It's scalable and extremely customizable, something many ERPs lack. It's fully cloud-based, and has modules for pretty much everything that isn't included in the base application, including multiple e-commerce suites, demand planning, online forms, WMS, HR, the list goes on. Pros Flexible, smart and adaptive ERP system. We have made it work for our business that is very niche, and we use it in all aspects of our business. Cons Can be clunky and is not as intuitive to use for those less familiar with technology. It is working on AI features which should assist with streamlining processes. One subscription with multiple accounts for assured management and checking. Pros We do retailing and no software can do better than NetSuite. It allows multiple accounts and several user types: analysts, salespeople and accountants. Cons We use it despite some small difficulties. While the result was not disappointing, the implementation costs to get there were higher than expected. Pros NetSuite is an all in one platform for CRM, ERP and ecommerce. It comes with a robust set of features. It is cloud based, so it is scalable, flexible and easy to access. Works as expected. Cons Implementation required external consultants. January 4, 2025 2.0 Not a fan, used it for 3 consecutive years on another company and then 2 more for invoicing which was another entirely new way of use from the one I used on the previous company. Pros Other than it's customizable, it really is hard to learn and implement in a team. So I can't speak much of it Cons Once more, the abundance of options and functions overwhelms the user and it's not something to learn in a couple of days. Cons The UI is extremely outdated, the browser compatibility is limited, and input fields exhibit odd behaviors such as defaulting to random values or counterintuitive keyboard navigation of the List views. The real time conversion of currency, audit trail and account reconciliation functionalities brought down the month end closing time. Cons In multi-location inventory transfers there are times when the systems fail to synchronise for a while thus giving an appearance of wrong balance of stock at certain locations. NetSuite has been really challenging at best. Pros The ability to do everything in one platform. Cons Integration is tedious and expensive. It can be very clunky in that its not intuitive and user friendly. It appears the product was created by programmers with not the input of the needs of accountants. Some of the basic statement you would expect to see in any accounting system is not available. You need a full time consultant to be successful which is frustrating.
