Cons: because it is so flexible it is very easy to get overcome by the flexibility of the database plus it complicates your data entry process

Pros: Great organizational structure and out of the box the system comes with a lot of functionality that will get most people through the business they need.

Cons: The overall setup and administration is not intuitive at all so you will be searching through the help forums to try to find answers to your questions.

Pros: Salesforce CRM is not perfect, but it has increased productivity over our previous CRM. Since it's cloud-based, I enjoy accessing the software while traveling without having to use my laptop.

Cons: The Android mobile app is buggy. Scrolling in the mobile app can be unreliable at times. I've had to make multiple attempts to open accounts.

Cons: There is always room for imporovement. New features should be added frequently. I would like to see case studys and in-depth examples of how to maximize my work.

Comments: I have seen great buy in from my clients.

Pros: Increases productivity by presenting client data in a logical manner. Easy to create sales campaigns and generate solid leads. The visual workflow is intuitive and easy to use.

Cons: If you are new to CRM software solutions, the interface and robust functionality can be a bit overwhelming.

Pros: Salesforce helps us track leads but what's important to me is it tells us where our leads came from. I set up a lot of Facebook ads and Salesforce lets me know how successful the ads are.

Cons: It can be incredibly confusing to use. With the update the search function barely works and we can no longer see quick snapshots of leads (time, date, name etc)

Overall: Our business would not be able to function properly without Salesforce. We deal with thousands and thousands of leads a month and Salesforce helps us keep them organized and trackable.

Great product. Easy to master, helpful for all.

Pros: I like the flexibility with the overall software. The categorizing of contacts and leads and the ability for very specific features/notes.

Cons: At first it was a bit tricky to navigate and understand everything (Sidenote: I never once used a video/asked for help when first working with it)

My experience is very good using the salesforce as it made our day to day task easy and efficient!!!

Cons: Very difficult implementation. Takes some upkeep to make sure things run smoothly and all processes are aligned properly.

Pros: I like that Salesforce is cloud based, and you don't have to download anything on to your desktop. It is also nice to be able to access this from home.

Cons: The app did not work very well for me. When we inputted our current information into salesforce, it seemed like there were a lot of glitches.

Pros: The ability to customize the program to do what you want is endless. There are so many app companies out there that integrates its unbelievable.

Cons: There is a lack of customer support. Once you get into the software you quickly find out that every add-on/development will cost you money.

Pros: This is a great place to start if you dont already use or have never used a CRM, it's fast and works well, many great plugs ins (outlook) - not much management needed to get it running

Cons: Not has robust as other more feature laden applications. It tends to run a little slow (tried on several computers) - often will fail on start up and have to restart the application to get it running

Pros: Most of them are provided by Salesforce as Out of the Box. So easy to drag and drop and achevie required functionality.

Cons: Few limitations are there. If Salesforce can address them, it will be really helpful. We started using Lightning version of Salesforce, but we see some slowness in this mode.

I've experienced Salesforce in the non-profit world and have been thoroughly impressed!

Pros: Salesforce is one of the best CRM's that money can buy! The simplicity and functionality alone make this software stand far above most of it's competitors. The customer support is fantastic and fast!

Cons: In the non-profit world, there is nothing at all that I can think of negatively to say about Salesforce. The price however, when trying to incorporate this software into our for profit company left others wanting. Unless your organization is large enough to utilize the vast amount of benefits Salesforce has to offer, then you may be paying for a little more than you need.

Overall: We were able to see what a TOP CRM can and should do.
We were able to count the cost of how much we should be spending for such features.

Salesforce has to be the most powerful CRM that I have used.

Pros: The fact that you can customize virtually everything and get any or all sort of data that you are looking for, all in one place.

Cons: I'd appreciate a better looking interface. I understand they have invested more in UX than the UI, but for someone who has to spend hours looking at it, I could do with a better design.

Pros: I really enjoy the fact that you can tweak Salesforce to cater to your organization's needs. Our Administrators were able to program functionalities to allow our users to run and program comprehensive reports based on the data entered. Used properly Salesforce can be a great tool to keep track of Sales and even patient records. Salesforce allows users to download raw data sheets which in turn can be pivoted and provided to customers for review. Administrators can also limit access to users by role which is important for those who work with sensitive information.

