### "Solid daycare app with room to improve"

Overall, myKidzDay is a solid and reliable app for daycare communication. It does what it’s designed to do well, but some UI and performance improvements would make it even better.

Pros

The daily activity tracking is helpful and it’s convenient having check-ins, meals, naps, and photos all in one place. It gives a quick snapshot of how the day went without having to ask staff for every detail.

Cons

The interface feels a bit dated and could be more intuitive in some areas. Moving between sections can take more taps than expected, and the app can occasionally feel slow.

I wish I would of found My Kidz app sooner. Great Customer service. I was with a different app for 5 years paid much more for crappy service!

Pros

I love this app! I wish I would off made the move before. I was with Procare for 5 years and had problems that went on for a year and then I was told my account was to small to fix or even return my calls. so I switched to MyKidz I Love the service and I am saving hundreds of dollars. MY parents love it too. Great service! Great Communication! Great Value for their service.

Cons

so far I am loving the app. pretty easy to use and has everything I need to communicate with parents and manage payments and expenses all in one place.

The customer service was lacking! I spent hours on the phone trying to reach someone for an ongoing problem with parent updates no loading. It went on for a month and then i was told my account was to small to warrant a call back. I cancel my account which they Don't make easy to do after phone calls and emails! i finally got confirmation that my cancellations was submitted next day I was charged!

### "Misleading Sales and Poor Customer Support – Be Cautious"

My experience with myKidzDay was deeply disappointing. The app didn’t live up to its promises, and within two days I knew it wasn’t right for my daycare. I tried to resolve things respectfully, asking for a refund or even partial credit, but was met with cold, dismissive communication. Instead of accountability or empathy, I was accused of harassment for simply following up. It’s sad to see a company prioritize money over integrity and genuine customer care.

Pros

The idea sounded great at first — a platform to connect with families easily and share updates quickly. The sales pitch was confident and made the app seem professional and simple to use.

Cons

The app didn’t deliver what was promised. It felt miniature, unprofessional, and not user-friendly. Support was dismissive when I asked for help, and communication felt cold and uncaring.

Pros

The ability to get real time updates from our daughters teachers, photos, and diaper changes! And just how easy it is to navigate in general.

Cons

Nothing to be honest we are very pleased with the capabilities of the app and overall ease of use. We would recommend to any parent.

It was easy to set up and easy to use. I can monitor it in between things to keep parents up to date. I can send notes and concerns. It keeps track of activities I can log in their charts.

Pros

I joined MyKidzday for the price but stay with it for the value. It covers so much and takes a lot off my plate in record keeping because it’s already there in the app. Parents like it because their child’s day is in real time and it’s one stop.

Cons

I haven’t really had any issues or concerns. Tech support is right on any question I have. It’s an immediate answer.

Our Pre-K Center has used myKidzDay for the past 3 years and have found it incredibly helpful in all areas. The customer service team has been great to train and answer questions. At this point, it's a piece of cake to navigate and I am not sure how we would handle general day to day management without it. It is user friendly, with more options than we even need.

Pros

Our staff especially loves the daily digital QR check in and out feature, parent/teacher communication chat option, financial management/billing and customer training and support.

Cons

I wish staff could see chat comments sent from the director to parents, so information wouldn't be duplicated.

Excellent for attendance and the customer service is extremely responsive and friendly. Easy to use for parents and our young staff members.

Pros

We started using Mykidzday for attendance during a Summer Sail Camp in 2020 and quickly the instructors and parents found it to be a great way to message and share pictures. Many capabilities have been added since so it's virtually full service now for camps.

Cons

Some data entry could be made a bit easier if some redundant processes could be replaced with more import functionality, however, Mykidzday will help with this when asked.

I don't love the format of the app in being intuitively easy for users. It takes some time to get a hold of how to use it.

Great experience on my end. Great customer service. No complaints from parents either so the dashboard on both the parental and teacher side work great.

