Pros

Wonderful ERP, for small and big businesses, great CRM, Sales Management, Invoicing, and a big community around the world.

Cons

Some versions have big structure changes and do not always keep compatibility with custom modules written for older versions.

Pros

La infinidad de desarrolladores que hay en muchos países. El precio y la facilidad de integrar aplicaciones propias y externas. Es muy escalable.

Cons

Tal vez le falte un poco de potencia comparado con SAP pero claro, para una PYME o incluso una empresa de cierto tamaño, es imbatible entre otras cosas por su estupendo precio.

I'm not recommending this software. Odoo’s numerous technical issues, poor performance, lack of crucial integrations, and slow support have made it a poor choice for our business. It feels more like an unfinished product than a professional business solution.

Pros

the only good thing about Odoo is it has a lot of modules even for employees appraisal and recruitment.

Cons

the whole database is slow, laggy and most of the time will not load. email marketing clicks are not accurate and "Scheduled" campaigns does not send on time. no native integration with Wordpress or Webflow making it difficult to track website subscriptions Online support is VERY SLOW to respond

It is alway a pleasure working with Odoo cause they have every single tool and features that i need to get tasks done.

Pros

Odoo is easy to use for creating and designing Websites because it doesn't require coding skills. It is amazing for sales management and Transaction management. If you want to secure you transactions Odoo is definitely the platform you should be using because it allows you to see each and every transaction and this helps you so that no one can steal from you.

Cons

I don't have any dislikes from my end cause this platform doesn't have issues for starters and for it works fine.

This platform is cost-effective, the open-source Community version is free, making it highly accessible.

Pros

Odoo is an all-in-one suite of open-source business applications that integrates a vast range of functions from CRM and e-commerce to accounting, inventory, and human resources into a single, modular platform. For Me this means a lot, i only need to use one platform do all of my tasks without having to change platforms. Odoo has an extensive and integrated ecosystem.

Cons

Odoo works well and i haven't come across any dislikes or challenges at all while using this platform.

### "Outil trop complexe pour une TPE"

Nous avons testé Odoo pour centraliser la gestion de plusieurs gîtes et d’un domaine événementiel. Malgré ses nombreuses fonctionnalités, la solution s’est révélée peu adaptée à une TPE. La migration depuis Airtable est très lourde et entièrement manuelle. La personnalisation via Studio reste limitée pour des besoins pourtant simples, notamment pour la relation client et les automatisations. Le module Rental n’est pas conçu pour la location d’hébergements ou la privatisation de lieux, ce qui impose des développements complémentaires. Odoo est un ERP puissant, pensé pour des PME disposant de ressources dédiées. Pour une petite structure, la complexité, le besoin de code et le manque de simplicité rendent l’outil difficile à exploiter. Le support et l’accompagnement n’ont pas été à la hauteur des attentes, malgré un engagement sur la durée.

Pros

Odoo semble particulièrement adapté aux PME structurées ayant des processus bien définis et des ressources internes dédiés pour le paramétrage ou un budget conséquent pour un consultant.

Cons

La solution est complexe à mettre en place pour une petite structure. La migration des données est lourde et peu guidée, la personnalisation via Studio reste limitée pour des besoins pourtant simples, et certaines fonctionnalités nécessitent du code ou l’intervention de consultants. Le module Rental n’est pas adapté à la location d’hébergements. Enfin, l’accompagnement et le support ne sont pas à la hauteur de ce qui est annoncé, ce qui rend l’outil difficile à exploiter de manière autonome pour une TPE. Pas de support fonctionnel.

### "I tried Odoo so you don't have to"

Not great. I couldn't even make the free trial work. It seemed confused if it wanted to be free or wanted me to sign up and I kept going in a circle.

Pros

Seems like a great idea. Lots of modules that can help a smaller business look like an Enterprise business. I was tired of paying $65 a month to Intuit and $700 a year to DocuSign. There's got to be a better way, right?

Cons

I talked to a salesperson. I wasn't sure what his objective was other than to get me to sign up for a paid version and sign a 5 year deal. Whoa, Pilgrim! He was a jack of all trades and master of none, meaning he did not have detailed understanding of how the accounting module worked. Basic stuff like split categorization. I told him I wanted the free version to see how I liked the software and then I could move my European susidiary on if it all worked out. Once I clicked the link he gave me I could not figure out how to use the softward and I gave up.