Cons: Compared to other CRMs on the market, Salesforce is very expensive, although they get up and running quickly, it is complex to manage for Administrators. End users sometimes find it complicated to generate reports, most of the time it requires an advance user with practice using the tool to generate these reports.

Overall: Salesforce allows us to keep track of our clients and manage our reports efficiently.

Salesforce is a great data collecting and organizing site. It is functional and effective.

Pros: Well what i liked most was the way it tracks my contacts and alerts me to who I need to touch base with before I even know I do. Its easy to use and stratigize my day based on my alerts

Pros: It stores numerous information securely and can be shared within your network, accessible, customizable, and the language of Salesforce is very easy to understand.

Pros: Intuitive User Experience, well defined workflow, ease of defining customer requirement as per business processes and customization. Ease of implementation and short turn around time.

Cons: Configuring for use on Mobile interface / responsive design for easy use on go. For small business there are too many features making it complex.

Overall: Consulting assignments for implementing this product for my clients. There is good workforce available in market to get trained professional as well as client opting to take it as cloud model based implementation. However, we could not recommend this to our small customer due to high cost of licenses and implementation efforts.

Pros: This software looks professional, clean and easy to read. It was user friendly and easy to set up.

Cons: This software malfunctioned for us during a critical time and took more than 2 weeks to be fixed! Awful experience.

Pros: Use SalesForce through my work. I like the program because there are multiple ways to navigate through an account so you canget where you need to be form almost any screen or section in an account.

Cons: It can be easy to get lost in the multiple sections. However there are enough navigation options to get back to the necessary screens within a few clicks

Pros: One aspect of this software I like the most is the Salesforce Trailhead which enables users to learn everything there is to know about Salesforce.com. This makes operating the functionality aspect of this software so much easier and the most fun, trackable way!

Cons: There is not too much to dislike but I do think the forecasting function is a bit of a drag. Hard to figure out and personally, I don't use it in my business.

Cons: My only complaint would be the inability to add a product or contact when you are in the middle of an activity. For example, if you are logging a call report and your contact has not been entered into the system, you have to close out of the report, go add the contact, and then start your activity logging over.

Pros: It worked well with our hosted phone system so we could get screen pops when phone calls were coming in.

Cons: I signed up for a free trial, just wanted to test out a couple different CRM Systems, to see what worked best for me and my company...... Their sales reps called me multiple times a day for the entirety of my free trial. Even after I told them what I was doing and asked them not to bother me, the still called and left voicemails, sent emails, MULTIPLE times a day! That alone pushed me away and is why I did not choose their CRM System over the other one that I ended up going with.

Pros: The program is very much so plug and play style eg. it allows for "low-end" users to setup tiers of customer services and create canned priority responses. The program also allowed for "high-end" users to create custom if/then tier responses through additional pages provided from the SalesForce customer service team.

Cons: In order to access those high-end areas and integrate your own website into the SalesForce system there was quite a bit of trial and error with the expected learning curve of their software. I noticed that the html customization was a bit lack luster for the low-end user as it required a bunch of APL as opposed to drag and drop integration.

Overall: We were initially using a shared gmail to collectively address customer service questions about our software. This program allowed us to set up tiered responses and show active members working on the tickets. This has greatly speed up our response time. ALSO!, it integrates with the other SalesForce products seamlessly.

Pros: A robust platform with amazing standard functionality and the ability to customize and expand. There are so many ways to automate work, streamline processes, and capture critical data points for reporting and process improvement.
With three upgrades per year (at no extra cost!) there are new features constantly available.
The Idea Exchange is a great resource not only for Salesforce to continually learn from users and improve the product, but also for users to learn from each other.
The AppExchange provides almost endless options for additional features.

Cons: Even though it's well designed, setting up and getting the most from the platform is not the easiest thing. If you just try to replicate what you were doing in your legacy system, you might as well not make the switch.
There are SO MANY features that learning even the basics can take a while (although their Trailhead training system and help documentation is really robust).

Overall: Having every department in the company using one platform breaks down silos and allows for innovation, growth, and cooperation. Tracking a customer's journey from first contact through contract renewal (and everything in between) is game-changing.

