Ele não é configurado para tributação brasileira, quem faz esse processo é uma empresa terceira que precisa pagar até para emissão de orçamentos. Já contratamos mais de 400 horas e ainda não conseguimos efetuar toda a implantação. Pros O que mais atraiu no foi a simplicidade e facilidade de uso. A gestão de do CRM e facilidade de comunicação com os clientes também é um ponto positivo. Cons O sistema cobra para fazer orçamentos e emissão de notas fiscais. A implantação é lenta, confusa, para efetuar implantação é demorado e precisa de varias correções e mesmo que o erro seja deles, eles cobram para refazer o próprio erro. Não existe canal de telefone e a lei brasileira exige que exista meio de comunicação via telefone. O diretor pouco se importa com os clientes e se voce perder o controle por conta de prejuízos gerados por eles, ele te manda um e-mail te ameaçando que irá suspender o uso do sistema. Uma empresa grande, com boa ferramenta, mas totalmente despreparada para os clientes brasileiros, quem sabe possa melhorar em alguns anos. I wanted to use it. I was and still am unsure the best way to operate whether setting it up on our own servers or running it on other servers from people running it as a third party service. Pros The product itself is amazing. It can do just about anything. There are plenty of features across all business elements to run your entire business off Odoo. Cons Very very clunky and requires a fair bit of manipulation to set it up how you want. You will need a true programmer to fix things to talk how you want them to talk. You will need a programmer to set it up to best run whatever field you are in. Most others are fairly easy to frame as you want with some basic tech knowledge. needs more. Support team is also good. Pros It’s genuinely one of the easiest tools to get started with, even for someone who isn’t from a specific background. All the modules as very user friendly. What stands out is the value for money, you get a lot of functionality without it feeling overly complex or expensive. The flexibility to customize based on business needs is a big plus and most clients already trust and relate to the brand, which makes adoption much smoother. President Automotive Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Database Shutdown Over Disputed Fees Created Serious Operational Risk" May 11, 2026 1.0 initially looked like a powerful all-in-one ERP platform, and we invested heavily into building our operations around it. Over time, however, the platform became increasingly difficult and expensive to maintain and upgrade due to the amount of customization required for real-world business use. Our recent experience was extremely concerning. We disputed a large unsupported-version surcharge that we do not believe we accepted contractually, and our database was subsequently shut down/restricted. After restoration, critical email-fetch services began failing, impacting communications and operations. Support acknowledged the issue but could not resolve it immediately and eventually escalated it to another team. Pros is highly customizable and can centralize many parts of a business into a single platform. The flexibility of the modules and ability to build custom workflows is one of its strongest features. For companies willing to heavily invest in development, it can become deeply integrated into operations, inventory, communications, and accounting. The issue is that once your company becomes deeply integrated into Odoo, upgrading versions becomes extremely expensive and operationally risky. In our case, we built a significant portion of our stack around Odoo, making major upgrades potentially cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in redevelopment and testing. Cons Our biggest issue was billing, support, and operational risk. attempted to charge us a large unsupported-version fee that we dispute and do not believe we ever contractually accepted. After disputing the fee, our database access was shut down/restricted, forcing us into an extremely difficult position operationally. After the database was restored, we began having issues with our email-fetch services and incoming emails were no longer properly entering the system. Odoo support acknowledged that the mail process was failing/crashing and ultimately escalated the issue because it could not be resolved immediately. For a business-critical ERP platform, database access, predictable billing, and urgent support should be far more reliable than what we experienced. However, we later discovered that maintaining and upgrading a heavily customized Odoo environment can become extremely expensive and operationally risky. Once deeply integrated into your business, migrating away or upgrading versions can require enormous redevelopment effort and cost. The bank feed allows me to know what is going to happen by the end of the month instead of being caught off guard. I can access this system with my cell phone while sitting at the dentist office waiting. As we continue to expand into various countries and subsequently multiple currency accounts, can manage them all. Since we transitioned away from quickbooks, the audit trail is much cleaner and the auditors can simply go through their process. Pros The reports give you current, live numbers, IF (AND WHEN) you ever get around to putting in the actual data. We were forced to hire someone to repair the api, however once done it will transfer transactions from another platform which is acceptable. The csv imports for 1099s and customer additions are faster than I thought they would be. Cons When viewing things at the top level, I dislike seeing where an invoice belongs to within an entity since you cannot tell while running a report. En la compra por primera vez no se especifica bien la existencia de dos sistemas en el cual el inicial (sas) termina auto limitando la capacidad del programa obligando a quien lo adquiere a mudarse a otro sistema (sh) que por supuesto cuesta más caro, pero lo peor del caso es que obliga a comenzar todo de nuevo. 2. Tampoco se informa que se debe contratar a una empresa local para operativizar el programa con un costo absolutamente ilógico (dos presupuestos pedidos y ninguno es menor que la compra inicial del programa, con un vencimiento de 3 a 6 meses también con limitaciones, si se quiere adquirir un full para solo 6 meses el costo de la empresa terciarizadora puede superar los USD12.000. I filed complaints with the \[sensitive content hidden\]. I still want to use because the product itself is strong, but the lack of accountability, transparency, and remedy for a paid service I couldn’t use has left a lasting negative impression. Pros The core product is strong. The modules are well-integrated, task workflows are efficient, and the cloud platform is robust. Navigation is intuitive once configured, and from a functionality standpoint, has enormous potential for managing sales, transactions, and daily operations. Cons Customer support and sales accountability. I was sold Odoo.sh with written assurances of free migration, only to find out after paying $1,785.60 that my database version (18.3) was not supported on SH. This critical limitation was never disclosed before purchase. For over 50 days I had no access to the service I paid for, was repeatedly handed between teams, and promises of rebates/credits went unfulfilled. Escalation requests to executives went ignored. De plus lorsque je paye le 20 depuis, ils coupent le site plusieurs jours avant cela dans le mois et me facturent des frais en plus parce que c'est moi qui n'ait pas réglé en temps et en heure. Tout le monde s'accorde à dire que c'est injuste, mais on me dit que c'est comme ça et pas autrement. De plus leur service client met plusieurs jours à répondre, le service technique clôture les tickets de bug sans rien faire et sans vous contacter. It offers quality task automations that has allowed us to streamline our routine tasks by automating them. Odoo has a very reliable customer service team who have always been dedicated to support us everytime we reach out to them. Its advanced learning management platform has an intuitive interface that makes it for us to provide our students with e-learning services. Cons has always stood firm and responded greatly to our needs. We have not found any aspect not to like about it. Everything Machinery Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Refrain from the Odoo nightmare" February 28, 2025 2.0 To date we spent $48,000 CDN on and implementation. 150 hours from Odoo support did not result in a satisfactory setup. We hired a private Odoo specialist to actually get our books up and running. Odoo was not proficient enough to deal with Canadian tax system. Now we notice huge structural mistakes made by Odoo implementation specialists. No bueno. Odoo does not care. "Pay if you want anything from us" is their mantra. Do not consider Odoo! This will be a regrettable and expensive mistake if you do. Pros One platform for everything. If this works how much time would you save to track from Quoting to Sale to Manufacture to Shipping. What could go wrong?! Cons One platform for everything sounds good but then it just does not give you what you need and want. Accounting is a nightmare. Way to complicated to stay on track. And Support is the worst on Earth.
