### "The #1 Business Management Solution Worldwide."

December 10, 2024

5.0

Pros

Odoo’s greatest strength lies in its ability to integrate everything a business might need—whether it’s a small, medium, or large enterprise—into one unified platform. Many applications aim to deliver this concept, but Odoo stands out as the best and most effective in achieving it. It truly is "everything in one place." Odoo keeps up with market trends and requirements by offering regular and consistent updates that ensure compatibility with evolving business needs. For example: Need a website for your business? It’s available. Want an online store for e-commerce? It’s included. Require an inventory management system? It’s there. Looking for sales and purchase management? It’s ready. Need tools for real estate, rentals, or subscription management? It’s built-in. With over 70 applications, Odoo caters to nearly every industry in the world, including: Supermarkets Legal services Construction companies Restaurants and cafes Engineering firms Bakeries Subscription-based software businesses Training institutes Salons Real estate agencies Clothing stores Libraries Fitness clubs Non-profit organizations …and many more sectors, covering every aspect and requirement a business might have. Additionally, Odoo offers flexibility for customization—from adding custom fields and tables to integrating seamlessly with other systems. Its automation features streamline operations, making workflows faster, easier, and less labor-intensive. While it’s impossible to highlight all of Odoo’s advantages in one review, I firmly believe that Odoo is well on its way to becoming the #1 business management solution worldwide.

Cons

I think the payment providers not available in all counties for online store

### "Odoo!! Ohh, do? Yes, you should do."

October 11, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Odoo is phenomenal. Everything you need from the start of your vision to your exit plan. If you have multiple businesses or different ventures, you can manage everything as the admin without it interfering with each business. It’s really flexible and lets you organize things exactly how you want. I like to think of it like making a sandwich. Maybe you want bread, maybe you want lettuce instead whatever works for you, it’s all there. That’s the beauty of Odoo: it adapts to your creative vision. On top of that, you can create your own apps, integrate your own tools, and truly make the platform work for you and or your clients. You really can’t go wrong with it. I personally use one account for everything I do, and as someone with experience building and selling businesses, managing warehouses, handling finance, and helping others scale their operations, I need a system that keeps me organized without feeling overwhelmed. Odoo delivers that, especially because of their free trial you get access to the full platform with no limitations.

Pros

What I love most about Odoo is how powerful and simple it is at the same time. It’s affordable, customizable, and gives you everything you need to run your business in one place. Finances, websites, inventory, employees, task management … seriously it’s all there and fully integrated. And here’s the real secret: it might sound like a lot, but it’s not. You can make it as simple or as advanced as you want. Three steps. Click. Click. Boom. You’re in. Odoo is built for continuous improvement. The easier the system, the faster the results. The world overcomplicates everything, but Odoo gives you clarity. One icon, one login, everything right there. And the support team is solid; they reach out and help you stay aligned so your business flows effortlessly. I use Odoo to manage multiple ventures, and it’s allowed me to help entrepreneurs, startups, and even 100 million dollar companies run with full transparency and confidence.

Cons

The only downside is that the trial eventually ends! I was like, “D#$n, I knew it was too good to be true!” Honestly, there really isn’t anything not to like about it. Side note: They will let you know ahead of time and help you get the paid version, which is the same version! of course you know they have to pay for the space and whatever else and employees and all that stuff and make it make sense. And a good thing about it is it’s not like the other platforms like when your trial period over all your stuff is locked down and you have to pay for it right then and you can’t access your stuff which causes a domino effect … they work with you and Your stuff is still there and it’s not shut down … 404

### "my with business Odoo"

June 30, 2026

4.0

Complete elimination of information silos. All teams work on the same interface, guaranteeing perfect consistency of operational data and optimizing overall business management.

Pros

Odoo's core strength lies in its fully integrated "Swiss Army knife" approach. Being able to start with a single module and activate others as the business grows is a true luxury. Information flows are automated to the extreme: a customer order instantly triggers an inventory update and prepares the corresponding invoice without any duplicate data entry.

Cons

Major version updates regularly bring frustrating technical bugs to customized modules. Furthermore, subscription costs accelerate quickly as you stack applications and users.

### "Odoo subscription account deletion"

November 13, 2025

1.0

My experience with odoo can be described in 1 word a nightmare. No one should be in this situation waking up to see that the fully paid subscription account with database and pos completly deleted without prior notice and althoug im the admin of the odoo shop account. But what i didnt know that the odoo partner i signed with have scamed me and created my odoo shop under there company accouny which is a clear data ownership Violation.

Pros

Online pos system. Accounting and easy to navigate. All features are available in this software it only lacks a good customer service.

