### "The #1 Business Management Solution Worldwide."

December 10, 2024

5.0

Pros

Odoo’s greatest strength lies in its ability to integrate everything a business might need—whether it’s a small, medium, or large enterprise—into one unified platform. Many applications aim to deliver this concept, but Odoo stands out as the best and most effective in achieving it. It truly is "everything in one place." Odoo keeps up with market trends and requirements by offering regular and consistent updates that ensure compatibility with evolving business needs. For example: Need a website for your business? It’s available. Want an online store for e-commerce? It’s included. Require an inventory management system? It’s there. Looking for sales and purchase management? It’s ready. Need tools for real estate, rentals, or subscription management? It’s built-in. With over 70 applications, Odoo caters to nearly every industry in the world, including: Supermarkets Legal services Construction companies Restaurants and cafes Engineering firms Bakeries Subscription-based software businesses Training institutes Salons Real estate agencies Clothing stores Libraries Fitness clubs Non-profit organizations …and many more sectors, covering every aspect and requirement a business might have. Additionally, Odoo offers flexibility for customization—from adding custom fields and tables to integrating seamlessly with other systems. Its automation features streamline operations, making workflows faster, easier, and less labor-intensive. While it’s impossible to highlight all of Odoo’s advantages in one review, I firmly believe that Odoo is well on its way to becoming the #1 business management solution worldwide.

Cons

I think the payment providers not available in all counties for online store

### "Excellent Product - Odoo "

April 1, 2026

4.0

Its been good and easy to use , there have been no issues or glitches in the product, works smoothly . Support team is also good.

Pros

It’s genuinely one of the easiest tools to get started with, even for someone who isn’t from a specific background. All the modules as very user friendly. What stands out is the value for money, you get a lot of functionality without it feeling overly complex or expensive. The flexibility to customize based on business needs is a big plus and most clients already trust and relate to the brand, which makes adoption much smoother.

Cons

There is no module wise pricing - we have to pay one cost and you get a bunch of apps , which even if your not using is there. Would rather prefer to pay module wise for the apps that i useful to the company so that costs come down

### "Reliable Tool for Project Time Tracking"

July 30, 2026

5.0

I used Odoo primarily for timesheet management as part of technical project delivery. It provided a reliable way to record project hours, keep track of work across multiple tasks, and support internal reporting. The platform was stable and easy to use for routine time tracking, making it a useful part of our project workflow.

Pros

Odoo made it straightforward to log my timesheets and allocate hours to different projects. The interface is easy to use for day-to-day time tracking, and it helped keep project reporting organized.

Cons

Some workflows require a few extra clicks, and navigating between different modules can occasionally feel less intuitive. Overall, it worked well for my needs.

### "Database Shutdown Over Disputed Fees Created Serious Operational Risk"

May 11, 2026

1.0

Odoo initially looked like a powerful all-in-one ERP platform, and we invested heavily into building our operations around it. Over time, however, the platform became increasingly difficult and expensive to maintain and upgrade due to the amount of customization required for real-world business use. Our recent experience was extremely concerning. We disputed a large unsupported-version surcharge that we do not believe we accepted contractually, and our database was subsequently shut down/restricted. After restoration, critical email-fetch services began failing, impacting communications and operations. Support acknowledged the issue but could not resolve it immediately and eventually escalated it to another team.

Pros

Odoo is highly customizable and can centralize many parts of a business into a single platform. The flexibility of the modules and ability to build custom workflows is one of its strongest features. For companies willing to heavily invest in development, it can become deeply integrated into operations, inventory, communications, and accounting. The issue is that once your company becomes deeply integrated into Odoo, upgrading versions becomes extremely expensive and operationally risky. In our case, we built a significant portion of our stack around Odoo, making major upgrades potentially cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in redevelopment and testing.

