Linked with sales and invoicing, it provided a full end-to-end vision of the clients’ interaction from the quotation stage to fulfillment and invoicing. Cons I had challenges especially with identifying the exact duration to should take for each task in the project. His service has been excellent. Which makes our experience with this ERP all the better! Pros Our company likes Odoo because it offers app-based modules that are easy to use. The entire software is capable of streamlining our processes and provides real-time data to all facets of our corporation. We also really like our implementation expert, \[sensitive content hidden\]. He makes Odoo great! Cons The learning curve for implementing an any ERP can be extensive; Odoo isn't necessarily more difficult to implement and may, in fact, be easier to implement than other ERPs. If I had to choose a negative about Odoo - it would be that if you build a sandbox database and choose to go live with that same database, many of the items, transactions, records, logs, etc. cannot be deleted/cleared from the sandbox database. It really helped to bring focus on order processing speed and on the health of inventory Cons When tracking the returns the delivery status updates sometimes provided insufficient information in the backend. We signed up for their subscription at $13.60/month, only to be charged over $30 in the second month despite not adding any apps or users. Their account manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], is completely unprofessional—ignoring emails for days and only responding when relentlessly pushed. The experience dealing with her was beyond frustrating. When we asked for an explanation for the extra charges, they first claimed we used additional apps. After we provided proof that we didn’t, they shifted to saying we added new users—another lie. We sent further proof showing we had only one user, and since then, they’ve gone completely silent. Two weeks, multiple follow-ups, and still no response. We cancelled our subscription out of sheer frustration, losing money in the process. No refund, no accountability, and absolutely no care for their customers. Odoo is a scam. Don’t trust their pricing, their team, or their service. If you value your time and money, stay far away. Excellent system. Pros For SME business, Odoo offers very good value, excellent functionality across a multitude of useful apps and the support is professional and unparalleled. They always resolve any issue quickly. Cons I like most things but not being to permanently change the weird auto text on customer payment follow ups is difficult to understand ( but has nothing to do with support of course). It was easy to track the cost of raw materials, production yields, and all could be traced back to real time financial statements This gave me a better view of the profit point on the production run. Cons I experienced some lag in the backorders and live status when managing multiple SKUs in large or small quantities. It is such a powerful tool, but takes lots of dedication, planning, and testing to really understand how the system works, and how to tailor it for unique business / supply chain challenges. We don't sell widgets that are identical to one another. Everything we buy and sell has unique characteristics which is difficult to transcribe in an ERP system. He's done an excellent job learning how our business operates, and finding solutions to tailor fit Odoo's platform to our particular business challenges. He's been efficient with his implementations, and has been a great partner in getting the most bang for our buck on development needs. Ease of Use. Once you spend a good week using the system, it becomes fairly easy to use and customize. Cons Odoo has been difficult to package purchases into shipping units, which for us are truckload quantities. Odoo has made it difficult to translate between different units of measure that can convert. I wish that I could implement Tableau dashboards into Odoo for executive views. Pros J'aime beaucoup le fait que tout soit intégré. Petit à petit, pour ma gestion d'entreprise je ne sors pratiquement plus d'Odoo. Je me demande même si je ne vais pas abandonner word. Cons J'aimerais pouvoir généré un rapport d'historisation des modifications faite sur Odoo studio, écran par écran, tâches automatisées par tâches automatisées etc.Bref pouvoir sortir dans un format compréhensible ce qui est de studio et ce qui ne l'est pas. Autre chose ça serait bien que dans le module projet on puisse voir la disponibilité mensuelle, journalière des ressources. Ca serait vraiment top, ça me permettrait de ne plus à avoir à saisir à nouveau mes tâches dans un autre logiciel de gestion de projet plus performant à ce niveau.
