### "Odoo!! Ohh, do? Yes, you should do."

October 11, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Odoo is phenomenal. Everything you need from the start of your vision to your exit plan. If you have multiple businesses or different ventures, you can manage everything as the admin without it interfering with each business. It’s really flexible and lets you organize things exactly how you want. I like to think of it like making a sandwich. Maybe you want bread, maybe you want lettuce instead whatever works for you, it’s all there. That’s the beauty of Odoo: it adapts to your creative vision. On top of that, you can create your own apps, integrate your own tools, and truly make the platform work for you and or your clients. You really can’t go wrong with it. I personally use one account for everything I do, and as someone with experience building and selling businesses, managing warehouses, handling finance, and helping others scale their operations, I need a system that keeps me organized without feeling overwhelmed. Odoo delivers that, especially because of their free trial you get access to the full platform with no limitations.

Pros

What I love most about Odoo is how powerful and simple it is at the same time. It’s affordable, customizable, and gives you everything you need to run your business in one place. Finances, websites, inventory, employees, task management … seriously it’s all there and fully integrated. And here’s the real secret: it might sound like a lot, but it’s not. You can make it as simple or as advanced as you want. Three steps. Click. Click. Boom. You’re in. Odoo is built for continuous improvement. The easier the system, the faster the results. The world overcomplicates everything, but Odoo gives you clarity. One icon, one login, everything right there. And the support team is solid; they reach out and help you stay aligned so your business flows effortlessly. I use Odoo to manage multiple ventures, and it’s allowed me to help entrepreneurs, startups, and even 100 million dollar companies run with full transparency and confidence.

Cons

The only downside is that the trial eventually ends! I was like, “D#$n, I knew it was too good to be true!” Honestly, there really isn’t anything not to like about it. Side note: They will let you know ahead of time and help you get the paid version, which is the same version! of course you know they have to pay for the space and whatever else and employees and all that stuff and make it make sense. And a good thing about it is it’s not like the other platforms like when your trial period over all your stuff is locked down and you have to pay for it right then and you can’t access your stuff which causes a domino effect … they work with you and Your stuff is still there and it’s not shut down … 404

### "Good all in one tool but not super easy"

April 18, 2026

overall its a solid product but not perfect. it has a lot of features but sometimes feels a bit messy or overwhelming.

Pros

good all in one solution, you can handle a lot of business stuff in one place which is really useful. pretty flexible with all the modules and once its set up it saves time. also scales well if your business grows

Cons

can get confusing pretty fast, especially in the beginning. setup takes quite some time and not everything is intuitive. also some features feel a bit unfinished or need manual adjustments which is annoying sometimes

### "Odoo subscription account deletion"

November 13, 2025

1.0

My experience with odoo can be described in 1 word a nightmare. No one should be in this situation waking up to see that the fully paid subscription account with database and pos completly deleted without prior notice and althoug im the admin of the odoo shop account. But what i didnt know that the odoo partner i signed with have scamed me and created my odoo shop under there company accouny which is a clear data ownership Violation.

Pros

Online pos system. Accounting and easy to navigate. All features are available in this software it only lacks a good customer service.

Cons

My Odoo database — which I paid for and which should have been created under my company’s ownership — was created and controlled entirely under ADG’s ( odoo authorised partner) internal account. Because of this, ADG was able to delete my database and remove my access without any authorization. This situation raises several extremely serious points: 1. Data Ownership Violation: Despite paying for a full-year Odoo subscription, my database was never created under my CompanyID. It was created under the partner’s internal account, which contradicts Odoo’s customer ownership policy. Odoo support didnt show the minimum responsibility regarding this big error and considered it as an inconvenience situation and the only thing they offered is to create a new account and told me to redo the wholework myself again. Since my contract with ADG is paused due to delay in project delivery several times.

Reason for choosing Odoo

I thought I'd have a professional program, but it is almost a scam. I paid for a yearly subscription and invested money with an Odoo partner, and they deleted my account with a click. Odoo considers this issue an inconvenience. My subscription is on, but I have no account. Can anyone imagine this error? It is only because I live in Africa that this can happen. If I were in Europe or the USA, I would have sued Odoo and their stupid partner for this deadly error.

### "Don't waste your time with Odoo..."

February 8, 2026

1.0

Don't waste your time with Odoo... most people who recommend it are being paid a referral fee... the support is extremely slow and almost non-existent in my experience and the services are slow and difficult to learn... I have wasted hundreds on dollars on Odoo and hope you don't make the same mistake.

Pros

Nothing... difficult to use and terrible support!!!! I have been building websites since 1998 and trying to work out how Odoo works is so difficult... in my opinion they make it so difficult so you have to hire someone to use it.

Cons

The software is difficult to work out and use, documentation is poor... it is expensive once you start adding things on and support is terrible.