Cons

Our biggest issue was billing, support, and operational risk. Odoo attempted to charge us a large unsupported-version fee that we dispute and do not believe we ever contractually accepted. After disputing the fee, our database access was shut down/restricted, forcing us into an extremely difficult position operationally. After the database was restored, we began having issues with our email-fetch services and incoming emails were no longer properly entering the system. Odoo support acknowledged that the mail process was failing/crashing and ultimately escalated the issue because it could not be resolved immediately. For a business-critical ERP platform, database access, predictable billing, and urgent support should be far more reliable than what we experienced.

Reason for choosing Odoo

We chose Odoo because it appeared to provide the best balance of flexibility, modularity, customization, and overall cost compared to larger enterprise ERP systems. The open ecosystem and ability to heavily customize workflows were major selling points for our business. At the time, Odoo also appeared more modern and e-commerce friendly than many traditional ERP systems in the automotive aftermarket space. However, we later discovered that maintaining and upgrading a heavily customized Odoo environment can become extremely expensive and operationally risky. Once deeply integrated into your business, migrating away or upgrading versions can require enormous redevelopment effort and cost.

Switched from

[Epicor Eagle for the Aftermarket](https://www.capterra.com/p/10016392/Epicor-Eagle-for-the-Aftermarket/)

We switched from Epicor Eagle because we wanted a more modern and flexible ERP platform that could better support e-commerce, automation, integrations, and custom operational workflows. Odoo appeared to offer a more open and scalable ecosystem compared to traditional legacy aftermarket ERP systems. Unfortunately, as our business scaled and became more complex, the amount of customization and maintenance required became extremely significant. Over time, we found that Odoo introduced major operational and upgrade challenges of its own.

### "Does most things well"

June 7, 2026

4.0

Pros

The integration across modules is fantastic. We've really benefited from having our CRM, accounting, and project management all in one place. It cuts down on so much data entry and makes reporting much simpler than juggling separate systems. Definitely a big win for our workflow.

Cons

Honestly, the user interface can be a bit overwhelming at times, especially with all the options available. Took a bit to figure out where everything was, and some workflows aren't as intuitive as they could be. It's not a huge deal once you're used to it, but that initial learning curve felt steep.

We were using a patchwork of different tools for our CRM, accounting, and project management. It was getting messy and inefficient, especially for tracking sales through to project delivery. Odoo's integrated approach seemed like the best way to tie everything together without constant data re-entry.

### "Unfinished Project over 1 year in."

April 24, 2026

1.0

We contracted with Odoo to develop a custom ERP solution for our small business over a year ago, and the project remains unfinished to this day. Throughout this process we have experienced constant developer turnover — multiple different developers have been assigned to our project, requiring us to repeatedly restart and re-explain our requirements. Each handoff has brought new delays, miscommunications, and lost progress. For a small business, this kind of prolonged uncertainty is not just frustrating — it's damaging. We've invested significant time and money into a system we still cannot use. Deadlines have been missed repeatedly with little accountability or transparency. If you are a small business considering Odoo's development services, I would strongly urge you to think carefully. The software platform itself may have merit, but the implementation and project management we experienced was unreliable and unprofessional.

Pros

The ERP as a whole has great functionality for small business. Very good and simple software, easy to work with at scale.

Cons

Dishonesty, lack of professionalism, false promises on deadlines, refused to give a hard target date on software development.

### "Odoo subscription account deletion"

November 13, 2025

1.0

My experience with odoo can be described in 1 word a nightmare. No one should be in this situation waking up to see that the fully paid subscription account with database and pos completly deleted without prior notice and althoug im the admin of the odoo shop account. But what i didnt know that the odoo partner i signed with have scamed me and created my odoo shop under there company accouny which is a clear data ownership Violation.

Pros

Online pos system. Accounting and easy to navigate. All features are available in this software it only lacks a good customer service.

Cons

My Odoo database — which I paid for and which should have been created under my company’s ownership — was created and controlled entirely under ADG’s ( odoo authorised partner) internal account. Because of this, ADG was able to delete my database and remove my access without any authorization. This situation raises several extremely serious points: 1. Data Ownership Violation: Despite paying for a full-year Odoo subscription, my database was never created under my CompanyID. It was created under the partner’s internal account, which contradicts Odoo’s customer ownership policy. Odoo support didnt show the minimum responsibility regarding this big error and considered it as an inconvenience situation and the only thing they offered is to create a new account and told me to redo the wholework myself again. Since my contract with ADG is paused due to delay in project delivery several times.

