterprises with complex organizational needs. The platform combines traditional LMS features with talent development tools, allowing organizations to manage training, track skills, and support career growth all in one place. Learners benefit from a user-friendly interface, mobile access, and gamified elements that make the learning.

Pros

It Combines skills development, career pathing in one place. It Reduces the need for multiple HR or L&D tools. It is design for both admins and learners. It has mobile-first experience with offline learning.

Cons

1\. The older version has some issues like have some bugs, crashes sometime. 2. Although a newer version exists, some users are still on the Classic app due to phased rollout or company policies.

March 19, 2025

5.0

Years of experience after switching from another training host with my previous company.

Pros

Training management made simple. Progress tracking and followup is great. Actual video streaming function worked great. 4.5\*

Cons

No interactive video function, just click play and watch. Videos could be "skipped" by dragging the time bar forward. -1/2 star

### "Schoox an Admin's Best Assest"

July 1, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Schoox, was great , besides the sign outs everything went smoothly. From assigning tasks to completing and signing off, this is a great application for the workplace.

Pros

I have used both sides of this application, assigning tasks and assignments was a breeze and receiving and understanding the flow of tasks was a breeze.

Cons

Sign on function needs serious work , constant log ins or getting signed out abruptly, these caused a slow down on usage.

June 23, 2025

5.0

### "Love to learn"

July 14, 2025

5.0

Overall I feel like the level of training and learning received is the dame for those who are in higher levels. The program has no respect of persons.

Pros

that it focuses on those who want to learn 1st. You could tell because it shows in the progress of those who seek to learn.

Cons

there was nothing that I necessarily did not like. I am utilizing the program accordingly to my advantage to increase skills.

### "Very basic LMS "

May 6, 2025

3.0

Pros

Fairly easy to use, easy to add users, and easy adjust courses, very basic LMS.

Cons

Well it is very VERY basic, there are some common features that other LMS tools have that this one does not. For example, sunsetting courses after new versions had been released.

### "Solid LMS Option"

March 3, 2025

5.0

I have been using Schoox for about 18 months. It was a nearly brand new system when I first started with the Company. It has proven to be an excellent resource, easily adapted and leveraged for a variety of learning solutions, and occasionally even helpful outside of a traditional LMS use case.

Pros

Easy to use, easy to track compliance/completion, user-friendly interface, social/gamification tools have been popular with end users.

Cons

Doesn't adapt as well outside of the traditional learning management system functions, although I appreciate that they even dabble in those spaces (for example, tracking coaching sessions).

### "More fun and strategic learning"

January 30, 2025

4.0

It allows for a more strategic way of teaching without becoming boring and not having enough attention

Pros

Many times, training sessions become boring and do not have the necessary attention from employees to learn everything that the training is intended to teach. Schoox has been the perfect tool to have training sessions in a more fun way, but strategically everything is well designed to have the full attention of employees and for them to learn the knowledge

Cons

There is nothing that I do not like, all its tools work perfectly

### "Schoox maybe? "

June 25, 2025

5.0

Fine considering the overall value and cost associated per user. They are a startup company so the pricing is what I would expect

Pros

The ability to use this software to develop at any stage in your companies growth. You can use it for content for a certain certain department or deploy it as a universal training/development platform.

Cons

The support isn’t the best. You will get stuck in a looping if you will that requires someone from their team to step in and correct.

October 21, 2024

We use it at work for training. The app doesn't give me reminders or anything. And your progress isn't saved well and you have to start over alot.

Pros

It is easy enough to create trainings and modules. The modules go away when completed.

Cons

The organization and alerts. Modules aren't easy to find sometimes. The navigation sucks.

### "Easy to use, but lots to master"

May 2, 2018

4.0

Great system as long as you either have a learning direction and philosophy established or are open to whatever the consultant you hire to implement suggests. Not great for those who have a wishy washy learning vision or indecisive team.

