It is an excellent program that is appropriate for the fast paced, intricate business environment of today's world. Pros The functionality and flexibility. I love the ability to duplicate an entry. Cons I would like to see the ability to move lines up & down while doing journal entries. I also would like to see the ability to use arrow keys to move around to the different lines and fields. En un par de ocasiones que he precisado de asistencia, el equipo ya resuelto mi problema de manera muy eficaz. Pros Simplicidad de uso y gran cantidad de documentación disponible. El soporte es muy eficaz. Cons El tiempo disponible para probar otras aplicaciones (15 días) me resulta escaso para poder probarlo en profundidad, así como para poder exponerlo ante otros miembros de la empresa con el fin de valorar la compra del producto. Reason for choosing Odoo Cuenta con una interface mucho más intuitiva. Además es mucho más completa y no ha presentado errores en su funcionamiento. My original Odoo helper lead me in directions that cost a lot of time and didn't work. Trying to import products with variations is a nightmare...even when Odoo do the import themselves the final outcome is nothing but a mess of mis matched data. Pros Not much. Maybe the system is OK if you are starting from scratch, but migrating to Odoo from another platform is just insanely complicated and the import functionality is third rate. Cons Promised a lot... but trying to migrate from another platform has proven to be expensive, time consuming and a total waste of time. October 20, 2024 5.0 As an Odoo user, my overall experience has been a mix of clear benefits and challenges. Starting with the positive, I love the flexibility of the system. The ability to customize and tailor applications to my business’s specific needs has been a huge plus. The fact that everything is integrated into one system – sales, accounting, inventory, and marketing – really helps make workflows smoother and improves overall visibility into operations. The interface is fairly modern and easy to understand, which is great for someone who doesn’t have much technical knowledge. However, when it comes to more advanced setups, I have found myself needing to hire a consultant for initial implementation as some aspects of the system can be quite complex. Pros I really like its user-friendly and modern interface. This software has an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. As it is an open source software, Odoo is very flexible to customize applications according to the needs of the company. Odoo integrates all areas of the business very well, facilitating the management of business processes from accounting and sales to inventory and marketing. Cons Initial setup and customization can require a lot of time, technical knowledge or expert help. Sometimes, when we want to upgrade Odoo to a new version, previous customizations may not be compatible, causing additional effort to adapt custom integrations or modules. Otherwise, all is well. Cons What I like least is that while modular pricing seems flexible, costs can escalate quickly if you unlock many features or add a lot of users. It's customizable, apt for small businesses and has easy to use UI. Cons It's quite flexible but it's not easy to customize. You may need to work with certified partners for successful use. There is so much to Odoo but that is my favorite asmy time is everything. I did have one issue due to social sites changing there coding and I reached out to support and they answered me FAST and got it all sorted out and resolved. Great company and FANTASTIC site. Pros I love Odoo, saves me time with scheduling posts and it is FREE. AMAZING!!! I am able to offer to my customers and help them get a great start. But then with all the other available program all in one place WOW!! Seriously, Odoo is the way to go and I share it with everyone that comes in my direction. You will love it also.... Got great features and easy to use. It can integrate my manufactoring module with the accounting one very easy which is really great. Cons Not super simple to start at first but once you get the hang of it, you can flow through Zaps, the help section is also great and it gives you suggestions to fix any issues you have and work arounds, a really good feature. Highly flexible. Cons If you want to install and configure Odoo without help from a partner, you need to spend quite some time to understand the vast number of features. It is easy to use and fun to bolt on extra tools Cons I think it requires and existing contextual knowledge of what makes it powerful. February 4, 2025 1.0 The website is cool, but the people behind it is completely useless. It doesn't help you have a user friendly website if no-one gives a shit when you have a problem. I guess I am expected to do every single thing I have done, all over again, or get a better website because I have absolutely no interest in continuing with Odoo if they don't care about their clients and are useless themselves. Pros It was easy to use while I could actually use it. But that's irrelevant because I lost my entire database and can't recover it anyway. Cons After I worked long hours on creating the perfect website, my free trial ended and I had no way of getting back into my original database. I tried subscribing so that I can get back to my website, but it just took me to a brand new URL to start a completely new website from scratch. I opened a ticket to get assistance, emailed Odoo and then also replied to the email that tells me my free trial has ended and specifically tells me to reply to it to discuss my options. So after doing all of that, I got absolutely no response and still have no way to get back into my website after putting in a lot of effort to get it going. So the biggest Con regarding Odoo is the fact that their customer support is an absolute piece of shit. Review Source DB Didier B. His service has been excellent. Which makes our experience with this ERP all the better! Pros Our company likes Odoo because it offers app-based modules that are easy to use. The entire software is capable of streamlining our processes and provides real-time data to all facets of our corporation. We also really like our implementation expert, \[sensitive content hidden\]. He makes Odoo great! Cons The learning curve for implementing an any ERP can be extensive; Odoo isn't necessarily more difficult to implement and may, in fact, be easier to implement than other ERPs. If I had to choose a negative about Odoo - it would be that if you build a sandbox database and choose to go live with that same database, many of the items, transactions, records, logs, etc. cannot be deleted/cleared from the sandbox database. Pros All in one place - website, e-commerce, CRM, accounting, etc. Easy to use and work with it. Very flexible to set in different companies. Cons Can think more about the accountant module localization for Bulgaria. There are some issues with VAT declarations. Cant use automatic bank transfers, because is supported only SEPA transfers. However, I am still learning how to get more results out of the same software. Pros There are a ton of features, more than I would think about any business can make use of, all for an affordable monthly subscription. There are a lot of ways to customize the software to work for your business and improve workflows, and many connectors available for connecting to external API's (my most used one is UPS) Cons The huge variety of apps available and extensive options makes it pretty difficult for a beginner to dive in, DIY style. They offer success packs to get you up and going, but they're really expensive (personal subjective opinion, I guess). The free support included with the online subscription is pretty good, and there's some videos online that might get you started, but it'll be a bit of work getting going.
