Cons No real dislikes - any issues faced were swiftly resolved. As billers, we love this functionality. Cons I use a lot of 59 modifiers, and it would be nice to have Optimis give us the option to let us add our own modifiers automatically in each of our CPT codes. This option isn't available. In a health business environment where it often feels like everyone is against you, the OptimisPT staff are there to help, encourage and educate. Pros OptimisPT is fantastic in regards to allowing us to be fully compliant with all rules and regulations for billing in the PT industry. You can customize but you don't have to. Cons It is sometimes difficult to locate the exercises you want in the exercise section. Pros This EMR is comprehensive and compliant with most insurance companies. The webinars that they host are great and up-to-date. Pros Scrubbing claims is quite easy with OptimisPT. All the information you need is right there on the screen with minimal need to click into another section. Cons I don't particularly like that you need to invalidate an encounter in order to add/subtract info you may have missed on your first scrub or that the PT added after the initial finalizing of the claim. But I guess I need to take time and save my favorite ones to prevent this from happening in the future. Pros Easy access to patient files, and efficient way to finish documentation. It is easy to use as a documentation tool and it is easy to look up patient info. Pros Lots of info is available on the opening page of each pt document which makes it easy to reference basic pt info as well as to follow timing of documents (progress notes, end-of-cert periods, for example). I also like that I can toggle from one note to another to locate info from previous notes. Cons There is poor organization of treatment techniques and not enough choices of measures for adult Neuro functional skills or those available are poorly worded. I find Optimis more useful for Ortho patients and not Neuro patients - and I treat more Neuro pts. Review Source RA Robbin A. I do not need to access medbridge or hep2go anymore. Cons Nothing. Everything is very easy to follow. Although if there is one, it would be the HEP portion; the system loads too long.
