Pros: The software is easy to use. The sidebar with the menu choices is clear and easy to navigate. The Giving Overview is a nice giving picture of the time frame specified - a quick glance at giving habits.

Cons: There are very few actual reports available. You just basically print the screen that you are needing the information from.

Nothing but excellent - from usability to customer service!

Pros: Easy to maneuver through the different tabs and access the information I need. The found information I did not know was available through this program.

Cons: Have not found it yet but when I do I will contact their outstanding customer service people and I am sure they will show me a better way.

Overall: Information shared with congregation.

We have overall been very pleased with Kindrid. I'm especially impressed with the customer support.

Pros: Kindrid is intuitive and easy to use. We have had some difficulties with past online giving platforms with errors transferring donations and complicated user experiences. We are very pleased with the simplicity of Kindrid.

Cons: With the recent price increase, Kindrid transaction fees are now higher than some of their competitors.

Overall, Kindrid has been great and has helped our church simplify giving.

Pros: It makes giving simple for our church. It's easy to use text to give and online giving. Also, I love that you can designate different things, based on campus, or specific projects you would like to give to.

Cons: The biggest con is that we haven't been able to integrate it as much. We use Brushfire for our event registration, and recently found out that support for a Kindrid/Brushfire integration has ceased. Would love to see more integrations like this, and for this integration to continue.

Kindrid is one of the best giving platforms available today.

Pros: The software is easy to use, with a great user interface on the front and back end that not only makes giving a breeze, but also helps our internal team with easy reporting and financial information.

They also offer the lowest rates on processing fees, which saves us a lot of money compared to other options. Don't be fooled by other companies offering lower monthly rates - processing fees are where you'll rack up the most cost, and Kindrid has the lowest fees available that I could find.

Cons: N/A - Things have been great from our perspective. We really appreciate everything available from Kindrid.

Pros: ease of use for our users, customization, deposits reports are easy to reconcile, great customer service, never had a problem with glitches

Cons: can't sort any screens by clicking on columns
need a better way to report by fund rather than exporting and sorting

Overall: integration with CCB, ease of use for our users, separate account for preschool makes bookkeeping cleaner, customizable action links, easy to turn funds on and off, pretty good reports

Pros: I love the text to give option that Kindrid allows. I use it on a monthly basis and have never had a single issue with this feature!

Cons: There is not a lot of cons to kindrid. They integrate fairly well with our website as well as our church app.

Overall: text to give is awesome. I use it personally to give to my church.

Pros: I can always immediately reach a support person with any questions in under 2 minutes. I do like how instead of a password, you only need a cellphone BUT I have had complaints that people would like to log-in with a password. Not everyone has a cellphone here so they just won't give online.

Cons: Reporting is lacking and it doesn't inform me if I had a recurring gift decline. I would like a notice that a gift tried to push through, but was declined for whatever reason so I could get in contact with the parishioner.

Shifting to a cell phone # system was a major. Kindrid staff worked very hard to help us transition.

Most of our church-based users love it. We have also used this for our preschool tuition payment system and it has worked very well.

Cons: While the cell Number system is great, there are some computer based applications that would be very helpful.

Pros: Being able to disburse the funds when it is convenient. I also like the infographics that appear on the desk top when you log in.

Cons: Having to download the CVS files, convert them into Excel, and then run sums of each column so that I can post the transactions.

Pros: Online tracking and with pertinent info is very convenient for donor relation and financial tracking progress.

Cons: I must have 2 accounts with kindrid (personal & business) - the login is occasionally confusing and does not allow access to correct account.

Overall: Increase revenue instantly

Pros: User-Friendly! I have always been able to contact someone at customer service via chat. Never had to call in for anything.

Cons: Money holds. I don't like the new change where money is held if my givers use a debit card. Besides that, I love everything about your site.

Pros: As a non-profit we have been looking for a way to make it super easy for people to give. We have used fellowship one as a main giving platform and it has worked for longtime givers that get it but for us as a non-profit we desire new givers to have a very simple process if they only one give a one time gift. Kindrid has made that possible.

Cons: The thing we are really looking for is a platform that is more of an all in one software. So what is a con about the platform isn't necessarily something you guys should should try to be but is an all in one platform for giving, donor management, event registration etc.

This is the fastest, easiest way to give.

Pros: It's so simple to use, like a giving kiosk in your pocket. I can give anytime, anywhere in under 30 seconds and I don't have to remember passwords.

