Pros: I love how easy it is to give through Kindrid. Also the dashboard is extremely user friendly. Whenever I have a question, I log into my account and I can typically find the answer right away. On those occasions where I had a question that wasn't covered among the FAQs on the site, the Kindrid team was easily available via chat and got back to me with an answer very quickly.

Overall: This was our first foray into the text-to-give world. We've been so thoroughly satisfied with Kindrid that there was no need to look any further.

Love the customer support. Answers very quickly and always very helpful

Pros: Ease of use for me the administrator. Reporting is simple and to the point. Navigation of the program is easy.

Cons: An easy way for the user to find information on how to change their amount given. Also do not like the "dummy page" that they see when using a computer to log in their account.

Overall: The software makes it easy for our congregation to tithe on a regular basis.

Pros: option of text to give and the easy to find quick link are my favorite. ability to look up by giver is nice as well.

Cons: doesnt give a monthly breakdown by individual giver, just a total giver. I want to receive "red flag" updates if a giver decides not to give when they previously signed up for monthly giving. This way I can follow up on them. I want to receive emails of changed giving status, if they increase or decrease giving.

Overall: quick digital giving for clients and seamless integration with bank account

Choosing Kindrid for text giving was a great decision!

Pros: Ease of use for givers. Responsiveness of team when we need help. Constant development to make the product better.

Cons: I wish there was a way to handle event registration or product purchases with Kindrid but totally understand it's not their focus. I just wish I could find a software that was as great as Kindrid for events and merch. :)

Pros: The site is easy to use, with an attractive and appealing look. We get decent reports that help us each week and month.

Cons: We cannot choose what we wish to deposit based on dates. This feature should be considered as it helps with monthly and yearly breakdowns. I personally hate sitting at the computer at midnight on New Years' Eve, waiting to press the button so we don't get a stray person giving in the new year before we clear out the previous year.

Pros: I was able to quickly, easily, & efficiently sign up for the software. Support was on top of getting everything completed timely, even during abnormal business hours. We went live in a matter of 5 days from signup and everything was very smooth!

Cons: Having some difficulty with deposits, but seems to be getting better as IT has been working hard to get it fixed and I think they've done a ton to solve the problem.

Overall: Easy reporting!!!!

Pros: The ease of use has resulted in nearly 70% of our giving coming in via Kindrid. I especially like the ACH feature that eliminates deducted bank fees.

Cons: The initial sign up process for a first time user. I don't see any way it can be avoided, but it slows down a one-time or initial gift giver.

Overall: Ease of use and I do believe it increased our giving.

Kindrid provided a seamless transition and great overview for our new system.

Pros: Having a customer representative at the click of a button is invaluable. I always have a quick reply to any assistance I need or questions I have.

Cons: Some of our users mention it could be a little more user friendly when changing/adding information. Would be nice to have more report features.

Overall: Quick customer service which is so helpful

Since using Kindrid for our online and text giving our giving has gone up significantly

Pros: We love how user-friendly it is and easy for first-time users. The layout is customizable and took us 10 minutes to get set up! The whole process has been very smooth we highly recommend!

Pros: Simplicity with options. I love that Kindrid makes it easy to give. They also have great security for givers and have intelligent options - such as giving directly from your bank account to avoid credit and debit card fees. Another "bonus" is that they communicate well with givers. Recurring gifts always come with a "thank you for giving" email or text to encourage and thank the givers.
Finally, I would say that their customer service has been fantastic during the one or two times that we've needed their help. I highly recommend this organization!

Cons: I haven't run into any significant issues and we've been with Kindrid for about a year and a half. If I had to list something, I would probably say that their new rollout of give.church has generated the need for some explanation to our people that the name change is part of a system-wide upgrade, not a change of companies.

Overall: Giving security and ease of use for people wanting to donate to our church.

Pros: Kindrid is very easy to set up. It typically can be done in under 30 minutes. Its a very affordable platform where you will so a return on the investment very quick. Their customer support are quick to respond to any request and very helpful.

Cons: We've tried to customize some areas of the system, but have been unsuccessful. For example, we'd like to customize the automated response when a gift is process, but that is nailed down and non-customizable. Our integration with FellowshipOne is also limited and needs to be expanded to feed ACH donations accurately.

Overall: An immediate increase in giving by adding text-to-give. The giving option has become 12% of our giving.

We have had Kindrid Text to Give for several months and found it to be a great tool and investment.

Pros: Easy to use and our members use it often. We are able to get reports easily and any tech support that is needed, we have found to be excellent.

Overall: Ease of giving 24 hours a day! We had questions at first, but all were resolved quickly and easily. I would highly recommend.