Cons

My Odoo database — which I paid for and which should have been created under my company’s ownership — was created and controlled entirely under ADG’s ( odoo authorised partner) internal account. Because of this, ADG was able to delete my database and remove my access without any authorization. This situation raises several extremely serious points: 1. Data Ownership Violation: Despite paying for a full-year Odoo subscription, my database was never created under my CompanyID. It was created under the partner’s internal account, which contradicts Odoo’s customer ownership policy. Odoo support didnt show the minimum responsibility regarding this big error and considered it as an inconvenience situation and the only thing they offered is to create a new account and told me to redo the wholework myself again. Since my contract with ADG is paused due to delay in project delivery several times.

Alternatives considered

[Sage Sales Management](https://www.capterra.com/p/153130/Forcemanager/)

Reason for choosing Odoo

I thought I'd have a professional program, but it is almost a scam. I paid for a yearly subscription and invested money with an Odoo partner, and they deleted my account with a click. Odoo considers this issue an inconvenience. My subscription is on, but I have no account. Can anyone imagine this error? It is only because I live in Africa that this can happen. If I were in Europe or the USA, I would have sued Odoo and their stupid partner for this deadly error.

### "Excellent Product - Odoo "

April 1, 2026

4.0

Its been good and easy to use , there have been no issues or glitches in the product, works smoothly . Support team is also good.

Pros

It’s genuinely one of the easiest tools to get started with, even for someone who isn’t from a specific background. All the modules as very user friendly. What stands out is the value for money, you get a lot of functionality without it feeling overly complex or expensive. The flexibility to customize based on business needs is a big plus and most clients already trust and relate to the brand, which makes adoption much smoother.

Cons

There is no module wise pricing - we have to pay one cost and you get a bunch of apps , which even if your not using is there. Would rather prefer to pay module wise for the apps that i useful to the company so that costs come down

### "Unfinished Project over 1 year in."

April 24, 2026

1.0

We contracted with Odoo to develop a custom ERP solution for our small business over a year ago, and the project remains unfinished to this day. Throughout this process we have experienced constant developer turnover — multiple different developers have been assigned to our project, requiring us to repeatedly restart and re-explain our requirements. Each handoff has brought new delays, miscommunications, and lost progress. For a small business, this kind of prolonged uncertainty is not just frustrating — it's damaging. We've invested significant time and money into a system we still cannot use. Deadlines have been missed repeatedly with little accountability or transparency. If you are a small business considering Odoo's development services, I would strongly urge you to think carefully. The software platform itself may have merit, but the implementation and project management we experienced was unreliable and unprofessional.

Pros

The ERP as a whole has great functionality for small business. Very good and simple software, easy to work with at scale.

Cons

Dishonesty, lack of professionalism, false promises on deadlines, refused to give a hard target date on software development.

### "I tried Odoo so you don't have to"

September 12, 2025

1.0

Not great. I couldn't even make the free trial work. It seemed confused if it wanted to be free or wanted me to sign up and I kept going in a circle.

Pros

Seems like a great idea. Lots of modules that can help a smaller business look like an Enterprise business. I was tired of paying $65 a month to Intuit and $700 a year to DocuSign. There's got to be a better way, right?

Cons

I talked to a salesperson. I wasn't sure what his objective was other than to get me to sign up for a paid version and sign a 5 year deal. Whoa, Pilgrim! He was a jack of all trades and master of none, meaning he did not have detailed understanding of how the accounting module worked. Basic stuff like split categorization. I told him I wanted the free version to see how I liked the software and then I could move my European susidiary on if it all worked out. Once I clicked the link he gave me I could not figure out how to use the softward and I gave up.

Alternatives considered

### "Simple, good for small organisations, but has limited funtionality"

March 19, 2026

3.0

Generally it was easy to use, but often we were lacking functionality, when it was coming to structuring the data or when we wanted to have more advanced functions.

Pros

Odoo is mostly really easy to use, since most of the functions are simple and straight away. No need to long customizing, which makes it a good deal for small to medium organisations.

Cons

If you need some advanced funtionality Odoo is not the best solution. For large organisations, where you need to work with big amount of data, it makes difficult to clasfy, filter you information on a precise way.

### "Ultra Paretto Effect : 80% in a few minutes, 20 last in a few days ç"

October 24, 2024

4.0

I had 2 experiences : 1) Helped a student to scaffold a blog => OK easy 2) I hoped to scaffold really quickly a simple WebShop for a Volley ball club, based on the free tiers offer. Didn't want to manage it for them. But I quickly understood thant couldn't manage the entire process without a long training. You should provite "simplified worklfow".

Pros

Service, easy to START a project, in a few minutes, with a few questions, you create a website that SEEMS to fit your needs. Response time of the web interface is really great, that convinced me to use it. The feeling is good at first sight .. but ...

Cons

Then when you start to dig into the details, it's really hard to setup it. Absolutely not user friendly. Some Workflox / UX designs are juste ... horrible. Setup is spread everywhere in different Apps. You quickly need to dig really deep to understand the product. Only "developer" oriented (I'm a developer) Online documentation is a mess. Seems to be great but is always partally translated (in FR), resulting in "Frenchglish" documentation.