En general es muy buen software, económico, flexible para adaptar a cualquier tipo de proceso, tiene módulos que otros sistemas ERP ni los han pensado o que resuelven con aplicaciones integradas y que mantienen mantenimiento continuo.

Pros

Flexibilidad para adaptar procesos y experiencia de usuario. Mucha autoomía por parte de los usuarios. Fácil de aprender.

Cons

Para algunos módulos que pueden ser base, como autoservicio de empleados el licenciamiento se vuelve muy costoso.

Creo que es un buen producto pero el fin solo está puesto en obtener un rendimiento tan alto que termina obligando al consumidor a mudarse a otro programa, por los costos abusivos.

Pros

Ninguna, las pocas ventajas que tiene con respecto a su utilización terminan anuladas por brindar poca o muy poca información al adquirir el producto por primera vez.

Cons

1\. En la compra por primera vez no se especifica bien la existencia de dos sistemas en el cual el inicial (sas) termina auto limitando la capacidad del programa obligando a quien lo adquiere a mudarse a otro sistema (sh) que por supuesto cuesta más caro, pero lo peor del caso es que obliga a comenzar todo de nuevo. 2. Tampoco se informa que se debe contratar a una empresa local para operativizar el programa con un costo absolutamente ilógico (dos presupuestos pedidos y ninguno es menor que la compra inicial del programa, con un vencimiento de 3 a 6 meses también con limitaciones, si se quiere adquirir un full para solo 6 meses el costo de la empresa terciarizadora puede superar los USD12.000.

J'en ai vu des hébergeur, mais jamais on ne m'avait aussi mal traité en tant que client

Simple d'accès pour ceux qui ne savent pas coder

Cons

Un WordPress pauvre et à peine plus ergonomique. De plus je payais du 20 au 20, mais du jour au lendemain ils ont décidé de me faire payer le 1er donc un mois du 20 au 1er pour un mois complet. J'ai porté plusieurs réclamations en ce sens et ils n'ont aucune solution. De plus lorsque je paye le 20 depuis, ils coupent le site plusieurs jours avant cela dans le mois et me facturent des frais en plus parce que c'est moi qui n'ait pas réglé en temps et en heure. Tout le monde s'accorde à dire que c'est injuste, mais on me dit que c'est comme ça et pas autrement. De plus leur service client met plusieurs jours à répondre, le service technique clôture les tickets de bug sans rien faire et sans vous contacter. Bref, vous voulez un site allez ailleurs, il en existe des bien meilleurs et pour bien moins cher

We have had a very streamlined experience working with Odoo and have seen immersive change on how we managed our students data. It has helped us to achieve our dreams of streamlining our students school life.

Pros

Odoo has very superior security features that makes it easy for us to keep all our data safe and sound. It offers quality task automations that has allowed us to streamline our routine tasks by automating them. Odoo has a very reliable customer service team who have always been dedicated to support us everytime we reach out to them. Its advanced learning management platform has an intuitive interface that makes it for us to provide our students with e-learning services.

Cons

Odoo has always stood firm and responded greatly to our needs. We have not found any aspect not to like about it.

### "Solid Software, Broken Promises & Abysmal Support"

The software is solid, but the company’s handling of sales, communication, and post-sale support has been the worst I’ve experienced in nearly 50 years of business. I filed complaints with the \[sensitive content hidden\]. I still want to use Odoo because the product itself is strong, but the lack of accountability, transparency, and remedy for a paid service I couldn’t use has left a lasting negative impression.

Pros

The core product is strong. The modules are well-integrated, task workflows are efficient, and the cloud platform is robust. Navigation is intuitive once configured, and from a functionality standpoint, Odoo has enormous potential for managing sales, transactions, and daily operations.

Cons

Customer support and sales accountability. I was sold Odoo.sh with written assurances of free migration, only to find out after paying $1,785.60 that my database version (18.3) was not supported on SH. This critical limitation was never disclosed before purchase. For over 50 days I had no access to the service I paid for, was repeatedly handed between teams, and promises of rebates/credits went unfulfilled. Escalation requests to executives went ignored.

We’ve been using Odoo for several years in both internal operations and client projects. Its open-source flexibility allowed us to develop industry-specific modules and connectors like WooCommerce to Odoo integration, which we offer via our Prefortune app store. Overall, Odoo gives us the control and scalability we need for small to mid-size businesses looking to automate and grow.

Pros

Odoo offers an all-in-one solution that scales beautifully with business needs. The modular approach makes it easy to implement what you need, from CRM and inventory to accounting and eCommerce. We especially benefited from the flexibility Odoo gives developers—using it, we’ve even built our own apps like the WooCommerce Connector available on the Prefortune store, which integrates perfectly for real-time sync.