Alternatives considered

[Sage Sales Management](https://www.capterra.com/p/153130/Forcemanager/)

Reason for choosing Odoo

I thought I'd have a professional program, but it is almost a scam. I paid for a yearly subscription and invested money with an Odoo partner, and they deleted my account with a click. Odoo considers this issue an inconvenience. My subscription is on, but I have no account. Can anyone imagine this error? It is only because I live in Africa that this can happen. If I were in Europe or the USA, I would have sued Odoo and their stupid partner for this deadly error.

### "Odoo!! Ohh, do? Yes, you should do."

October 11, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Odoo is phenomenal. Everything you need from the start of your vision to your exit plan. If you have multiple businesses or different ventures, you can manage everything as the admin without it interfering with each business. It’s really flexible and lets you organize things exactly how you want. I like to think of it like making a sandwich. Maybe you want bread, maybe you want lettuce instead whatever works for you, it’s all there. That’s the beauty of Odoo: it adapts to your creative vision. On top of that, you can create your own apps, integrate your own tools, and truly make the platform work for you and or your clients. You really can’t go wrong with it. I personally use one account for everything I do, and as someone with experience building and selling businesses, managing warehouses, handling finance, and helping others scale their operations, I need a system that keeps me organized without feeling overwhelmed. Odoo delivers that, especially because of their free trial you get access to the full platform with no limitations.

Pros

What I love most about Odoo is how powerful and simple it is at the same time. It’s affordable, customizable, and gives you everything you need to run your business in one place. Finances, websites, inventory, employees, task management … seriously it’s all there and fully integrated. And here’s the real secret: it might sound like a lot, but it’s not. You can make it as simple or as advanced as you want. Three steps. Click. Click. Boom. You’re in. Odoo is built for continuous improvement. The easier the system, the faster the results. The world overcomplicates everything, but Odoo gives you clarity. One icon, one login, everything right there. And the support team is solid; they reach out and help you stay aligned so your business flows effortlessly. I use Odoo to manage multiple ventures, and it’s allowed me to help entrepreneurs, startups, and even 100 million dollar companies run with full transparency and confidence.

Cons

The only downside is that the trial eventually ends! I was like, “D#$n, I knew it was too good to be true!” Honestly, there really isn’t anything not to like about it. Side note: They will let you know ahead of time and help you get the paid version, which is the same version! of course you know they have to pay for the space and whatever else and employees and all that stuff and make it make sense. And a good thing about it is it’s not like the other platforms like when your trial period over all your stuff is locked down and you have to pay for it right then and you can’t access your stuff which causes a domino effect … they work with you and Your stuff is still there and it’s not shut down … 404

### "Great Software, Disappointing Customer Service"

June 26, 2026

2.0

The software appears capable, but my experience with the sales and subscription process was disappointing. A simple request for flexibility after an unexpected business change was rejected without any goodwill. Overall, it felt more focused on closing the sale than supporting the customer afterward.

Pros

The apps are well integrated, the interface is modern and intuitive, and it appears to be a powerful solution for managing business processes. Based on my experience so far, the software itself looks very promising and offers excellent value in terms of functionality.

Cons

Very inflexible subscription management and poor customer service. There was no willingness to accommodate a reasonable request, and the communication quickly became focused on legal obligations instead of finding a customer-friendly solution. The overall experience felt very sales-driven, with the priority being to secure subscriptions rather than build a long-term customer relationship.

### "Simple, good for small organisations, but has limited funtionality"

March 19, 2026

3.0

Generally it was easy to use, but often we were lacking functionality, when it was coming to structuring the data or when we wanted to have more advanced functions.

Pros

Odoo is mostly really easy to use, since most of the functions are simple and straight away. No need to long customizing, which makes it a good deal for small to medium organisations.

Cons

If you need some advanced funtionality Odoo is not the best solution. For large organisations, where you need to work with big amount of data, it makes difficult to clasfy, filter you information on a precise way.