Overall it's been good for very basic things. As soon as you need something integrated or complex it gets difficult and not the best.

### "Odoo really does work most of the time"

April 3, 2026

5.0

It has stopped the rest of the team from having to utilize hundreds of spreadsheets that I hate. The bank feed allows me to know what is going to happen by the end of the month instead of being caught off guard. I can access this system with my cell phone while sitting at the dentist office waiting. As we continue to expand into various countries and subsequently multiple currency accounts, odoo can manage them all. Since we transitioned away from quickbooks, the audit trail is much cleaner and the auditors can simply go through their process.

Pros

The reports give you current, live numbers, IF (AND WHEN) you ever get around to putting in the actual data. We were forced to hire someone to repair the api, however once done it will transfer transactions from another platform which is acceptable. The csv imports for 1099s and customer additions are faster than I thought they would be.

Cons

When viewing things at the top level, I dislike seeing where an invoice belongs to within an entity since you cannot tell while running a report. Also, the tools used for creating your own custom reports are completely frustrating.

### "A Cost-Effective, All-in-One ERP Solution"

July 7, 2025

4.0

Overall, we really like Odoo and believe it offers excellent value for money. The platform brings a wide range of features together in one place, helping us streamline operations and improve visibility across the business. The Odoo team has been helpful, energetic, and genuinely interested in ensuring we get the most out of the system. Their support has made a real difference in our implementation journey. We would happily recommend Odoo to other businesses looking for a flexible and cost-effective ERP solution.

Pros

Odoo brings all core business functions—such as sales, inventory, purchasing, accounting, CRM, and manufacturing—together in one place. This reduces the need for multiple disconnected systems and streamlines operations.

Cons

Fragmented Communication: One of the biggest challenges is how Odoo segments communication by object—such as a sales order, invoice, or specific contact. This makes it difficult to view a complete history of interactions with a client in one central place. For businesses with multiple team members handling the same client, this lack of visibility can hinder collaboration and create gaps in service continuity.

### "Powerful ERP System with Endless Customization Possibilities"

July 23, 2025

5.0

We’ve been using Odoo for several years in both internal operations and client projects. Its open-source flexibility allowed us to develop industry-specific modules and connectors like WooCommerce to Odoo integration, which we offer via our Prefortune app store. Overall, Odoo gives us the control and scalability we need for small to mid-size businesses looking to automate and grow.

Pros

Odoo offers an all-in-one solution that scales beautifully with business needs. The modular approach makes it easy to implement what you need, from CRM and inventory to accounting and eCommerce. We especially benefited from the flexibility Odoo gives developers—using it, we’ve even built our own apps like the WooCommerce Connector available on the Prefortune store, which integrates perfectly for real-time sync.

Cons

The initial setup can be overwhelming for new users, especially when dealing with customizations or third-party integrations. Documentation has improved, but more examples and real-life implementation cases would be helpful.

### "Worst ERP Experience Ever — Avoid Odoo Dubai"

July 29, 2025

1.0

Extremely disappointing. After over 6 months of back-and-forth with their Dubai team, not a single functional module was delivered. Every time they claimed something was ready, we’d test and find bugs immediately. This was only for the HR module — we never got to implement more advanced features. A complete waste of time and money.

Pros

Honestly, nothing. The experience was full of delays, poor communication, and technical errors. Even the standard HR module was full of bugs.

Cons

Lack of expertise, zero accountability, and no customer support. Every promised deadline was missed, and they completely ignored our complaints. The Dubai branch in particular was extremely unprofessional — they refused to refund us or even respond properly.

Instead of piecing together multiple tools, Odoo integrates key business functions in one system which can simplify workflows and reduce tool sprawl.

Pros

Odoo’s biggest strength is its modular design...you can pick and choose what apps you need (CRM, inventory, accounting, project management, e-commerce, HR, etc.) and grow by adding more later.

Cons

What I like least is that while modular pricing seems flexible, costs can escalate quickly if you unlock many features or add a lot of users.

Be prepared to still have manual input for your workflow processes despite paying high dollars. It does the job but doesnt justify paying that much more. Also, of you plan to scale the business you will be limited with the app.

Pros

Odoo provides CRM, sales, accounting, and allows for streamlining operations. It's easy to deploy and has all basic features that you would expect.

Cons

Can get very expensive very fast. You can unlock features by purchasing them separately. Has out-dated IDE and very basic functions.

### "Flexible ERP with Many Modules"

September 9, 2025

4.0

Pros

I like that Odoo provides a wide range of modules for CRM, finance, and operations, all integrated into one ecosystem.

Cons

Some modules lack depth compared to specialized tools, and setup can be tricky without technical knowledge.