### "waste of money"

August 27, 2025

1.0

I'm not recommending this software. Odoo’s numerous technical issues, poor performance, lack of crucial integrations, and slow support have made it a poor choice for our business. It feels more like an unfinished product than a professional business solution.

Pros

the only good thing about Odoo is it has a lot of modules even for employees appraisal and recruitment.

Cons

the whole database is slow, laggy and most of the time will not load. email marketing clicks are not accurate and "Scheduled" campaigns does not send on time. no native integration with Wordpress or Webflow making it difficult to track website subscriptions Online support is VERY SLOW to respond

Odoo promises a complete, all-in-one business management suite. However, my experience with the platform has been a constant struggle against its core technical flaws and a frustrating lack of support. Instead of a seamless solution, Odoo has become a source of daily headaches due to its persistent performance issues and frustrating limitations.

### "I tried Odoo so you don't have to"

September 12, 2025

1.0

Not great. I couldn't even make the free trial work. It seemed confused if it wanted to be free or wanted me to sign up and I kept going in a circle.

Pros

Seems like a great idea. Lots of modules that can help a smaller business look like an Enterprise business. I was tired of paying $65 a month to Intuit and $700 a year to DocuSign. There's got to be a better way, right?

Cons

I talked to a salesperson. I wasn't sure what his objective was other than to get me to sign up for a paid version and sign a 5 year deal. Whoa, Pilgrim! He was a jack of all trades and master of none, meaning he did not have detailed understanding of how the accounting module worked. Basic stuff like split categorization. I told him I wanted the free version to see how I liked the software and then I could move my European susidiary on if it all worked out. Once I clicked the link he gave me I could not figure out how to use the softward and I gave up.

### "Disappointing Direct Support after Payment"

September 3, 2025

1.0

My advice: get all the demos, calls, and answers to your questions BEFORE you pay for any subscription. Do not expect proper customer service after you become a paying client.

Pros

It offers many applications. If you manage to integrate all information inside the platform to run your business, can be quite useful.

Cons

My experience with Odoo has been very disappointing. Once you become a paid client, it is extremely difficult to receive direct and proper customer support. If you encounter any issues with your account, instead of solving them, they simply redirect you to their website, leaving you without real assistance. Ironically, before subscribing, Odoo will call you all the time with demos, offers, and follow-ups. But once you pay, the attention drastically changes. There is no easy way to contact someone directly to help with technical or account-related problems.

### "Small and big business will love this!"

September 6, 2025

5.0

Pros

I really love how easy Odoo fits sales management in one place. It is super helpful and saves me tons of time! It also offered me an almost instant customer support when I first joined the platform, asked me if I needed anything and lending a helping hand.

Cons

I didn't like how only one element was free. I mean, I understand they need to earn money somehow, but as a new business I would've liked to try more elements for my small store.

Pros

I like the way have in odoo is one big ecosystem, which helps a lot for my clients to have all services in one place. Also have no issues so far with customer service.

Cons

Some of the more advanced modules feel a bit basic compared to dedicated tools. Also customization can get pricey when you need something outside the standard setup.

### "Refrain from the Odoo nightmare"

February 28, 2025

2.0

To date we spent $48,000 CDN on Odoo and implementation. 150 hours from Odoo support did not result in a satisfactory setup. We hired a private Odoo specialist to actually get our books up and running. Odoo was not proficient enough to deal with Canadian tax system. Now we notice huge structural mistakes made by Odoo implementation specialists. No bueno. Odoo does not care. "Pay if you want anything from us" is their mantra. Do not consider Odoo! This will be a regrettable and expensive mistake if you do.

Pros

One platform for everything. If this works how much time would you save to track from Quoting to Sale to Manufacture to Shipping. What could go wrong?!

Cons

One platform for everything sounds good but then it just does not give you what you need and want. Accounting is a nightmare. Way to complicated to stay on track. And Odoo Support is the worst on Earth.

### "It runs my entire business."

October 29, 2024

5.0

Going on 3 years with it, still liking it.

Pros

My entire business runs on Odoo. I don't have to try to sync data between multiple apps.

Cons

The appearance is very utilitarian, it could be made to be more appealing. I hate that I am forced to doing a purchase order, then receive and order and then a vendor bill and then a vendor payment. You should be able to simplify all of that from just 1 vendor payment screen.

December 4, 2024

I am very impressed with Odoo overall. It is an excellent program that is appropriate for the fast paced, intricate business environment of today's world.

Pros

### "free one app plan"

October 24, 2024

4.0

In general good. The drag and drop is unfortunately less flexible than I experienced with Elementor (e.g. photos can only be posted as 100%, 50% or 25%.) But with a little creativity and adaptability, I made it work for what I need.

Pros

I like the fact that the one-app free plan is free and free for life. I have figured out though I have to be careful NOT to (unconsciously) trigger another app to change my free for life plan to a paid subscription.