Pros: I have been using Salesforce's Sales Cloud for a while now in a variety of projects, among some other options. In general, I can say that they are the giants of Customer Relationship Management for a good reason. First of all, their platforms are as solid as they can be; I have got Customer Support in no time, they tend to answer any inquiries as quickly as they can. Many of my employees have had doubts (Some of them are not as knowledgeable at using the Software) and all of these were solved kindly. I could say that Salesforce best asset is their incredibly well prepared employees.

Pros: It's ubiquitous, almost every company I've worked for used it, so there's a lot of shared learnings that you can apply across organizations. You can add on virtually anything, so you can buy products that improve what you want to do. When you have a good Salesforce admin, they can make your life much easier.

Cons: At every company Salesforce gets extremely cluttered. Duplicate entries are the worst - how many companies can there be with the same name, different or even the same reps, contacts in one and not the other, etc. You shouldn't be able to make duplicate entries. Also editing fields is cumbersome, double clicking to edit, then save on top, then certain fields are required but weren't marked so until you try to save it. All in all, it feels clunky.

Overall: All of our company's information is in there so if I need to find something, I can.

Pros: The best part of using salesforce in my last role was the ability to pull any report I could possibly need. There are a ton of different options to pull your data to analyze it, save reports privately, save them into a group folder to collaborate, or to save publicly to the whole company.

Cons: Salesforce allows a lot of customizations and while this seems like a really good thing - beware. Having a highly customized Salesforce instance will lead to multitudes of data issues and inconsistencies down the line. It's best to stick to rigid standards and not give too many permissions for people to customize their data input.

Overall: I have worked in several CRM type databases but Salesforce is without a doubt the best. It is also a highly marketable skill when applying for jobs once you have a comprehensive understanding of the tool.

Pros: Secure login, search abilities which allow to find things easily, remembers my searches so I don't have to search again to find what I need.

Cons: Not too easy to use unless you have had some kind of training on how to maneuver around in there, use for engineering tasks and it is hard to see all of you task whether closed or not.

Comments: Overall I have a been a SFDC Admin/Consultant and Project Manager for 5+ years and overall my end users are really happy with the application.

Pros: Easy to use, administer & configure Efficient application with lots of great features Can easily build ad-ons Lots of free training available via Trailhead Fee development versions

Cons: It can be pricey especially for the editions that are configurable. There are some out of the box BOX in terms of end to end business processes such as order mgmt. that require additional purchases or custom development. Also for larger or complex organizations the existing object limits can become major obstacles.

Pros: I think Salesforce is very user-friendly. Easy to pick up on and I really enjoy how easy it is to moves files/accounts into an Excel sheet for quick use.

Cons: They have multiple overlapping features with very specific Salesforce technologies/languages that are difficult to work together. Instead of using other good open source projects, they just keep reinventing the wheel, with a very bad result for the developers.

Pros: Being able to quickly search. Easy user flow for updating client information. Easy to share links to accounts through other mediums (i.e. Slack).

Cons: As easy as it is to use, and can also be super complicated. Really deep API makes it a little tricky to integrate.

Pros: This is completely game-changing software, when it's fully configured and running properly. There's an infinite amount of expandability and horsepower under the hood, but getting it all working out of the box can be a challenge.

Cons: Implementation can be tough, but there are advisors and consultants galore to help get you there. It's an entirely new CRM, so complexities are to be expected.

Pros: Salesforce is the go-to tool though our partner portals. It's been easy to use, manage, and provides a reliable report.

Cons: At times it feels like there are an abundance of fields that are mandatory but, the analytics outweigh the extra data entry.

Pros: I like the reporting capabilites. I use multiple reports to not only track my clients being contacted but the success of my close rates associated with specific tasks.

Cons: It can be difficult to learn reporting capabilities. Due to the expansiveness of reporting in SFDC, it can be difficult to know which reports best suit your role.

Overall: Higher contact rates for clients and better visibility into my sales opportunities.

Salesforce is very easy to use and provides solutions to my CRM issues.

Pros: Ease of use, functionality, ability to modify settings. Ability to easily manage calendar appointments and tasks.

Pros: The interface is simple and easy to use. We can organize all of our contacts with notes and other relevant information about our clients.

Cons: Whenever I log into Salesforce from a different computer terminal, it sends a verification code which I am required to input before being able to log in. A little annoying, since it is inefficient/an extra step.