Cons

The initial setup can be overwhelming for new users, especially when dealing with customizations or third-party integrations. Documentation has improved, but more examples and real-life implementation cases would be helpful.

### "Refrain from the Odoo nightmare"

To date we spent $48,000 CDN on Odoo and implementation. 150 hours from Odoo support did not result in a satisfactory setup. We hired a private Odoo specialist to actually get our books up and running. Odoo was not proficient enough to deal with Canadian tax system. Now we notice huge structural mistakes made by Odoo implementation specialists. No bueno. Odoo does not care. "Pay if you want anything from us" is their mantra. Do not consider Odoo! This will be a regrettable and expensive mistake if you do.

Pros

One platform for everything. If this works how much time would you save to track from Quoting to Sale to Manufacture to Shipping. What could go wrong?!

Cons

One platform for everything sounds good but then it just does not give you what you need and want. Accounting is a nightmare. Way to complicated to stay on track. And Odoo Support is the worst on Earth.

### "Simple, good for small organisations, but has limited funtionality"

Generally it was easy to use, but often we were lacking functionality, when it was coming to structuring the data or when we wanted to have more advanced functions.

Pros

Odoo is mostly really easy to use, since most of the functions are simple and straight away. No need to long customizing, which makes it a good deal for small to medium organisations.

Cons

If you need some advanced funtionality Odoo is not the best solution. For large organisations, where you need to work with big amount of data, it makes difficult to clasfy, filter you information on a precise way.

There was a lack of consistency with the communication between the staff members. They did not really want to assist to help you figure out what the problem was because I guess it’s a scam. They were disrespectful, passive aggressive. I no longer wanted to use their services which I really never used it because I was unable to access anything in their portal. They said that there was no problem with their portal, but clearly there was a problem if professional that is skilled in that field was unable to access it as well. All they’re trying to do is take the customers money without assisting them and then they’re trying to scam you to pay a lump sum amount for them still not to assist you. They said it wasn’t in their job description to assist you in learning their platform when I came to the person that is handling my account he kept saying I’m not gonna do it for you, but I wasn’t asking him to do anything for me. I was asking him to help me navigate the portal guide me, give me steps and I took all the steps that they gave me and their portal still wasn’t accessible. This company is not legit. This company does not care about their customers. They just care about getting the money and not assisting the customers and then having attitude when customer comes to them with an issue.

This company sold a good story, but could not fulfill what they were actually marketing

So this company tries to sell you a $3500 subscription for them to navigate you through the whole thing and they also sell a monthly subscription for $46 and some change. When I asked the person, \[sensitive content hidden\] that was in charge of my account to assist me in getting informed with the platform, he said that that is not in his job description, but prior to that he said if I needed any help navigating the system to contact him. So I called the customer support to see how they can support me and they told me that \[sensitive content hidden\] the person that is in charge of my account was supposed to assist me in navigating and then \[sensitive content hidden\] said that is not in his job description. So I also got a professional to see if they would be able to assist me outside of their company, and the professional was unable to access their program either the apps were not working you weren’t able to access them at all. They’re just there for show I was charged for a second month when I didn’t even access our program ever since they sent me the message saying that there was nothing wrong with it, but if I’m telling them, there’s something wrong with it, I’m not able to access there’s something wrong with their program. So I call back and I speak to the customer support and they said that they couldn’t assist me. They have to talk to another team member in order to assist me. Then I called back and just talked to another customer support and they basically told me that they have a fortune $5 million companies that are working with them and I simply said that does not matter to me. What matters to me is my experience is that I’m having with you and your platform, it is not accessible. so basically they didn’t take any accountability for anything. They basically was just saying oh sorry it didn’t work out for you, but everything seems good on our end which it’s not good on my end if I needed to access the portal for my business so pretty much they said I was not gonna be receiving any type of refund. The customer service was overall horrible. It sounds like they don’t know anything that they’re talking about and it pretty much is a scam. They don’t take any accountability and they don’t connect with the customers thoroughly. They deflect and make it seem like it’s the customer‘s fault that they can’t access the portal when it’s actually their portal that is not accessible.

### "Double TVA perçue"

j'essaye depuis septembre 2024 de régler avec eux un problème grave de double perception TVA. tva percue sur l'acompte dans la caisse +tva perçue sur le montant total de la facture . des échanges de mails en permanence sans solution pour un problème gravissime qui leurs incombent.