Using Kindred has been a pleasant experience. It is easy to understand.

Pros: It is easy to set up and easy for people to use. Perfect for one time gifts or setting up recurring gifts.
It is a time saver because we don't have to spend a lot of time instructing people how to use it.

Cons: We have 8 campuses. Occasionally the campus names get mixed up when we receive the deposit and it directs folks gifts to the wrong campus.

Overall: It made it easier for the younger generation (who never use checks or carry cash but always have their cell phone) to make a donation right on the spot.

The experience has been amazing! The staff at Kindrid rocks! They are an awesome group!

Pros: I like that it is easy to use and very simple to navigate through. It works great with our mobile app and the recent updates to the web portal are really great!

Cons: There are still some backend concerns our finance team has that they are waiting to have resolved and answered. I am not sure of the entire scope of the concerns but I know they can answer them directly.

I love Kindrid...I have no accounting experience and it's easy to use with great features.

Pros: Ease of use and quick customer service responses. Really enjoy the webinars that are offered as well...keep those coming!

Pros: It's easy to use, we had text donations up and running and tested in less than an hour. The administrative screens are intuitive, system is very stable and responsive. The customer support team is very friendly, patient and responsive to my questions or support needs. The donor response to the system has been very favorable and widely accepted. I highly recommend this software.

Cons: There are very few cons in my opinion, everything works well. One con is that we aren't able to use Kindrid in other countries.

Tech support is superb! Quick response time, understandable answers, friendly people!

Pros: User friendly, able to look at individual donors and their history. The technical support is really great--which for me (totally technologically challenged) is very important!

Cons: Unable to "clear the list" of deposits once they've been processed & posted. I'm a "check things off the list when they're done" kind of a person, so I wish there was a way to check off the deposits I've already dealt with to make it easier at a glance which ones still need my attention.

Great! The staff are super friendly and helpful.

Pros: Very easy to use and looks great! The features are simple yet clean and easy on the eyes. The software is constantly improving.

Cons: I honestly can't think of anything that I don't like about the software. The only critique I could think of is it would be nice to have an email feature built in the software where you could email everyone messages and thank them for their giving.

Pros: The Kindrid software has made our end of the month reconciling so much simpler with the way it syncs with so many avenues of our database system. With our organizations running all contribution records through Shelby Arena, Kindrid has made the importing and communication process very smooth between the two systems.

Cons: I am not one for typing many bad reviews... But one thing that could be worked on in regards to wrapping up an end of the month giving statement. Once, you have dispersed funds for the month, there are some times where a refund may hit after the end of the month amounts have been closed causing the CSV and XML reports to not reflect the refunds or just cancel out the previous gift. We have had to manually make these corrections before importing the contributions into Shelby Arena.

Overall: Faster, Simpler, and more Efficient record reporting.

Pros: We love the ease of use for our regular/recurring and new/one-time donors. Our online giving has increased dramatically since we started with Kindrid/Give.Church at the beginning of 2016. On the back-office side, we appreciate how easy it is to access a variety of reports and to import data directly into our donor/database software (CCB).

Cons: Of course we wish it was less expensive, but we have compared it with other vendors twice since we started and Kindrid/Give.Church has been less than or equal to the competition both times.

Comments: Yes, this is a very easy platform to engage giving at your church. User setup is fairly simple, and the ease of use is really good. A simple text with an amount and a keyword and your gift is on its way. It is the backend accounting for the administrators that is a bit clunky. Unlike other giving platforms, Kindrid only allows you to connect one bank account. So if you are like most churches with multiple accounts for different funds, you will be making a lot of journal entries and transfers on backend to get your funds where they need to go. You cannot do split disbursement either. You can only make one deposit of whatever amount is currently available. The dashboard cannot be customized to view they way you want it. You cannot add keywords to a gift if one was not put in at the onset. Keywords can get hard to program to make it easy for the givers because the platform does not allow spaces between words. This seems silly until you actually have to tell the congregation what key word to use for a particular ministry or project. Like Pastor Appreciation. You can make it all one big word. Or try to shorten it up - PastApp, apprec, etc. You have to get creative in keyword assigning. The customer service is super friendly - all questions are answered through chat/email. Very quick to respond.

It seems like there is some tweaking with this app that needs to be done to make it more user friendly for the people who manage the funds and do the accounting. We will probably keep looking for a more user friendly method.

Comments: Smart Giving is intuitive and simple to use. The set up was easy and fairly quick, no merchant account needed. The support staff at Kindrid are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about their product.

Comments: We have been using Kindrid for over a year, and it has been a very easy way to collect text giving. We are able to import the transactions quickly into our database. It's great to have multiple ways for people to give.