Cons: Perhaps you could send the giving codes even when no code is needed. I have to make a mistake in order to get a list of the codes if I forget.

Pros: I like how it integrates with CCB. It makes it easier to transfer online giving by not having to manually post them all.

Cons: Sometimes some gifts have been pushed over to CCB more than they need to and it's a little difficult to balance. I wish there was an "other" designation with a text box.

Pros: I love that it is easy to use and that it is easy for our church members to use! I also really like that Trent and others are easily accessible through the chat button at any moment.

Cons: I wish it connected to our tax software and Quickbooks so that we could streamline. It isn't too difficult to export though.

Overall: Ease of giving.

Pros: It is extremely easy to use, for both the end user, as well as for our administrator. The text to give feature is simple and straightforward, and makes it easy for our church members to give as they feel called to, or on a reoccurring basis. The account was simple to set up, and has been easy to maintain as well.
On another note, when we first started to use the software we saw that there was no option for the church member to give every 2 weeks. After a call with our rep at Kindrid, she assured us that it would be communicated to the development team and they would get back to us. Within a few short weeks the change was made, and the option was added to the giving service. It is awesome to work with a company that listens to feedback, and then implements the needed changes when they make sense.

Kindrid is easy to use. Support staff have been very helpful when needed.

Cons: There is a pretty significant lag time between giving and depositing into our account when a person is paying from their bank account.

Pros: Kindrid allows me and other members of our church to easily tithe at any time without having to remember to bring cash or a check! In society's growing reliance on technological advances, Kindrid encourages faithful giving through ease of access continued success.

Cons: My only con would be the ability to generate information on the website. I am an account administrator and the church treasurer and it is slightly inconvenient to find totals for individual givers within a specific time period. I have to export the data to an excel spreadsheet in order to see totals.

Kindrid is web based, there is no additional software required and it's EXCEPTIONALLY easy to use.

Pros: Easy to use and very secure. The reports are downloaded as csv (comma-separated values) file that you can open with Microsoft Office Excel or any other spreadsheet program. Pros: I love that if I ever have issues (which are rare), I know I can resolve them within 10 minutes due to Kindrid's world-class customer service.

Cons: If I have to choose something, it'd be that we have to pay extra for the 5-digit giving code. We'd really like one for ease-of-response, but we can't justify the extra cost.

Pros: Ease of use for the end user. Designations are easily assigned and giving is made easy. It is easy to share links with others and promote giving.

Cons: I feel like there are too many fees from the month to month charge to a percentage of the giving being takes we lose quite a bit.

Pros: It integrates easily with our database. It takes me only a few minutes a day to import the giving. Our users love the simplicity of using it. They can make one time contributions or set up recurring giving. They can also easily give toward different funds so we can use it for different purposes. Their customer service is outstanding. They always respond quickly, and they really worked hard to get the correct integration with our database setup. They listen to our needs and help us make sure we are collecting the information we need about our givers.

Cons: The reporting is quite limited. I can't always get the reports I want, but if I ask support, they can send them.

Overall: We use this service to provide our attenders with the ability to make contributions via text. They simply text a keyword to a short code number and set up an account. Once that is done, they can give whenever they want by texting a keyword and a number. They can make one time gifts or recurring gifts. We have seen people give via this method that have never given any other way. It is so easy for people to use, and it is extremely easy for us to manage. It integrates easily with our database and is easy for our accountant to reconcile.

Kindrid is user friendly. Our customers love the two-step authentication - makes them feel secure.

Pros: Their Customer Service is top notch! Their people are knowledgeable and always respond quickly - usually within minutes!! If I actually manage to stump them with a question, they get back to me within 24 hours with a solution.

Cons: There is no "comment" section. We also have quite a lot of issues because there is not a comment section where people can specify a person or mission group to which they would like the donation to go. I would also like a much greater ability to customize the email receipts as well as the giving page.

Kindred has been great to work with and a pleasant surprise in helping with our electronic giving!

Pros: We love the flexibility and the management options we have in the giving platform. It integrates seamlessly and effectively. We have had no complaints and we really cannot say enough good things about this company.

Overall: Our electronic giving has increased and the challenges have decreased.

I use it regularly to verify bank deposits. I find it quite intuitive.

Pros: Kindrid has been a joy to use. Customer support is very responsive and we saw a 15% increase in giving after the first year of use. The integration with Church Community Builder was simple to setup and has worked much better than other giving app integrations we have experienced in the past.

