" February 12, 2026 5.0 Overall, Odoo is a really great app. It is very easy to learn and use. Many features like customization, tasks tracking, multiple integration and automation are available which saves a lot of time. It's been around 4 months i have been using Odoo and i love it. From sales and invoicing to task management everything is at one place. Pricing goes up as we app more features and apps however it is worth to use it. Pros The best thing about Odoo is that it is all in one integration. It manages sales, CRM, inventory, HR, accounting and projects. Odoo also automates many stuffs such as invoicing, workflow approvals and follow ups which saves a lot of time. It is also very easy to use and has features for customization. It is a good value for the money. Cons Customer support feels bit slow with lower price subscriptions. With Higher plans subscription the customer service is feaster somehow. They did not really want to assist to help you figure out what the problem was because I guess it’s a scam. They were disrespectful, passive aggressive. I no longer wanted to use their services which I really never used it because I was unable to access anything in their portal. They said that there was no problem with their portal, but clearly there was a problem if professional that is skilled in that field was unable to access it as well. All they’re trying to do is take the customers money without assisting them and then they’re trying to scam you to pay a lump sum amount for them still not to assist you. They said it wasn’t in their job description to assist you in learning their platform when I came to the person that is handling my account he kept saying I’m not gonna do it for you, but I wasn’t asking him to do anything for me. I was asking him to help me navigate the portal guide me, give me steps and I took all the steps that they gave me and their portal still wasn’t accessible. This company is not legit. This company does not care about their customers. They just care about getting the money and not assisting the customers and then having attitude when customer comes to them with an issue. Pros This company sold a good story, but could not fulfill what they were actually marketing Cons So this company tries to sell you a $3500 subscription for them to navigate you through the whole thing and they also sell a monthly subscription for $46 and some change. When I asked the person, \[sensitive content hidden\] that was in charge of my account to assist me in getting informed with the platform, he said that that is not in his job description, but prior to that he said if I needed any help navigating the system to contact him. So I called the customer support to see how they can support me and they told me that \[sensitive content hidden\] the person that is in charge of my account was supposed to assist me in navigating and then \[sensitive content hidden\] said that is not in his job description. So I also got a professional to see if they would be able to assist me outside of their company, and the professional was unable to access their program either the apps were not working you weren’t able to access them at all. They’re just there for show I was charged for a second month when I didn’t even access our program ever since they sent me the message saying that there was nothing wrong with it, but if I’m telling them, there’s something wrong with it, I’m not able to access there’s something wrong with their program. So I call back and I speak to the customer support and they said that they couldn’t assist me. They have to talk to another team member in order to assist me. Then I called back and just talked to another customer support and they basically told me that they have a fortune $5 million companies that are working with them and I simply said that does not matter to me. What matters to me is my experience is that I’m having with you and your platform, it is not accessible. so basically they didn’t take any accountability for anything. They basically was just saying oh sorry it didn’t work out for you, but everything seems good on our end which it’s not good on my end if I needed to access the portal for my business so pretty much they said I was not gonna be receiving any type of refund. The customer service was overall horrible. It sounds like they don’t know anything that they’re talking about and it pretty much is a scam. They don’t take any accountability and they don’t connect with the customers thoroughly. They deflect and make it seem like it’s the customer‘s fault that they can’t access the portal when it’s actually their portal that is not accessible. Pros Tiene muchas funcionalidades y módulos que se pueden usar en un todo en uno. Además tiene un precio accesible. Cons NO está listo para Chile, aunque lo venden así, NO se enlaza correctamente con el SII, ni salen las facturas y guías como deben salir en el sistema chileno. Removing users does nothing to reduce it. You'll keep getting charged the higher amount until their support team manually adjusts your subscription. My experience: 1. Removed users (following their documentation exactly) 2. Got charged full amount 3. Contacted support - they promised to fix it but didn't 4. Got charged full amount again next month 5. Support again promised a fix and refund - then went silent 6. Put a temporary freeze on my card after more silence 7. As expected, they attempted to charge the full amount again for the third month in a row 8. Another round with support. Finally adjusted the user count but refused to refund the overcharges citing the "no refunds" policy. 9. Went into ghosting mode and canceled my subscription for non-payment. At that point, they were holding enough of my overpayments to cover 4 months of future service. Let that sink in - this is a b2b service provider who: - Keeps charging you after you remove users - Ignores support requests about billing for months - Uses "no refunds" policy to keep money they shouldn't have charged - Cuts off business customers rather than fixing their mistake This isn't some consumer app - this is enterprise software. For a company selling to businesses, this behavior is completely unprofessional. Save yourself the headache. There are plenty of enterprise software providers who understand how to properly handle b2b relationships. This isn't one of them. Pros Good value when it works (accounting module only) Cons This is the company that will ghost you and terminate your service rather than fix their billing mistake. Pros Since Odoo is modular we can run accounting, inventory, manufacturing all in one platform. What I find particularly valuable is that everything is related to the financials and directly to supply chain: you have accurate cost tracking. Cons Some modules are less mature than others. Pros Very good and support team, mostly excellent configurability, wide range of functionality and modularity is great. Cons Price of license with odoo.sh Especially for small and one-person companies like mine odoo.sh is prohibitively expensive. I only need one license for myself. odoo.sh de facto triples the license price for a single user account. I would love the many customization options that are only available with odoo.sh but there simply is no way I can justify such a major cost increase. For companies with 5 or more users, odoo.sh is less of an issue and at 10+ it starts to become a negligible increase. I would love to see a hosting price that starts a lot lower for odoo.sh if the account uses only one license or maybe a staggered hosting price for 1-5 licenses. I would be totally happy with a Server that has more limitations or one that is heavily overbooked with single user accounts, since the chance more than a tiny fraction is active at the same time is negligible. For small to medium businesses it can do what is needed right out of the box. Be prepared to pay for third-party apps and support once in a while. Pros The features available in the Community Edition are mostly enough for what we need to do and is standardises processes across the board. We can then sell other small business work for configuring their own since we use it too. A lot of the business functions and processes are already built in, it is just a matter of activating the module you need and then configure it. The e-commerce feature is the simplest I have used, almost anyone can create products because it was built from a layman's perspective. The community is vibrant and helps with some issues if you have them. You might have to pay a partner for support and added functionality which is mostly once off. For a fraction of the cost, there is no worry of licence renewals just hosting fees. Cons Some functionalities which are basic in alternatives are not available even in the cloud version. You need to test third-party apps yourself which you might not have the time for and can break current functionality. Not all issues are addressed in the forums if it is not a common issue; a lot of issues are still open from previous versions. The official documentation is sometimes shallow. After signing up for a trial, received a phone call from Account Rep to check up on me. As soon as I started giving him negative feedback on my initial experience (documentation was COMPLETELY out of date - Support had to send me a totally different workflow to get basic task of connecting bank accounts set up) and the fact that I was concerned what else might be out of date...he flippantly said that their docs are often outdated and that's just how it is....then HUNG UP on me mid-sentence (if line disconnected, I'd assume he'd call me back - but never did).