### "Odoo: The absolute centralization to steer my entire business"

June 11, 2026

5.0

A true 360-degree view of my business operations in real-time. By centralizing all of my corporate data, I can make strategic decisions much faster and I no longer feel like I am losing valuable information between different software applications.

Pros

What I find absolutely brilliant about Odoo is its all-in-one modular approach. Instead of having one software for my invoices, another for my inventory, and a third for my CRM, I have everything gathered in one place. I started small with just the invoicing module, and then activated other building blocks as my business grew. The interconnection between applications is flawless: when a sale is validated, the inventory updates automatically, and the invoice is generated in a single click. The modern interface makes navigation pleasant for my entire team.

Cons

Odoo's flexibility comes at a price: the initial setup is a monumental task. I had to invest a massive amount of time configuring the tool so that it aligned precisely with my specific business processes, and I have sometimes encountered frustrating bugs after major system updates. Furthermore, while the baseline offer is attractive, as soon as you add custom modules or require dedicated hosting (Odoo.sh) to integrate tailored code, the cost of licenses and technical support climbs significantly.

### "My experience with Odoo"

June 17, 2026

4.0

Odoo has solved our diverse business needs including supply chain management, social media management and all procurement related processes. We have had a very easy time with the product considering that is an all in one business management tool.

Pros

This is our 5th year since we started using Odoo. The software has automated all our manual processes from approval processes control, cash management and work status tracking. It is also very reliable when it comes to file sharing, bailing and invoicing and general inventory management. I likes it's customer support services and effectiveness in SEO management.

Cons

Honestly I have nothing against Odoo. It is user-friendly, customizable and support multi currency. Its templates are very customisable and has auto reminder features.

### "A Cost-Effective, All-in-One ERP Solution"

July 7, 2025

4.0

Overall, we really like Odoo and believe it offers excellent value for money. The platform brings a wide range of features together in one place, helping us streamline operations and improve visibility across the business. The Odoo team has been helpful, energetic, and genuinely interested in ensuring we get the most out of the system. Their support has made a real difference in our implementation journey. We would happily recommend Odoo to other businesses looking for a flexible and cost-effective ERP solution.

Pros

Odoo brings all core business functions—such as sales, inventory, purchasing, accounting, CRM, and manufacturing—together in one place. This reduces the need for multiple disconnected systems and streamlines operations.

Cons

Fragmented Communication: One of the biggest challenges is how Odoo segments communication by object—such as a sales order, invoice, or specific contact. This makes it difficult to view a complete history of interactions with a client in one central place. For businesses with multiple team members handling the same client, this lack of visibility can hinder collaboration and create gaps in service continuity.

### "Solid Software, Broken Promises & Abysmal Support"

September 10, 2025

1.0

The software is solid, but the company’s handling of sales, communication, and post-sale support has been the worst I’ve experienced in nearly 50 years of business. I filed complaints with the \[sensitive content hidden\]. I still want to use Odoo because the product itself is strong, but the lack of accountability, transparency, and remedy for a paid service I couldn’t use has left a lasting negative impression.

Pros

The core product is strong. The modules are well-integrated, task workflows are efficient, and the cloud platform is robust. Navigation is intuitive once configured, and from a functionality standpoint, Odoo has enormous potential for managing sales, transactions, and daily operations.

Cons

Customer support and sales accountability. I was sold Odoo.sh with written assurances of free migration, only to find out after paying $1,785.60 that my database version (18.3) was not supported on SH. This critical limitation was never disclosed before purchase. For over 50 days I had no access to the service I paid for, was repeatedly handed between teams, and promises of rebates/credits went unfulfilled. Escalation requests to executives went ignored.