Cons: The only con was getting people on-boarded to the system but Kindrid does offer graphic material as well as a video. The only thing that would have made it better was if there video was a Premiere/After Effects file and was structured in such a way that our video team could have quickly manipulated it to be a better fit to our branding.

We were one of the initial clients and it has worked well for us with getting into online giving.

Pros: This software allowed our church to take different payment methods and process them all with our subsplash app.

Cons: Unable to customize reports and different quirks with the way it would open excel documents. If you used a different database management tool it would have worked better

Cons: You can find better rates out there. The rates are reasonable for what you get, but it could be more competitive.

Pros: I like how easy it is for our members to give via text and online. The integration with CCB is smooth as well.

Cons: I am not a fan of the limited ways you can download reports. I wish there was a way we could have the option to easily run reports on the website without having to download. The reports would need to have the option to sort by campus and designation within that campus.

Pros: I love how easy it is to give through Kindrid. Also the dashboard is extremely user friendly. Whenever I have a question, I log into my account and I can typically find the answer right away. On those occasions where I had a question that wasn't covered among the FAQs on the site, the Kindrid team was easily available via chat and got back to me with an answer very quickly.

Overall: This was our first foray into the text-to-give world. We've been so thoroughly satisfied with Kindrid that there was no need to look any further.

Pros: Ease of use for me the administrator. Reporting is simple and to the point. Navigation of the program is easy.

Cons: An easy way for the user to find information on how to change their amount given. Also do not like the "dummy page" that they see when using a computer to log in their account.

Pros: option of text to give and the easy to find quick link are my favorite. ability to look up by giver is nice as well.

Cons: doesnt give a monthly breakdown by individual giver, just a total giver. I want to receive "red flag" updates if a giver decides not to give when they previously signed up for monthly giving. This way I can follow up on them. I want to receive emails of changed giving status, if they increase or decrease giving.

Overall: quick digital giving for clients and seamless integration with bank account

Choosing Kindrid for text giving was a great decision!

Pros: Ease of use for givers. Responsiveness of team when we need help. Constant development to make the product better.

Cons: I wish there was a way to handle event registration or product purchases with Kindrid but totally understand it's not their focus. I just wish I could find a software that was as great as Kindrid for events and merch. :)

Pros: The site is easy to use, with an attractive and appealing look. We get decent reports that help us each week and month.

Cons: We cannot choose what we wish to deposit based on dates. This feature should be considered as it helps with monthly and yearly breakdowns. I personally hate sitting at the computer at midnight on New Years' Eve, waiting to press the button so we don't get a stray person giving in the new year before we clear out the previous year.

Pros: I was able to quickly, easily, & efficiently sign up for the software. Support was on top of getting everything completed timely, even during abnormal business hours. We went live in a matter of 5 days from signup and everything was very smooth!

Cons: Having some difficulty with deposits, but seems to be getting better as IT has been working hard to get it fixed and I think they've done a ton to solve the problem.

Overall: Easy reporting!!!!

Pros: The ease of use has resulted in nearly 70% of our giving coming in via Kindrid. I especially like the ACH feature that eliminates deducted bank fees.

Cons: The initial sign up process for a first time user. I don't see any way it can be avoided, but it slows down a one-time or initial gift giver.

Overall: Ease of use and I do believe it increased our giving.

Kindrid provided a seamless transition and great overview for our new system.

Pros: Having a customer representative at the click of a button is invaluable. I always have a quick reply to any assistance I need or questions I have.

Cons: Some of our users mention it could be a little more user friendly when changing/adding information. Would be nice to have more report features.

Overall: Quick customer service which is so helpful

Pros: Simplicity with options. I love that Kindrid makes it easy to give. They also have great security for givers and have intelligent options - such as giving directly from your bank account to avoid credit and debit card fees. Another "bonus" is that they communicate well with givers. Recurring gifts always come with a "thank you for giving" email or text to encourage and thank the givers.
Finally, I would say that their customer service has been fantastic during the one or two times that we've needed their help. I highly recommend this organization!

Cons: I haven't run into any significant issues and we've been with Kindrid for about a year and a half. If I had to list something, I would probably say that their new rollout of give.church has generated the need for some explanation to our people that the name change is part of a system-wide upgrade, not a change of companies.

Overall: Giving security and ease of use for people wanting to donate to our church.

Pros: Kindrid is very easy to set up. It typically can be done in under 30 minutes. Its a very affordable platform where you will so a return on the investment very quick. Their customer support are quick to respond to any request and very helpful.