Cons

What I didn't like is the lack of clarity of the free one-app plan. Some of the building blocks you can drag into a website come with an "install" pop up, but it should come up with a pop up that explains CLEARLY : "installing this feature will change your free app to a paid subscription. I only clicked to install the website app and "live-chat" and "e-commerce" popped up on my websites page. It seems there were features in those 2 apps that triggered the paid subscription plan. Yes... I didn't go through all the instruction video's, but I think Odoo could be more clear about which apps belong together to stay on the one-app free plan. On the apps page Website app is listed with 5 sub apps. I assumed all of them automatically belong together in the free one-app plan, but I seemed to be wrong. Odoo need to be more clear about this. My problem is now solved (with very good client service), but it could have been avoided if Odoo was clearer on how and when the paid subscription gets triggered,... what belongs together so it won't trigger.

Odoo is intuitive and pleasant to use. The clean design and logical workflow have led to high adoption rates among our team.

Pros

Odoo is cost-effective compared to the combined licensing fees of Salesforce, NetSuite, QuickBooks, and a separate e-commerce platform, Odoo is a bargain. Odoo is simple to use and it is the best for sales management.

Cons

### "Odoo's Excellence In Website Creation & Designing With Zero Coding Skills "

July 18, 2025

5.0

Odoo doesn't require the user to have coding skills to build a well functioning Website for they do all that for your without coding skills. Odoo has modernised how things used to work from the analogue fashion of having to have skills to create Websites to Digitalisation of Web-creation through one touch of a button.

Pros

Odoo is a nice Website builder platform that i find to be really easy to use and one with a user-friendly interface.

Cons

Odoo lacks nothing at all. I tend to find this software rather easy to use for Web creation and designing. I don’t have problems with the platform.

### "Powerful ERP System with Endless Customization Possibilities"

July 23, 2025

5.0

We’ve been using Odoo for several years in both internal operations and client projects. Its open-source flexibility allowed us to develop industry-specific modules and connectors like WooCommerce to Odoo integration, which we offer via our Prefortune app store. Overall, Odoo gives us the control and scalability we need for small to mid-size businesses looking to automate and grow.

Pros

Odoo offers an all-in-one solution that scales beautifully with business needs. The modular approach makes it easy to implement what you need, from CRM and inventory to accounting and eCommerce. We especially benefited from the flexibility Odoo gives developers—using it, we’ve even built our own apps like the WooCommerce Connector available on the Prefortune store, which integrates perfectly for real-time sync.

Cons

The initial setup can be overwhelming for new users, especially when dealing with customizations or third-party integrations. Documentation has improved, but more examples and real-life implementation cases would be helpful.

After the first weeks, Odoo helps save time every day and reduces manual work. It is a solid tool to manage most parts of a growing business.

Pros

Prior to Odoo, we were managing within five different systems. Now all of our payroll to inventory valuation is centralized, enabling us to be scalable and lower overhead costs.

Pros

Since Odoo is modular we can run accounting, inventory, manufacturing all in one platform. What I find particularly valuable is that everything is related to the financials and directly to supply chain: you have accurate cost tracking.

Cons

Some modules are less mature than others. We had to do a lot of customization and onboarding to get it tweaked just right for our processes.

Be prepared to still have manual input for your workflow processes despite paying high dollars. It does the job but doesnt justify paying that much more. Also, of you plan to scale the business you will be limited with the app.

Pros

### "HARD TO USE -> DOCS completely OUT OF DATE + ARROGANT EMPLOYEES!"

June 23, 2025

1.0

Buyer beware!! If this is how they treat potential customers who give real feedback, hate to see what they do with paid customers who will have a hard time switching out once they've invested in the platform.

Pros

Lists a lot of robust features and company has been around. Says they are a one-stop shop that can integrated all aspects of your business.

Cons

Horrible arrogance!! After signing up for a trial, received a phone call from Account Rep to check up on me. As soon as I started giving him negative feedback on my initial experience (documentation was COMPLETELY out of date - Support had to send me a totally different workflow to get basic task of connecting bank accounts set up) and the fact that I was concerned what else might be out of date...he flippantly said that their docs are often outdated and that's just how it is....then HUNG UP on me mid-sentence (if line disconnected, I'd assume he'd call me back - but never did).

### "Don't do it...especially if you have a lot of products with variations"

March 21, 2025

1.0

Pathetic. My original Odoo helper lead me in directions that cost a lot of time and didn't work. Trying to import products with variations is a nightmare...even when Odoo do the import themselves the final outcome is nothing but a mess of mis matched data.

Pros

Not much. Maybe the system is OK if you are starting from scratch, but migrating to Odoo from another platform is just insanely complicated and the import functionality is third rate.

Cons