### "This platform is a scam and Customer Service are not useful at all"

There was a lack of consistency with the communication between the staff members. They did not really want to assist to help you figure out what the problem was because I guess it’s a scam. They were disrespectful, passive aggressive. I no longer wanted to use their services which I really never used it because I was unable to access anything in their portal. They said that there was no problem with their portal, but clearly there was a problem if professional that is skilled in that field was unable to access it as well. All they’re trying to do is take the customers money without assisting them and then they’re trying to scam you to pay a lump sum amount for them still not to assist you. They said it wasn’t in their job description to assist you in learning their platform when I came to the person that is handling my account he kept saying I’m not gonna do it for you, but I wasn’t asking him to do anything for me. I was asking him to help me navigate the portal guide me, give me steps and I took all the steps that they gave me and their portal still wasn’t accessible. This company is not legit. This company does not care about their customers. They just care about getting the money and not assisting the customers and then having attitude when customer comes to them with an issue.

Pros

This company sold a good story, but could not fulfill what they were actually marketing

Cons

So this company tries to sell you a $3500 subscription for them to navigate you through the whole thing and they also sell a monthly subscription for $46 and some change. When I asked the person, \[sensitive content hidden\] that was in charge of my account to assist me in getting informed with the platform, he said that that is not in his job description, but prior to that he said if I needed any help navigating the system to contact him. So I called the customer support to see how they can support me and they told me that \[sensitive content hidden\] the person that is in charge of my account was supposed to assist me in navigating and then \[sensitive content hidden\] said that is not in his job description. So I also got a professional to see if they would be able to assist me outside of their company, and the professional was unable to access their program either the apps were not working you weren’t able to access them at all. They’re just there for show I was charged for a second month when I didn’t even access our program ever since they sent me the message saying that there was nothing wrong with it, but if I’m telling them, there’s something wrong with it, I’m not able to access there’s something wrong with their program. So I call back and I speak to the customer support and they said that they couldn’t assist me. They have to talk to another team member in order to assist me. Then I called back and just talked to another customer support and they basically told me that they have a fortune $5 million companies that are working with them and I simply said that does not matter to me. What matters to me is my experience is that I’m having with you and your platform, it is not accessible. so basically they didn’t take any accountability for anything. They basically was just saying oh sorry it didn’t work out for you, but everything seems good on our end which it’s not good on my end if I needed to access the portal for my business so pretty much they said I was not gonna be receiving any type of refund. The customer service was overall horrible. It sounds like they don’t know anything that they’re talking about and it pretty much is a scam. They don’t take any accountability and they don’t connect with the customers thoroughly. They deflect and make it seem like it’s the customer‘s fault that they can’t access the portal when it’s actually their portal that is not accessible.

Very good for novice users of IT products, or for boomers without formal training on it's use. Instructions included

Pros

There is a free version, ideal for new users, then after increased user and comfort, can upgrade to a pay version

Cons

We need 2 screens to view changes, and creating webpages for phone tablet and monitor viewing each require tweaking

### "Supportive tool which enables Business Growth"

January 12, 2026

4.0

Exciting, accessible and useful tool which collects a range of others in an easy way. I like how it allows growth in a manageable way.

Pros

Odoo is a brilliant concept for a software. It effortlessly combines a range of in-house and external softwares and tools for the running of your business, website and e-market or associated functions. It is easy to use and fun to bolt on extra tools

Cons

I think it requires and existing contextual knowledge of what makes it powerful. This may hinder from others adopting it, or whether a permanent and strong internet connection is reality for everyone all the time.

### "POOR SERVICE"

February 25, 2025

1.0

Odoo why not BUT not via their employees. Or switch to Magento or prestashop! If you still want to work with Odoo, go through a freelancer who will respect the specifications. With Odoo: Salespeople's promises are not kept, you have to do all the implementation, bad imports, the packs are used to correct their mistakes. The budget explodes and it's never their fault. When faced with a problem, the standard response is ‘everything will be fixed with the next version’... in the end, it's not. In the end, this is not the case. The people in charge absolve themselves of any responsibility by replying ‘it was mentioned that the version could solve this problem, not that it would’... nice trick! It's better to go through a professional working with Odoo. He will understand your needs much better and will respect the specifications. If they make a mistake, they'll fix the problem at their own expense. !!!!!!!!!!

Pros

I am using space in order to answer ... nothing

Cons

I am using space in order to answer ..The service!!