Cons: We've tried to customize some areas of the system, but have been unsuccessful. For example, we'd like to customize the automated response when a gift is process, but that is nailed down and non-customizable. Our integration with FellowshipOne is also limited and needs to be expanded to feed ACH donations accurately.

Overall: An immediate increase in giving by adding text-to-give. The giving option has become 12% of our giving.

Pros: Easy to use and our members use it often. We are able to get reports easily and any tech support that is needed, we have found to be excellent.

Overall: Ease of giving 24 hours a day! We had questions at first, but all were resolved quickly and easily. I would highly recommend.

Using Kindred has been a pleasant experience. It is easy to understand.

Pros: It is easy to set up and easy for people to use. Perfect for one time gifts or setting up recurring gifts.
It is a time saver because we don't have to spend a lot of time instructing people how to use it.

Cons: We have 8 campuses. Occasionally the campus names get mixed up when we receive the deposit and it directs folks gifts to the wrong campus.

Overall: It made it easier for the younger generation (who never use checks or carry cash but always have their cell phone) to make a donation right on the spot.

The experience has been amazing! The staff at Kindrid rocks! They are an awesome group!

Pros: I like that it is easy to use and very simple to navigate through. It works great with our mobile app and the recent updates to the web portal are really great!

Cons: There are still some backend concerns our finance team has that they are waiting to have resolved and answered. I am not sure of the entire scope of the concerns but I know they can answer them directly.

I love Kindrid...I have no accounting experience and it's easy to use with great features.

Pros: It's easy to use, we had text donations up and running and tested in less than an hour. The administrative screens are intuitive, system is very stable and responsive. The customer support team is very friendly, patient and responsive to my questions or support needs. The donor response to the system has been very favorable and widely accepted. I highly recommend this software.

Cons: There are very few cons in my opinion, everything works well. One con is that we aren't able to use Kindrid in other countries.

Tech support is superb! Quick response time, understandable answers, friendly people!

Pros: User friendly, able to look at individual donors and their history. The technical support is really great--which for me (totally technologically challenged) is very important!

Cons: Unable to "clear the list" of deposits once they've been processed & posted. I'm a "check things off the list when they're done" kind of a person, so I wish there was a way to check off the deposits I've already dealt with to make it easier at a glance which ones still need my attention.

Pros: The Kindrid software has made our end of the month reconciling so much simpler with the way it syncs with so many avenues of our database system. With our organizations running all contribution records through Shelby Arena, Kindrid has made the importing and communication process very smooth between the two systems.

Cons: I am not one for typing many bad reviews... But one thing that could be worked on in regards to wrapping up an end of the month giving statement. Once, you have dispersed funds for the month, there are some times where a refund may hit after the end of the month amounts have been closed causing the CSV and XML reports to not reflect the refunds or just cancel out the previous gift. We have had to manually make these corrections before importing the contributions into Shelby Arena.

Overall: Faster, Simpler, and more Efficient record reporting.

Pros: We love the ease of use for our regular/recurring and new/one-time donors. Our online giving has increased dramatically since we started with Kindrid/Give.Church at the beginning of 2016. On the back-office side, we appreciate how easy it is to access a variety of reports and to import data directly into our donor/database software (CCB).

Cons: Of course we wish it was less expensive, but we have compared it with other vendors twice since we started and Kindrid/Give.Church has been less than or equal to the competition both times.

Comments: Yes, this is a very easy platform to engage giving at your church. User setup is fairly simple, and the ease of use is really good. A simple text with an amount and a keyword and your gift is on its way. It is the backend accounting for the administrators that is a bit clunky. Unlike other giving platforms, Kindrid only allows you to connect one bank account. So if you are like most churches with multiple accounts for different funds, you will be making a lot of journal entries and transfers on backend to get your funds where they need to go. You cannot do split disbursement either. You can only make one deposit of whatever amount is currently available. The dashboard cannot be customized to view they way you want it. You cannot add keywords to a gift if one was not put in at the onset. Keywords can get hard to program to make it easy for the givers because the platform does not allow spaces between words. This seems silly until you actually have to tell the congregation what key word to use for a particular ministry or project. Like Pastor Appreciation. You can make it all one big word. Or try to shorten it up - PastApp, apprec, etc. You have to get creative in keyword assigning. The customer service is super friendly - all questions are answered through chat/email. Very quick to respond.

It seems like there is some tweaking with this app that needs to be done to make it more user friendly for the people who manage the funds and do the accounting. We will probably keep looking for a more user friendly method.