Pros

The convenience and customer service! Very easy to use dashboard and I normally get 1-2 emails a year asking if I have any questions or concern with the app.

Cons

That whenever you make a message to go out to parents it will not let you make paragraphs. Even if you write in paragraphs, whenever it post it will just delete the space between.

good. I would recommend to other providers. I would like some of the downloadable forms to be able to print on pdf.

Pros

Value for money and parent communication. Overall, I did like all of the features from the app that they are offering.

Cons

Health checklists are not on pdf downloadable only on spreadsheet and when downloading the form all the cells are uneven takes a long time to put them back together.

It's not good your staff lied to us. We made the mistake of telling the family their child was getting the iPad for Christmas, and now they are not; it's in 2 days. Sham on your staff. Not at all happy.

Pros

I cannot tell you we would try it, but the rep never responded.

Cons

Staff never received an iPad won in PA in October at a conference. We contacted MyKidzDay and the conference administrator, but there was still no iPad or response. We were giving in to a child with Autism for Christmas.

I have enjoyed a most pleasant experience using myKidzDay. I was new to my current job. We have numerous programs to work with. I may be dreaming but a one-stop shop would be so good.

Pros

It is very easy to use. You can switch between screens and not have to co back and sign in. The back-and-forth drives me crazy.

Cons

I wish we used it for student data and other programs. I do not have the best eyesight and the colorful screens make my work easier.

It had being good for us, we like the app I think need some changes with the amount of pictures that we can send by activities.

Pros

It is a great app so parents can sign in/out and get information about the school. Also, the teacher can sign in/out very convenient.

Cons

We do not like that we can send only one video per activity or only five pictures per activity. The video has to be only 45 seconds.

My overall experience has been great. Haven't had much problems using the app other than what shows.

Pros

The parents are able to have access to Mykidzday. Being able to communicate with the teaching staff. As well as it being easy to use with swiping in and out the children present.

Cons

The least thing is when we mark them dismissed. Our front office staff says that it still shows present when they've been marked dismissed.

I wish instead of having to delete a child you could pause the child. When a family leaves only for a few months. It’s too bad we have to delete them instead of just pausing their app.

Overall it is a nice app that allows us to communicate with families and track attendance. I also like the billing reminders for parents to pay tuition. When there are issues I am happy with their customer service as well.

Pros

I like the ease of checking attendance and seeing messages directly from parents. I also like being able send a note when a child needs extra clothes brought to school. It is also helpful to send billing reminders.

Cons

I dislike how it is more difficult for non-iphone users. I also wish I could use different font settings when sending messages to parents. I would love to be able to send and highlight, bold or italicize important notes.

It has been a wonderful experience. It’s affordable, it makes communication easier with parents. I love that it comes with educational videos to help navigate it’s just the best

It’s affordable easy to utilize and it comes with the tools to help me run my business smoothly. If I do run into any issues I have a Mykidzday rep that is only one call away to answer any questions I may have.

Cons

The only con I have is that sometimes it may lag or I may have to close out of everything before it works properly. But computers can be laggy sometimes. So honestly I have no cons

I found it convenience using myKidzDay in scheduling newsletters and lesson updates without having to disrupt the lesson. Thus, parents promptly reacted to the shared media and instructions, thus increasing the reliability of daily communication.

Cons

The push notifications are not always immediate especially if the content shared contains large files such as video. Several parents indicated that they would receive updates much later diminishing the usefulness of timely information.

Overall, it's been great as a parent. I'm grateful our daycare uses it.

Pros

As a parent, it is fantastic to get real-time updates on my kids' days at daycare. I can communicate with staff easily. I can get important updates (with notifications!), and I am able to see photos of what my kids are doing each day. It helps me feel more connected to the staff, their development, and their happiness while my children are at daycare.

Cons

Sometimes the images/videos take a very long time to load in-app. The videos shared via the app are unable to be viewed in my experience.