Pros

désolé vraiment difficile à dire alors que j'utilise Odoo depuis 2021. pourtant jai horreur du négativisme.

Cons

aucune personnes vraiment responsables dans cette entreprise, renouvellement même dans les responsabilités en continu. La comptabilité est vraiment difficle à maitriser même pour des comptables. la lecture d'une facture client est incompréhensible si acompte perçu. valorisation d'un inventaire incompréhensible.

Pros

All in once solution perfect for smaller teams. Easy to manage the different tools and synchronize the workflow. Customer support is very helpful and willing to assist in set up, going as far as being hands on and fixing issues themselves. A highly coat effective solution.

Cons

I wish there was a feature to payment gate pages, I would like to be able to host an access only page that is not membership access.

Don't waste your time with Odoo... most people who recommend it are being paid a referral fee... the support is extremely slow and almost non-existent in my experience and the services are slow and difficult to learn... I have wasted hundreds on dollars on Odoo and hope you don't make the same mistake.

Pros

Nothing... difficult to use and terrible support!!!! I have been building websites since 1998 and trying to work out how Odoo works is so difficult... in my opinion they make it so difficult so you have to hire someone to use it.

Cons

The software is difficult to work out and use, documentation is poor... it is expensive once you start adding things on and support is terrible.

Pros

Plusieurs outils dans un seul ERP à prix raisonnable ce qui permet de rester dans la même interface pour CRM, Facturation, et site web

Cons

Ça demande du temps pour être formé. Mais quand même ça vaut le détours pour mieux l'apprécier après.

### "Stay away - predatory billing practices"

Here's the issue every Odoo customer needs to know: Adding users in Odoo (as administrator) increases your bill. Removing users does nothing to reduce it. You'll keep getting charged the higher amount until their support team manually adjusts your subscription. My experience: 1. Removed users (following their documentation exactly) 2. Got charged full amount 3. Contacted support - they promised to fix it but didn't 4. Got charged full amount again next month 5. Support again promised a fix and refund - then went silent 6. Put a temporary freeze on my card after more silence 7. As expected, they attempted to charge the full amount again for the third month in a row 8. Another round with support. Finally adjusted the user count but refused to refund the overcharges citing the "no refunds" policy. 9. Went into ghosting mode and canceled my subscription for non-payment. At that point, they were holding enough of my overpayments to cover 4 months of future service. Let that sink in - this is a b2b service provider who: - Keeps charging you after you remove users - Ignores support requests about billing for months - Uses "no refunds" policy to keep money they shouldn't have charged - Cuts off business customers rather than fixing their mistake This isn't some consumer app - this is enterprise software. For a company selling to businesses, this behavior is completely unprofessional. Save yourself the headache. There are plenty of enterprise software providers who understand how to properly handle b2b relationships. This isn't one of them.

Pros

Good value when it works (accounting module only)

Cons

This is the company that will ghost you and terminate your service rather than fix their billing mistake.

Reason for choosing Odoo

It is more customizable and more suitable for an international business. I also liked their consolidation module.

### "Un outil complet"

Un gain de temps considérable et une facilité à gérer ERP et CRM. Souvent les logiciel propose des fonctions ERP ou CRM mais rarement les deux correctement

Pros

Un outil complet une entreprise cherchant à centraliser tout sur un seul logiciel. CRM, ERP, Communication (E-mail, SMS, Sondages) et aussi le SAV

Cons

Impossible de synchroniser automatiquement l'Email Marketing avec la base CRM. Dommage car c'est un des rares inconvénients du logiciel

### "Mala experiencia"

Desafortunadamente fue MUY mala experiencia ya que nos mandaron con consultores de México que no entendían la problemática y sistema Chileno. Compramos horas carísimas para adecuar algo que debía ya estar adecuado (no necesariamente a mi empresa pero al mercado chileno). Además, nos tardamos años en poder implementar ya que quienes nos apoyaban cambiaron y no daban seguimiento (se desconectaban 15 días sin respuesta y después nos cambiaron de consultor).

Pros

Tiene muchas funcionalidades y módulos que se pueden usar en un todo en uno. Además tiene un precio accesible.

Cons

NO está listo para Chile, aunque lo venden así, NO se enlaza correctamente con el SII, ni salen las facturas y guías como deben salir en el sistema chileno. Además de que no se puede facturar tampoco por el sistema. Y el módulo de RH tampoco está listo.
