Pros

It is an amazing product to interface with. We are building integrations with dozens of other platforms.

Cons

I can be a daunting ecosystem for new developers. The level of complexity for seamingly simple operations can be overwhelming.

Complete elimination of information silos. All teams work on the same interface, guaranteeing perfect consistency of operational data and optimizing overall business management.

Pros

Odoo's core strength lies in its fully integrated "Swiss Army knife" approach. Being able to start with a single module and activate others as the business grows is a true luxury. Information flows are automated to the extreme: a customer order instantly triggers an inventory update and prepares the corresponding invoice without any duplicate data entry.

Cons

Major version updates regularly bring frustrating technical bugs to customized modules. Furthermore, subscription costs accelerate quickly as you stack applications and users.

The software appears capable, but my experience with the sales and subscription process was disappointing. A simple request for flexibility after an unexpected business change was rejected without any goodwill. Overall, it felt more focused on closing the sale than supporting the customer afterward.

Pros

The apps are well integrated, the interface is modern and intuitive, and it appears to be a powerful solution for managing business processes. Based on my experience so far, the software itself looks very promising and offers excellent value in terms of functionality.

Cons

Very inflexible subscription management and poor customer service. There was no willingness to accommodate a reasonable request, and the communication quickly became focused on legal obligations instead of finding a customer-friendly solution. The overall experience felt very sales-driven, with the priority being to secure subscriptions rather than build a long-term customer relationship.

Reasons for choosing Odoo

It offers many integrated apps in one platform, has a modern interface, and seemed like a good fit for our business without requiring a lot of custom development.

Pros

The integrated nature of Odoo is its biggest strength. Having CRM, accounting, and project management all in one place saves a lot of hassle. It handles our sales pipeline and invoicing pretty smoothly. The flexibility to add modules as needed is also great.

Cons

The user interface can feel a bit confusing sometimes, especially when navigating between different apps. Also, finding specific advanced settings isn't always intuitive, which took a bit to figure out. Documentation could be more comprehensive for certain modules.

Odoo has solved our diverse business needs including supply chain management, social media management and all procurement related processes. We have had a very easy time with the product considering that is an all in one business management tool.

Pros

This is our 5th year since we started using Odoo. The software has automated all our manual processes from approval processes control, cash management and work status tracking. It is also very reliable when it comes to file sharing, bailing and invoicing and general inventory management. I likes it's customer support services and effectiveness in SEO management.

Cons

Honestly I have nothing against Odoo. It is user-friendly, customizable and support multi currency. Its templates are very customisable and has auto reminder features.

A true 360-degree view of my business operations in real-time. By centralizing all of my corporate data, I can make strategic decisions much faster and I no longer feel like I am losing valuable information between different software applications.

Pros

What I find absolutely brilliant about Odoo is its all-in-one modular approach. Instead of having one software for my invoices, another for my inventory, and a third for my CRM, I have everything gathered in one place. I started small with just the invoicing module, and then activated other building blocks as my business grew. The interconnection between applications is flawless: when a sale is validated, the inventory updates automatically, and the invoice is generated in a single click. The modern interface makes navigation pleasant for my entire team.

Cons

Odoo's flexibility comes at a price: the initial setup is a monumental task. I had to invest a massive amount of time configuring the tool so that it aligned precisely with my specific business processes, and I have sometimes encountered frustrating bugs after major system updates. Furthermore, while the baseline offer is attractive, as soon as you add custom modules or require dedicated hosting (Odoo.sh) to integrate tailored code, the cost of licenses and technical support climbs significantly.

In the past tracking returns from other countries meant searching through many different disconnected systems to find what I needed. The finance department no longer complained to me about discrepancies between Purchase Orders due to the fact that the software automatically keeps track of everything centrally. Honestly I'm just glad that I can click approve things from my couch instead of having to drive into the warehouse on Saturdays. The customer support is also good.

Pros

The Odoo dashboard puts all of the financial module and the warehouse module information on one screen which is alright I suppose. When we moved to the cloud I had anticipated that the cloud-based database would crash a lot however it seems that it will run for most days without crashing. Going back and forth from a customer's profile to the real-time inventory (live) stock levels isn't a long time either. They do have a somewhat ok-looking screen. So good value for money.

Cons

Odoo essentially blocks you from changing the core coding so if your company has a unique or "weird" way of completing processes then you will need to completely change how your company completes those processes. The on-boarding experience was horrible. On Black Friday, when we were doing our first major use of the system during peak season, the cloud synchronization between the e-commerce frontend and the warehouse logistics literally ran a continuous spinning circle on its loading wheel for 10 minutes straight, and made us appear like complete idiots to the people who were calling in. Doing each of their required updates over and over again is exhausting.

Pros

The integration across modules is fantastic. We've really benefited from having our CRM, accounting, and project management all in one place. It cuts down on so much data entry and makes reporting much simpler than juggling separate systems. Definitely a big win for our workflow.

Cons

Honestly, the user interface can be a bit overwhelming at times, especially with all the options available. Took a bit to figure out where everything was, and some workflows aren't as intuitive as they could be. It's not a huge deal once you're used to it, but that initial learning curve felt steep.

We were using a patchwork of different tools for our CRM, accounting, and project management. It was getting messy and inefficient, especially for tracking sales through to project delivery. Odoo's integrated approach seemed like the best way to tie everything together without constant data re-entry.

Cons

I find that sometimes, the bank syncing does not work that well, and adding plugins is not very easy.

Overall, it was a good experience. There is a learning curve initially, but once I got comfortable with it, things became easier and more efficient.

Pros

I liked that everything is available in one place. Managing sales, CRM, inventory, and other tasks felt more organized compared to switching between multiple tools.

Cons

It took some time to understand in the beginning. Some features were not very intuitive at first, and a few things required searching through documentation or extra setup.