Pros

End user interface is clean and easy to navigate through. The mobile app is one of the better LMS mobile apps around. Our employees did their training primarily through the application on their mobile devices. Approximately 85% mobile adoption. A really nice feature is the ability to set parameters around hourly employees and when they can access the system. We have a large hourly workforce and it is nice to be able to restrict access to the learning content to work hours or to be able to give each team member a bucket of paid off hour time to use to learn. This feature alone helped us incentivize growth and development learning while staying compliant with labor laws and finance liked it for budgets. Out of the box reporting was simple and basic, but it had a built in Google analytics connection. We just connected to our Google analytics account and aggregated the data into our BI tools for advanced reporting. Administration was simple and straight forward, but had lots of features that someone truly creative could run with. We ran a our company-wide mentoring program through the system. It also connects with quite a few HRIS systems so our team members where always up to date. I would recommend and use again. Has an excelent content store for easy purchase and download of "filler" content.

Cons

The organizational set up takes a bit to get used to, but once you are it is not overly complex. You mind as well turn off the search bar feature. You have a better chance of asking a magic eight ball where to find specific content. You will not need the search feature if you build your learning content correctly and use smart tagging conventions. E.G bundle content into courses and courses into curriculum, On-boarding, or career development. Our motto became "no content left behind" If its not in a course its not in our system.

### "Great software but not for the novice."

August 30, 2019

4.0

Schoox has been great for us overall. We have used it primarily for onboarding new hires up to this point, but we will eventually build out more continuing education modules within the system. It definitely took some time to figure out how to use, but the Schoox staff was great and always available. Our initial training with them was a screen share session followed by many phone calls and emails. Anytime we have a question they will always eagerly provide assistance. The HotSchedules integration was a huge selling point for us and has been great.

Pros

Schoox is full of features and functions like tracking and reporting, but the best thing we liked about Schoox is its complexity and ability to grow with us as our company grows. We can make it as small or big as we want it. It also integrates with HotSchedules which was a huge selling point for us.

Cons

When we decided to formalize our training program, I was tasked with the initial build-out. I am by no means a Learning and Development Manager, so I had a hard time figuring out how to use Schoox. We had played around with Talent LMS and I found it to be much simpler for the novice yet not as customizable as Schoox. The final choice to go with Schoox came from us understanding we needed to hire a L&D Manager eventually who would know how to use it better than me, which we did. Now all is well, but be warned this is not likely a software that can be learned casually by a novice.

Reason for choosing Schoox

We chose Schoox for two main reasons. 1) HotSchedules integration was a big selling point. This feature allows you to sync your employees from HotSchedules to your Schoox roster. If you're in a high turnover business (our restaurant employees over half of our employee base), this makes enrollment into Schoox so easy. 2) The depth of what can be done in Schoox is impressive if not a little daunting at times. There are so many features that we haven't even started to touch. Everyday we find some amazing new thing we can do that we never saw before and if you ever want to learn more about it, there are tons of training modules on how to use features within Schoox.

### "Experience with Schoox"

May 5, 2022

I would not recommend the Schoox product at all.

Pros

Cons

There was zero support when you needed help. Integration with Hotschedules was very glitchy and inaccurate. We constantly had functionality issues and there were frequent system outages.

### "The best LMS system in the world!"

March 28, 2019

5.0

Schoox is an awesome, seamless software and its support team is top-notch in regards to knowledge.

Pros

I implement this product for my company. I love it, in every way. From Course Creation, Automatic Assignment Rules, Curriculum creation, SCORM/AICC upload, content management, CEU credits management, On the Job Training, In Class Training, and exam creation, this tool has it all. It is easy for companies who never had a prior LMS as well as those coming from another system.

Cons

The only con for this software would be in its Poll/Survey feature. It is basic at best and should have a free-text/open response option.

### "Enhances Communication Through Interactive Technology"

June 13, 2016

5.0

Schoox provides a wonderful tool that can be utilized in a variety of ways beginning with improving communication, enhancing employee development, and ensuring compliance with its tracking mechanisms and reporting capabilities. It is a product that adds value from the moment it is utilized, and more importantly, creates new value through the efficiency of technology and the capability of bringing teams together with a common development and communication platform.

Pros

Because Schoox utilizes online interaction to keep people connected, there is a benefit to employees as well as leadership. The ability to add content, creating courses applicable to my organization, is an efficient process as well as cost effective. With multiple locations in the US and employees located throughout the world, Schoox allows our employees to communicate and attend online training no matter where they are located. This keeps our teams connected in a way that would otherwise not be possible.

Cons

Keeping track of 'My Schoox' in comparison to my company's academy can sometimes be confusing. I'm confident that as I utilize the online training provided regarding 'how to' use Schoox, this will become easier to navigate.
